Why is the sketch that was done on a scrap bit of paper with no reference and a blunt pencil so majestic compared to the 3 hour drawing with a mechanical pencil in a fancy sketchbook.

I'm a binge watcher but when I get close to the end of something I really like I have to force myself to really space out the last few episodes because I don't want it to end (I did this with the last season of being human)
