The first thing I thought when I saw him was that someone so beautiful could not possibly be deadly. It didn’t matter that I had already been proved wrong. Seonghwa was a Hunger Games Victor,  and he held one of the highest death counts.

Some of it also had to do with the fact that he was twice as charming as he was beautiful, sponsors rained upon him the moment he got to the Capitol. Seonghwa represented District 2, which meant people knew he had been raised to kill, and he was good at it.

As the middle of the day slowly approached, the sun got just a tad bit stronger. The temperature rose but stayed comfortable, the small breeze accompanying it; playing with the green grass covering most of the park. The sunlight beamed against the empty basketball court, one lonely hoop standing at the end of it. The hoop was cranked to the side, damage done by the numerous balls that were pushed through it each day. However it was empty, the kids that usually play on it all preoccupied with school.

The scent looming over the park could only be described as a scent of late spring and nature. It threaded the air, cleaning it of all the toxic fumes the city could send over through it. The day felt so unreal, as if it was bringing even inanimate objects to life, colors bright from the way sun bounced off of them.

Sitting back and observing everything in silence brought you sense of tranquility, the feeling of being apart of nature even if there were apartment building surrounding you.

Chanhee's shadow got your attention as he waddled over beside you, taking a seat right the barely present shadow the tree above you provided. The sun made it slightly harder to look at him, but he himself looked like a human sunshine. He was shining, from the white outfit he wore, his soft pink hair braided with the beams of light, all the way to the bright smile adorning his face. He seemed like an angel at that moment, prompting you to return the smile.

He didn't interrupt the calmness of the moment, but the way his knee rested touching with yours caused a tingling sensation to run down your spine, butterflies settling in as a result of his gentle nature.

You left the light open, Sunghoon noticed. He stood at the top of the stairs, staring at the flickering light bulb down in the basement with his feet barely grazing the floor — a reminder that he was nothing but a mere spectre. Could he even be considered an existence? Sunghoon’s hand hovered over the light switch on the wall; the same place where you had left your touch a while ago.

He could hardly feel it underneath his skin, as if there was an invisible layer that prevented him from leaving his touch on things that weren’t of his world — Snap! — but he could still make his way through. The flickering light faded and the switch was flipped, different from how you had left it. Weird, wasn’t it? He was naught but an apparition. But oh, he wasn’t like the rest of his kind; because Park Sunghoon was a special case.

The house was filled with darkness except for the small rays of moonlight peeking their way through the dusty curtains. Sombre dullness reflected in his eyes, the male let his gaze drift to the side onto your sleeping form on the couch that was a few feet away from the basement door. He could hear your breathing, he could see the way your chest rose and fell with every single breath that you took, he could feel your faint heartbeat.

Park Sunghoon was different from you, far too different… or was he?

He closed his eyes.

Ding dong!

The grandfather clock chimed its haunting melody, a sign that the sun had begun its rise from the east.

Sunghoon always hated the fact that time was merciless towards him. As if it had a mind of its own, time could be as uncanny as it liked and he could do nothing about it. His eyelids were heavy but he lifted them open with a resigned sigh. When Sunghoon looked back, you were already gone and he heard a sharp inhale just right behind him.

“What the—.”

There you were, muttering under your breath with eyes blown wide open. You hurriedly switched on the light in the living room, your hasty steps screeching against the floor — no, you did not recall shutting off the light down in the basement at all.

There was a tint of regret in Sunghoon's mind when he realized that his harmless act earlier had given you quite the scare. It was funny; that you and him were in the same room and yet, the terrified look on your face was different from the nonchalance he displayed.

Sunghoon saw it in your eyes, the fear that slowly began spreading across your dilated pupils.

He didn't know what came upon him — he had only let your name leave his lips as a hushed whisper of longing, “(Y/N).” No, Sunghoon wasn't expecting you to turn around and lock gazes with him with those (E/C) irises of yours.

You took a few steps backwards, hesitance evident in the stutter of your voice. “Wh-who are you!? How did you get in here?” He wasn't expecting you to be able to see him, what was happening? You didn't seem to recognize him… Was it for the better or for the worse? Sunghoon couldn't tell — but for now, he'll play along.

"I live here, actually. Or you can say, haunt, for lack of a better word."

The way Sunghoon spoke of it so calmly had you thinking of so many questions. "I have been here for a long time… maybe too long." He raised his gaze to meet yours, blank eyes silently uttering words that couldn't leave his mouth; And you, you weren't supposed to be here.

Enough with the unimportant issues on your dash. let's focus on the scientists protests for the time being. some of you may think this isn't a serious matter, but it is. This is about proffesional NASA scientists that denounced the usage of fossil fuels, Claiming that if we do not, the planet will end in 3-5 years. They have been warning us for years, but we as well as the government, have just disregarded them. I'm utilizing my platform to warn people, we can't ingnore it, we must act.

We only have 4-5 years to save the earth. Plant more trees, water conservation, end fossil fuels now and etc to save earth.

Simple ways to help :

1. Delete unnecessary / unwanted emails, why?

― Deleting emails is the easiest way to reduce your carbon footprint on the computer, what is carbon footprint? Carbon footprint is the total greenhouse gas emmisions caused by an individual, event, organization, service, place or product, expressed as carbon dioxide equivalent.

Tips to delete emails :

― Use a laptop pr computer to delete emails more efficiently! you could just click select all.

2. Cut the strings of your disposable mask after using.

3. Unplug electronics if not used.

4. Purchasing energy-efficient appliances such as lights, air conditions, heaters, refrigerators, and washing machines.
