can we finally have the conversation about how erik’s gay montage in apocalypse of charles from first class, telling him that they need him and that he’s necessary is not really what happened? I mean, they did have a conversation in which charles convinced erik to stay & help but erik’s memory added something to what charles was saying.
this is the original scene from x-men: first class and then there’s the scene from erik’s memory in x-men: apocalypse
in first class:
“its not just me you’re walking away from. here you have the chance to be part of something much bigger than yourself. I won’t stop you leaving. I could, but I won’t.”
in apocalypse:
“it’s not just me you’re walking away from. here you have the chance to be part of something much bigger than yourself- and it needs you erik.”
…
I just think it’s beautiful that this is how erik remembered what charles said… I don’t think it was an editing mistake, I truly believe it was on purpose that they used a different scene.
This but it’s Erik going on a mission with the Brotherhood and Charles is pissed off at him for leaving that long again
"If I don't reply by tomorrow, then consider me dead." It's been two years since you got that message, and you haven't seen them since. Suddenly, your phone lights up: "Sorry, that took longer than I thought."
I've seen that on ig :
"I think one of my favourite things ever is the fact that before she watched Supernatural, my girlfriend literally thought that the plot was that two angels had fallen from heaven as children, and were found by an old drunk named Bobby who called them Sam and Dean , and chose the name "Winchester" after his favourite gun, then raised them to hunt monsters."
And you know what ?
I'm gonna write it. 🫡
Okay, hear me out !
I found this fic on Ao3 and I loved it so I’m not gatekeeping :
Human!Charles is Nina’s father and he meets Erik while he (Erik) is on the run after the event of DoFP (Magda is actually the mutant) and he asks him to help a little around the house and in exchange he lets Erik stay and don’t denounce him to the authorities.
I feel like I summarized it so badly, but I swear it’s good !
Okay it’s me with another Cherik fic recommendation !
Imagine meeting a man in a small café and he has fun trashing your favorite author in front of you. Now imagine falling in love with this man, without knowing that he is actually your favorite author?
Well, that’s what happens to Charles in this amazing modern AU (without power) signed by Clock, on Ao3.
We dive into a sweet and fun story of love and friendship to read, marked by its spicy passages.
Anyway, here’s the link !
Do you guys think that the night Nina was born, Erik felt like peace could finally be an option ?
Like, he watched her sleep, her small hand wrapped around his finger and for a moment, the world felt gentle… It was the first time in such a long period that he felt fear for someone else than himself..
Only for everything to be destroyed years later, leaving him alone again…
Despite his intimidating appearance (blue fur, fangs, and all), Hank is a total softie when it comes to you. He’s always gentle, whether he’s giving you a hug, ruffling your hair, or helping you with a project.
His hugs are legendary—warm, furry, and incredibly comforting. You always feel safe when he’s around.
He’s also the first to notice when something’s wrong, even if you’re trying to hide it. “I can tell by the way you’re holding your shoulders,” he’ll say. “What’s bothering you?”
Hank is the person you turn to when life feels overwhelming. His calm, steady presence is like a lighthouse in a storm.
He’s not one to sugarcoat things, but he always delivers the truth with kindness. “Life is messy and complicated,” he’ll say, “but you’re stronger than you think.”
He’s also the first to remind you that it’s okay to not be okay. “Even the strongest materials have their breaking points,” he’ll say. “It’s not a weakness to ask for help.”
If you share Hank’s love of science, he’s the ultimate mentor. He’ll spend hours teaching you about genetics, quantum physics, or whatever else you’re interested in.
He’s patient and encouraging, never making you feel silly for asking questions. “Curiosity is the foundation of discovery,” he’ll say with a smile.
If you’re not into science, he’s still happy to share his knowledge—just in a way that’s accessible and fun. “Did you know that octopuses have three hearts?” he might say, trying to make you laugh.
If you have a bad day on the lab, like you’ve been working on a project for weeks, and nothing is going right. The experiment keeps failing, your equipment malfunctions, and you’re on the verge of tears. Hank finds you slumped over your desk, surrounded by scattered notes and broken glassware. He quietly sits beside you, his deep voice calm and reassuring. “Science is as much about failure as it is about success. Every mistake is a step closer to discovery.”
Hank offers to help you troubleshoot, and the two of you spend hours working together. His patience and encouragement remind you why you love science in the first place.
Before leaving, he hands you a cup of tea and says, “You’re brilliant, little sister. Don’t let one bad day convince you otherwise.”
I'm sorry for the person I'll become if Gotham Knights is renewed and The Winchesters is saved.
Thinking about Erik’s daughter Nina Górska’s life in a world where she left that forest alive, even if her mother did not. To escape the Polish authorities, she and her papa emigrate to Westchester and move into the mansion. She is quick to bond with Charles and her older siblings. She grows up at the school and develops an enjoyment of music, particularly singing, but her greatest passion is a natural result of her mutation, and she is determined to use her connection with animals to make a difference in the world. Her singing is like a beacon to the animals around her, and thus it only takes one viewing of Snow White to make her an ardent Disney Princess fan because she just gets it. With Charles gladly paying every cent, she eventually heads off to college for her degree in biology and music. She changes her legal surname to Lehnsherr to show her pride in being her father’s daughter, and most likely obtains American citizenship while never forgetting her Polish roots. She is fluent in Polish, English, German, Hebrew, and Yiddish. It is she who helps Charles to realize his power does indeed extend to animals, thus they enjoy having three-way conversations with dogs and horses. Her mutation gives her unprecedented influence over the animal rights movement and she becomes an icon of zoological studies and veterinary practices, traveling the world decreasing poaching, encouraging vegetarian diets, creating new habitats, and saving multiple species from extinction, quite possibly reaching a global level of fame in the process. She becomes close friends with figures like Jane Goodall, to whom she is held in equal public regard, and Koko. Eventually in her travels, she meets a fellow activist who just may be a mutant as well, and they happily marry and have daughters (one of whom is named after Magda) to whom she sings the bedtime lullaby that her papa sang to her. I doubt she’s one of the actual X-Men; her powers aren’t very combat-worthy and she’s not interested in a violent lifestyle. But if ever trouble arises, she is quick to rally an army of the nearest birds and critters to protect her loved ones. Peter, Wanda, and Lorna insist she have a unique and proper mutant name of her own, team member or not, and so she becomes known as Fauna.
Let’s grip these shows tight and raise them from perdition. #SaveTheWinchesters #RenewGothamKnights
