Mimic When I Fucking Get Him!!!!!!!!

Okay, I've done some thinking.

To be clear, I hate predictions, I hate trying to suss out what's going to happen, I prefer to wait and see.

So...

Mimic is what Whisper could become.

This is the creator saying so herself.

We know this. So, Whisper might - might - become exactly what Mimic is, dead inside. Violent, with zero problems killing people. Manipulative and a liar.

What if that's what's going to happen with Whisper? That this is it - the revelation that it's never going to stop, that he's going to keep coming, that he's going to infiltrate again and again and again - and what if Whisper is terrified of how close they came to dying?

Mimic might have killed someone at any time. Who knows why he didn't. So now, there's only one option - Mimic has to die.

Driven by what she thinks is needed to do, she's going to go down dark places. She's already keeping secrets from Tangle. Whisper knows that Tangle will never agree to killing Mimic, so Whisper is just letting Tangle go along with what she wants to believe in.

After all, if something bad happens to Tangle, Whisper would never forgive herself.

When she tries to kill Mimic, and Mimic might even fake his death, will that be too much for Tangle? Will Whisper end up alone, unable to trust, unable to accept the possibility that Mimic is dead, constantly hunting for someone who is long gone?

And she'll push on, and anyone who tries to talk her down is just a naive idiot who'll get themselves killed by Mimic, meaning that - finally - Whisper becomes Mimic. Alone. Cynical. Poisioned by her grief and fear to push everyone away, and unable to trust even for a moment.

Heh. Who knows? IDW has pulled the hero becomes the villain arc before.

After being somewhat suplexed into the ground by Knuckles, Shadow can't help but get flustered and embarrassed around Knuckles now cuz he thinks Knucks is really cool now (he's never gonna admit that tho)

And Mimic continues to be manipulative! He’s trying to get Lanolin to cast doubt on Tangle and Whisper! Her own teammates! The sheep is already boiling mad from the Phantom Rider’s interferences, and this is making things worse. The problem is, Tanlge and Whisper are hiding the truth from Lanolin. They know Sonic is the Phantom Rider, but they also know there has to be a reason for it. But with the way things are going, there’s no way Lanolin would hear them out.

I wonder if this will begin to make Tangle question Duo a bit. The dude did just point fingers at them.
