Alastor and Lucifer are show creator Vivienne Medrano's two favorite characters.

The original pilot of Hazbin Hotel was released on Oct 28, 2019, AKA the show creator's birthday!

Show creator, Vivienne Medrano, designed the character "Alastor" when she was in high school, and was the first character in the Hazbin cast to be created.

Husk was originally designed by show creator Vivienne Medrano's younger sibling, who conceived the character as a winged cat. Then gifted him to as a character to Viv!

Many of the character designs in Hazbin Hotel are inspired by animals!

Alastor's voice was inspired by the "Annie" London cast recording of the song "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile."

Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss take place within the same universe...also known as the "Hellaverse"!

The original pilot of Hazbin Hotel took 3 months to write and two years to animate!

Charlie's demeanor was heavily inspired by Park And Rec's Leslie Knope!
