I know this is a terrible thing to say but I would give anything to see this like, as a bystander and not someone who's lost a loved one. Can you imagine

Chapter XXXI

By the time they got home, the sky was already dark. They climbed the few steps to the porch; Percy opened the car door for Nico, helping him out of the Jeep, and once again, Percy led him from behind, as though he didn't know the way, like he would run away if Percy took his eyes off him. Maybe Nico was tempted to do just that, maybe tonight had been a bit too much for his confused mind. In the end, he let himself go, let Percy open the door to the house, take the blazer from his shoulders and hold his hand, just like Percy would do on any other day. But unlike what was usual for them, Percy kept walking and Nico continued to follow him like a puppy on a leash. He yawned and followed him up the stairs, turning right and then entering a long hallway that led to the same room where he had slept every other time; next to Percy's room and further away from the children's rooms.

That's when Nico wondered what he was doing there, or why Percy came in with him and opened the closet door, showing him the clothes hanging there.

"If you want to change. The clothes you were wearing are here.”

He took out a hanger with a pair of jeans and a dark t-shirt and Nico finally understood, someone had washed his clothes.

"You didn't have to.”

“Yeah, I didn’t have to.” Was all Percy said, his eyes intense on him. Nico hated it when Percy did that. Why was it so hard to look at him in those moments?

Yes, that was exactly why he lowered his head and pretended that there was some dirt on his Italian shoes and pretended he had no idea how much they cost. He bent down and undid the lace, then did the same with the other foot and took off his sock. Okay, he had to change, right? Take a shower first? He decided to start with the buttons on the light-colored shirt and reached his hands down to the soft fabric. He pressed and the first button slid away from the hole, he pressed the second and then the third, before he saw that there were no more buttons and only his pants were left. He unbuttoned the last button and pulled down the zipper and--

"What are you doing?" Percy questioned him, stopping his hands in the air. He didn't have the courage to look him in the face, so Nico kept staring at Percy's broad shoulders.

"What does it look like I'm doing?”

"Asking for sex?”

"I'm changing. Can I take a shower?”

"Nico, I didn't-- this wasn't how I expected the night to end.”

“And what did you expected?” He found himself laughing even though he didn’t find it funny. Percy never knew how to apologize.

"I'm sorry, okay! What do you want me to do? Can you look at me?”

No, he couldn't. If he did that, the moment he looked at Percy he would be tempted to try to comfort him.

"I forgive you." Nico murmured, fixing his gaze on the right side of Percy's neck, watching how his throat bobbed, how Percy looked nervous and frustrated, his hand clenched into a fist at his side. It was strangely amusing to see him so out of control, knowing that Percy felt the same way he did. In the end, Jason was right, he wanted every single person who made him suffer to suffer the same and in the same way.

"Nico, please." Percy begged, his voice almost tearful.

He sighed and stared at him, bracing himself. Nico knew what he was going to find, even when the man looked defeated and vulnerable, Percy still found ways to manipulate the situation. And he fell once more, it was inevitable, irresistible. Nico brought his hands to Percy's face and got closer, a force pulling him towards him and making him hug him by the neck, ending up with his mouth against his neck, close to Percy's ear.

"It wasn't your fault. I know you didn't mean for that to happen. It's okay.”

“You promise?” Percy murmured back, very close. His arms wrapped around Nico’s waist and his lips whispered against his earlobe.

He had fallen right in, hadn't he? Still, knowing all this, Nico sighed once more, shivering as the heat slowly crept up his back, waist, and groin, stopping where Percy's mouth met his skin.

"Will you forgive me? I promise…" Then, Percy held him tight against him and a moan escaped him. "I promise this won't happen again." Percy finished with his face buried against the hair on the back of Nico's neck.

That... that wasn't fair... why... why was it so easy for Percy? Why was it so easy to forget everything and let himself go like that when, even with Will back then when he treated him well, Nico never had that urge that was slowly destroying him?

"Nico…" Then, an almost innocent little kiss was placed against his neck, in that little part behind his ear that made him… ah… "Are you going to visit me?”

