You and Slash laid on the floor of the tiny apartment belly laughing and guzzling down bottles of Jack. Duff sat on the couch and Steven was busy dancing to “Walk This Way” by Aerosmith that was blaring from the radio. Izzy was sitting there too just watching everyone and Axl had gone to his room a long time ago he said he needed rest for the show tomorrow night. You weren’t really sure what time it was but it was definitely late. You didn’t care though you were having to much fun hanging out with Slash. Slash had been your best friend since you moved to LA. It was like an instant connection. You were best friends but deep down you were in love with him but to scared to admit it to him. The radio was now super loud and Steven was trying to snake dance like Axl but failing miserably which made it even funnier you Slash were cackling on the floor now. Suddenly an angry Axl stormed out of his room “GODDAMNIT CAN YOU KEEP IT DOWN I NEED TO REST FOR TOMORROW” Axl yelled. “Sorry ax we know you need your beauty sleep” Slash sarcastically said and then started giggling. “Yeah sorry princess” you answered back. You and Slash were now super close to each other dying laughing. Axl didn’t think you guys were as funny and flipped you off and walked down the hallway and slammed the door to his room. “I Remember You” by Skid Row was now playing on the radio “Yo turn it up I love this one” Duff said. “No way man way to mushy for me” Slash said back. “Come on Slash don’t act like you’ve never been in love before” Duff retorted back. This conversation made you very nervous because you loved Slash, he just didn’t know it. “What about you y/n you ever been in love?” Duff asked you casually taking a sip of vodka. “I- um” you hesitated and looked at Slash who’s beautiful brown eyes were staring right you. “ I don’t know Duff that’s a really deep question for this late” you said laughing it off. It got quiet for a few mins. Izzy had got up to go to bed and Steven was now sitting on the couch. “ I don’t know man I used to think Steven’s mom was fine though” Slash said. Duff and you both burst laughing. “The fuck did you just say Slash” Steven said standing up and pretending to kick Slash in the balls. “What man she was” Slash said laughing even harder now. “Your the worst” Steven said even laughing a little too now. A few mins later Steven was passed out on the bed and Duff had left to go to his room for the night. And so here you were just you and Slash on the floor of a crummy apartment staring up at the ceiling. “Can I ask you something?” Slash said. “Of course dude what’s up” you said. “Have you ever had feelings for a friend?” Slash asked. Welp you were screwed now was a good as time as any to tell him. But before you could speak Slash started talking again. “That was stupid to say but anyway I have been in love before” Slash said “Oh yeah with who?” You said trying to brace yourself. “With you” Slash said.
