HEADCANONING TIME WWOOOOO

I like to think that ALMOST all of the toons just think they’re just playing a game of tag while collecting ichor like it’s a “capture the flag” thing. It’s in their blood (or ichor) to just be a bunch of childish and playful creatures, they are MADE for kids so it’s not really out of character of them to NOT think that twisteds are dangerous let alone kill them which cause them to see things differently (literally)

(still talking about this👆) If you start the game at first it’s all bright and colorful like something you would see out of a kid’s show, there’s happy music playing in the background all fun and games! Until you get hit by a twisted and lose a heart. Thats when the reality kicks in. Music stops as the colors slowly go back to the sad reality of an abandoned studio/daycare. These twisteds weren’t playing.. they were trying to kill you. This effect is irreversible even if you go back to full health. The shine in their eyes are gone. They aren’t laughing anymore, this isn’t funny. They’re scared.

(Note to self, each toon will have a traumatized look on their face after getting injured and will stay traumatized even after being healed+also applies to a toon when they witness a death of another toon)

I like to think that the twisted are like a “Failed” version of a toon, a toon that wasn’t the exact replica of itself so, it was locked away in the underground as it contorts into it’s biggest flaw(s) might design the twisteds if I feel like it.

If a toon witnessed another toon getting hit they’ll still be oblivious but concerned for their fellow friend

The twisteds prob growls and snarls due to their throats being filled with nothing but ichor, constantly leaking from their mouths as they try to kill you out of jealousy that YOU don’t get to be thrown away like a broken toy and instead cherished by children while they were called a mistake and now you’re going to experience the same pain they went through.

on a lighter note, the toons stole the clothes they’re wearing from the lost and found shortly after being abandoned and threw away their old clothes.

dandy needs those tapes so he doesn’t turn into a twisted. He wants to protect his friends from himself.

Ichor while being dangerous can be used to bring back a dead toon, only dandy knows this. Fortunately (or unfortunately) the toon doesn’t remember how they died after being revived

All toons are asexual. (Gets booed off the stage)

Do you think toons are desperate for interactions after being abandoned for god knows how long.

Astro, Vee and Shelly are the ones who don’t have the “fake reality” sight going on and knows that they’re actually in danger although for Shelly she’s sorta in denial (and ig Teagan and Rodger too? But the both of them just thinks that the twisteds aren’t really that dangerous and thought they wont kill their fellow toons)

My children need basic needs such as milk and food. I currently live in a tent after I lost my home due to the occupation and I cannot tell you what life is like there. It is like hell. hc that toons with glass or glass-adjacent body features (so primarily Glisten, Rodger, and Finn) are prone to literal stress fractures; in this case, the cracks don't cause any actual damage to them and are merely a physical indicator of serious stress

Teagan, Gigi, and Bobette may also be liable to stress fracturing, being that:

- Teagan seems to be a ceramic teacup

- i think that Gigi's head-capsule is made of plastic, not glass, hence why it's less transparent than Rodger's face

- Bobette may be made of glass or some other similarly fragile material

but this just means they're less likely to get them

i feel like Finn doesn't get them often because he's a usually chill guy (and he's also reinforced glass, being a fishbowl), but he's also entirely made of glass, so they can form literally anywhere on his body

Glisten absolutely hates it when he gets stress fractures because it's a display of imperfection-- he's not supposed to be stressed out to the point of cracking, and they totally ruin his look and make everybody concerned about him and he doesn't need the other Toons worrying about him because he's fine, nothing's wrong, he is perfectly fucking okay no matter that the stupid cracks in his face suggest otherwise (he needs therapy)

Rodger... doesn't sleep enough. and also drinks too much coffee. and also has an 8 year old daughter. so that should be self-explanatory

here's some other psychosomatic responses for Toons i thought of!!!

- All toons become duller in color when depressed or sick, and especially so when they have ichor poisoning (an excess of corrupted ichor in their system but not enough to cause twisting)

- Boxten's music becomes offkey when he's seriously stressed out (more than just his usual anxiety)

- Brightney's light starts flickering more often when she's anxious or very annoyed

- Looey deflates a little and his ears and tail droop when sad/depressed

- Goob and Rudie shed a lot when they're stressed

- Shelly gets cracks in her shell, similar to stress fractures but with far, FAR less occurrence-- she has to be in distress for days for them to appear

- Sprout's leaves and Dandy's petals wilt when they're sad/depressed

- Vee tends to overheat and get all staticky when irritated or severely stressed out, and also suffers from a whole host of mechanical issues when dealing with any kind of serious mental problems (she does not, however, get stress fractures despite having a glass face because she isn't exactly organic per se)

- Cosmo's and Ginger's healing abilities will start tasting weird when they're stressed

and there's probably other things i could add but nothing else comes to mind

There was a question about how you feel about Teagan (as a regular character and a character in gameplay) and do you have any headcanons for her? I have a pretty good relationship with her, but the experience of going through her was difficult, since I often died for her, because I could not collect the required amount of tapes to heal myself, or I was often simply attacked by twisteds. Because of this, every time I was ready to write a whole monologue of hatred from AM in the chat during the game. (I'd like to see teagan drawings, but if you don't want to, you don't have to, end sorry for English,not my first language,use google translate)

GAMEPLAY WISE?? i dont own her so ive never played her and somehow ive Never gotten into a game with a teagan player so… idk how she works BUT THAT SOUNDS INSANE? it reminds me of sprout players trying to get tapes to heal and Everyone being stingy MOVE LET TEAGAN AND SPROUT PLAYERS DO THEIR JOB!!!! /j