"I-I…" He stuttered, still stuck in a trance. "I… I can't… you have to--”

"I don’t have to do anything." Percy said it decisively, but at that moment it sounded like the sweetest love poem. "I can wait for you.”

"Percy, I don't…”

"Don't what? Don't want to deceive me? Hurt me?" Percy pulled away slightly and grabbed Nico's hair, making him look at him. "Do you want to be sure? Do you want to have other experiences? See if someone else can make you feel the way I do? I don't care about any of that.”

"I couldn't.”

"Baby, you're the only one for me. So beautiful and so perfect. I love your smell, and when you moan I want to hold you and never let go. I want you to be happy. But only with me.”

"Percy…" he whimpered, closing his eyes. Why was Percy doing this to him?

"It's quite simple. I want you to live and make all the mistakes a college student could make. When we meet again, don't ignore me. If you've changed your mind by then, I'll do everything I can to win you over, but if you don't want me, I won't bother you.”

"How could I ask for something like that?”

"I also need some time to sort things out." Percy smiled at Nico and stroked his hair, lulling him into that false sense of security. "Things with Annabeth don't seem to be going anywhere and I'm tired of my parents. I promise you this, when we see each other again everything will be better. Do you trust me?”

"I trust you.”

"So I want you to have fun and not regret anything.”

Percy kissed Nico's cheek and he finally relaxed, as if the weight of the world had been lifted off his shoulders.

***

Percy kissed Nico's cheek and he finally relaxed, as if the weight of the world had been lifted off his shoulders.

Yes, he felt light because Percy was holding him, keeping him safe.

“Oh!” Nico couldn't help the moan that escaped his lips; Percy's hands moved up his back, caressing slowly and entered inside his open shirt, eliciting another moan from him. Percy's lips slid to the side and then, they were there, at the corner of his mouth, kissing and nibbling and-- No! He knew exactly what Percy was doing! Percy wanted him to lower his head, to agree with everything while Percy had his fun. Percy wanted him to wait until the man felt the urge to see him again. He refused to let another man manipulate him, even if it was through the best torture tactic.

"No, I can't do that." Nico said, letting go of Percy. He took a step back and a deep breath, and said more forcefully: "I won't! Do you think I'm going to stay quiet while you do whatever you want?”

"Nico, I said you can--”

"You don't own me! I don't need your permission!”

"Nico, of course not. I'm just asking for a chance to work things out.”

"I don't want-- I never wanted… you… you're just like all of them!”

Percy didn't seem to hear him. Percy took a step forward and he took another step back, then another and another until his back hit the wall. The strange thing was that Percy didn't do what Nico imagined, not like Will usually did, cornering him and making him feel suffocated. No, Percy took his hands and tried to smile, but it was such a shaky smile that Nico found himself stopping fighting Percy.

"It's okay, baby. Can you breathe with me?”

"Breathe?" He asked without understanding.

"Please.”

Percy looked on the verge of tears, so he complied. Nico took a deep breath and let it out, slow and easy, and only then did he realize how tense he was, and he calmed down immediately.

"I… I was having a panic attack?" Nico asked. Percy nodded and tried to smile at him again.

The interesting thing was to realize that Nico didn't feel bad like he usually did. No, Nico felt light and calm. That's why he didn't fight this time, he let Percy take him to the bed and help him put on sweatpants, a loose t-shirt came next and socks too. Percy dressed him, item by item, and he found himself lying against the bed frame, his head resting on Percy's shoulder and a movie playing on the television in front of the bed. He knew Percy was saying something, that his head was resting on his, that his big, warm hands were massaging the back of his neck in a pleasant way that made him want to sleep instantly.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I never meant to make you feel this way. I'm the worst of men. I'm so impulsive. Annabeth's right, I'll never... I'll never be able to--”

"Der?" Nico found himself mumbling. His head was too light to understand what was happening. He just wanted Percy to feel what he felt right now.

"Are you okay?" Percy said in the same miserable tone.

"Hmm. Sleep with me." Nico crawled down on the bed and rested his head on Percy's chest, under his heart. His hands found Percy's waist and Nico closed his eyes once more, feeling himself melt. Nico loved the way Percy smelled, the way Percy always seemed to run hotter than him, most of all, he loved those rare moments when Percy showed that vulnerability, that uncertainty, usually so well hidden.

