Im still thinking about mac’s boobs and biteable arms…
i think the saddest part about mac's twink death is we no longer get to see him dress up like a 12-year-old with a skateboard
Probably been said before but what if dennis did use Johnny to get Mac out of the apartment because that was when he was bringing home the guys he had gotten with the S.I.N.N.E.D. system and he knew Mac would be weird about it so he sends him to the motel until he’s done his thing, but also discreetly picks up his phone because using the beads during that time maybe gives him the illusion that when he’s having sex with some other faceless nameless guy he’s actually having sex with Mac but he can’t *actually* have sex with Mac because what if that messes up the delicate balance they currently have, or what if it’s then suddenly too real, all these random people you know it doesn’t mean anything, anyone can get a guy to bang them once, but with Mac it would mean something, something he’s not quite ready to face, something they’re both maybe not ready to face, because Mac’s moved on and Dennis is just catching up, so he hides behind Johnny and the beads, and when the truth comes out, Mac hides behind them just as much because the connection they have through the phone, through the app, it’s safe, for both Mac and Dennis, who’ve never had a genuine relationship, who are afraid to take the leap into one, but it’s still not real and at the end of Frank vs. Russia and continuing through to Dennis Takes a Mental Health Day, Dennis starts to realize he wants it to be... he wants a real connection, he wants to take that leap because he knows Mac will be there to catch him if he falls, but then Mac’s not. Two ships passing in the night or whatever.
dennis reynolds is at his best when he's being gay and pretentious while smoking a cigarette
he's dreaming about birds with teeth
obsessed with the fact that dennis visibly recoils when mac says "the love of my life" cause likeeee
it could either be that dennis thought mac meant he was the love of mac's life (since mac was looking at him meaningfully then) OR he was appalled by the idea that anyone who was not him could be considered the love of mac's life (since mac was going to introduce someone). also charlie and dee don't even react lol it's such a small insignificant detail though
very prominent "potential is infinite" sticker on this pillar of paddy's pub in the gang tends bar. the tragedy at the core of always sunny is these are the people least likely to realize it. and as they are on the lowest rungs of society, no one will help them either
You guys need to start greasing some dudes I’m gonna freak out!
Thinking about how Charlie had thought of Mac as his best friend ever since Dennis banged the Waitress in season one, if not his entire life, only for Mac to say it's bullshit. The entire time Charlie had thought of Mac as his best friend, Mac has thought of Dennis as his. Surely, this wasn't always the case. Mac had been friends with Charlie far longer than he has been friends with Dennis. For most of their lives, Mac must have thought of Charlie as his best friend. When was it along the way that Mac's idea of who his best friend was shifted? When did he decide Charlie no longer fit the bill? What if I started throwing up and screaming and punching the floor?