"Nico, I need--”

"Tomorrow. Tomorrow you can say whatever you want. Today, we sleep.”

Nico closed his eyes one last time and sighed, soon he could hear nothing but the sound of Percy's heart slowing down.

Chapter XXXII

That was another morning where everything seemed like a distant and fantastical dream. The light entered weakly between the blinds, birds sang softly and Nico felt himself floating, comfortable, being hugged from behind, very tightly, in the way he would never admit he liked the most; it was Percy who breathed against his neck, while the blanket kept the cold away, giving a greater touch of illusion.

So this was it, right? This was what he could have if he chose to… what?… Stay? Wait for Percy? No, this was the goodbye, sweet and treacherous, giving Nico a taste he knew he couldn’t have.

“Are you awake?” Percy murmured softly against his earlobe, brushing his lips over the sensitive skin.

Nico took a deep breath for a moment, feeling himself go from zero to one hundred, and let it out slowly. It wasn't fair. Maybe he had moaned, or maybe it had been Percy; it was hard to tell when Percy was so close to him, pressed against his back, the thin clothing between them not stopping Nico from feeling all of his desire, so close together, in that almost too intimate way, even their breaths came out synchronized, fast, almost panting, almost...

"Now, I am." He then murmured, trying to control himself.

“Good,” Percy told him, his sleep-husky voice telling him everything he needed to know. Percy was never satisfied. A kiss would never be enough, a touch would do little to quell his restlessness, and the shiver that ran up Nico’s spine even less so, none of it would make him happy until… No, Percy needed to hear it, needed to taste the pleasure against his skin and experience… oh… experience his hands moving down Nico’s shoulder and down to his abdomen and…

"Percy." He warned, panting but holding his ground like Nico rarely did. Even if he felt Percy was as anxious as he was or if he wanted, perhaps more than Percy, for this between them to happen, this damn torture would finally end.

“I wanted to apologize,” Percy said again, as if nothing had happened mere seconds ago. “I never meant to put you in this position.”

"I know." Nico sighed, exhausted and anxious. Excited. He turned, relaxing, and looked into the eyes he loved to watch so much.

But this was the end, the farewell, and for that reason, only for that reason, he allowed himself to have what he wanted; he let his body lean against Percy's, molding them together like a puzzle that was finally complete, once again trying to fool himself, wishing he didn't know that all of this was wrong; only if Percy really insisted, forced him just a little more and they both let the blame fall on Percy, just this once, giving him that false reason and allowing his rationalization to convince himself that all of this was Percy's fault and never his own, so Nico could finally, finally...

"Nico. Matt. Teo. I think I like Teo more." Percy was smiling, that small, genuine smile that somehow always broke his heart and made him want to stay by his side for the rest of his life.

Percy touched his face and then everything self-destructed, a house of cards crumbling, that smile squeezing his heart, making juice out of what was left.

"You're horrible. I hate you." But even that sounded false.

"I love you too." Percy said. A whisper, a confession. Something that seemed true in that intimate stillness translated into the form of a caress, in the touch of Percy's fingers that intertwined in his hair and of his lips, wet and firm, that finally touched his.

It wasn't at all what Nico expected, this attitude didn't seem to come from the one who spent the last two months chasing him until he couldn't think of anything else. No, they were the most gentle and careful that Nico had ever tasted; sweet and soft kisses, pressed against his in a way so light that he didn't know it existed, brushing slowly and nibbling them just to make him sigh, encouraging him to open his mouth so they became even slower, slowing down their cadence and stopping, but keeping their lips glued together.

Percy didn't try to force anything more intense or try to ease the situation, as was his custom. Percy just kept smiling and stroking his hair, looking at him with such affection that Nico had no choice but to stare back. There was no safe place he could hide from this fact; he loved Percy Jackson and he was leaving him before that feeling could even finish blooming.

That was how his last morning at the Jackson-Chase house ended, with a cuddle, a kiss and a tight hug, Percy's hands massaging his hair and lulling him into that false sense of security until the time for lunch with the family approached, taking Percy away from Nico, leaving him frozen in a desert he had never felt before meeting Percy.

But it was all right, he thought, wiping away the tears that were falling, the last ones that would fall because of him. Nico finished putting on his clothes, fixed his hair and washed his face. He picked up his backpack that had been lying on the floor since the day before and left Percy's room, entering the room where he had stayed during those nights to finally pick up his clothes scattered on the floor, returning the ones he had borrowed and going down the stairs where the children and Annabeth were waiting for him.

***

“Can’t you stay a little longer?” Alice said, catching him off guard. She rarely asked for anything, so independent and unaffectionate, but always attentive.

"It's getting late. I need to wake up early. You understand, don't you?" Nico touched her long black hair and looked into her green eyes that were now filled with tears. "You can visit me whenever you want.”

"It won’t be the same. We won’t eat together or watch TV anymore. Dad will be sad and Logan will whine for a whole month.”

"Don't be like that. Everything will be fine. It's part of growing up. Not everything goes the way we want.”

"Grandma keeps saying that. You two look so much alike.”

Nico smiled at Alice and ran his fingers through her hair, very doubtful.

"Don't you trust me? You can visit me as soon as I'm done moving.”

"Do you promise?" She looked at Nico with her eyes wide open and wet, all tearful, in the perfect example of innocence.

Yeah, it seemed like the whole family had manipulation in their blood. Which made him smile even more.

“I promise.”

He reached down and hugged Alice tightly, feeling her squeeze him back with all the strength she had.

"Enough." Annabeth's voice reached them, she was walking in her high, thin heels, strutting elegantly. She was carrying a sullen Logan, while Percy followed them at a safe distance, looking at his own shoes and seemingly oblivious to everything that was happening around him. That was what had happened during lunch; Percy had been by his side and, at the same time, had been somewhere far away from him.

"Come on, say goodbye to Nico. He has to go.”

"I'll miss you. Don't forget your promise." Alice told him, now looking like a clone of her mother.

Alice gave Nico another tight hug and pulled away, forcing Nico to blink his eyes, his throat suddenly tight. No, he said he wouldn't cry anymore. But then Logan reached out and, still in Annabeth's lap, wrapped his small hands around Nico's neck and sobbed.

"Logan, don't do this. I'm going to live even closer, isn't that good?”

"No! You won't be our mother anymore!”

"Er… when was I your mother? Isn't she right here?" Nico looked at Annabeth and she just rolled her eyes impatiently. It seemed like he was the one who was most uncomfortable with this whole conversation. So what came next was what really ripped his heart out of his chest.

"You… you don’t have to go… you can be our second mother and no one has to leave.”

This time even Annabeth gasped, and Nico found himself frozen in front of the exit door.

"Honey, Nico isn’t leaving because of you." The implication of whose fault it was was pretty obvious. But even so, Percy said it all calmly and softly as he moved closer to Logan, trying to comfort him.

"So… so… he’s leaving because of you!" Logan practically shouted.

Nico felt like he was losing his breath, although it was different from other times. Percy was calm, while Annabeth didn't seem to know what to do. Relieved, he saw Percy pick Logan up and simply start rocking him, massaging his back and lulling him slowly. He didn't think he had ever seen Logan, much less Percy, act like this; Percy seemed to be on autopilot and Logan turned into this rebellious teenager right before his eyes.

“Say goodbye, Logan,” Percy murmured in that soft, gentle voice, and finally looked at Nico.

"I’m sorry, Nico. Dad’s right. I…" he gasped as a sob escaped, trying to smile. "… we’ll miss you.”

At that, Logan and Alice waved as Percy tried to smile. Percy turned with Logan in his arms, grabbed Alice's hand, and marched into the house, not turning back until he was gone down the hallway.

Silence, only silence remained and a strange tightness in his chest, an unfamiliar vacuum, a feeling of emptiness like he had never experienced before. And of course, Annabeth. She still watched everything silently, but she didn't mock; Annabeth didn't even seem happy now that the obstacle had been removed. She seemed as shocked as he was.

“I know this won’t fix things.” She held out a small velvet box to him, and Nico accepted it. “It’s a gift from me and Percy to show our gratitude.”

He opened the box and found a silver and gold watch, delicate but still masculine. Nico had no idea how much it cost.

"Thank you. You didn't need to." He said mechanically. There was no room for anything else.

"I hope you can keep in touch with the children.”

"Of course." Nico felt better talking about them. "I was serious.”

He took the bag from his shoulders, unzipped it and took out a piece of paper. With a pen he wrote down his phone number and handed it to her.

"It’s better if you call me? I should be ready in three days. If they want…”

"Of course." Annabeth smiled at Nico and accepted the note. All he could do was nod quickly and turn his back on her. The faster he got out of there, the less he would be tempted to change his mind. The good news was that Ethan was already waiting for him, he would take him to the exit for the last time towards his future.

Bonus

I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. I wished I didn't have to do this. Why couldn't I just hop on a bus and go to my interview with the college dean? But no, first I had to be a good boy and say goodbye to my family. But who was making me, hmm? Was there a force pushing me and keeping me in place? What if I--

"Look who showed up.”

Now it was too late. The one who opened the door was Hades. He had his arms crossed and was looking down at me, his almost two meters of height and eyes as black as night judging me as always, disappointed with what they saw.

"Yeah, I'm going to college tomorrow. I thought I'd pay a visit.”

"At least you still have responsibility to your family.”

Hm, interesting. But that was all we both said. I looked at Hades and Hades looked at me. That is, until he stepped away from the door, allowing me to see my brothers who were right there, hidden behind Hades. When they saw me, Bianca and Hazel came running and hugged me tightly at once, knocking the air out of my lungs.

"You came!" Hazel said.

"Finally." Bianca murmured more restrainedly.

"Come in. The food will get cold.”

And so, I was pulled into the house, where Maria and Luke were waiting for me with open arms.

Hello, how are you? We've finally reached the end of the first story arc! I'm going to take a break for two or three weeks, and we'll be back with the second arc soon. While we rest, how about leaving a comment? It could be the chapters you liked best, a specific scene or a comment or suggestion about the characters. Your opinion is always very welcome.

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME - PERCY/NICO AU HIGH SCHOOL - CHAPTER XXI

Hi, guys. How are you doing? I had a bit of a burnout this week, but a promise is a promise. If I don't show up next week, it's because I'm sick and completely drained. I hope you like it.

CHAPTER I / CHAPTER II / CHAPTER III / CHAPTER IV / CHAPTER V / CHAPTER VI / CHAPTER VII / CHAPTER VIII / CHAPTER IX / CHAPTER X / CHAPTER XI / CHAPTER XII / CHAPTER XIII / CHAPTER XIV / CHAPTER XV / CHAPTER XVI / CHAPTER XVII / CHAPTER XVIII / CHAPTER XIX / CHAPTER XX

“I love you too.”

Percy continued to hold Nico against his chest and only moved when he was sure that Nico would no longer hate him. He leaned back against the couch and brought Nico with him, touching him gently

For a moment, in the silence of the living room, where all he could hear was Nico's heavy breathing slowing down, Percy thought that things between them would return to their normal and that Nico would finally be satisfied. Imagine his surprise when he felt Nico moving on his lap in a very specific way, rubbing against him, making him lose his breath when he felt small hands touch between his legs over his pants, a touch so gentle that it made him gasp, the sweet torture reminding him of his erection.

“Do you want to…?” He heard Nico say, the uncertainty in his voice clear, although that didn't stop Nico. Because, right after, he felt Nico's hands continue to explore the area, sliding up and down,  drawing a tortured moan from him.

“You don't have to.” He mumbled, or thought he had. In those moments it was hard to tell what was real and what was a creation of his mind.

“I know you're... trying to treat me with respect, but... is that necessary? Wasn't it because of sex that we... fell apart?”

The insinuation was clear, and with each passing day Percy saw how much the unspoken words made the distance between them grow.

“Do you think that's why I like you?”

“Well... you always say I'm pretty.” Nico said in a lower voice, as if he expected not to be heard. It was at that moment when Nico hesitated that Percy remembered to take his eyes off what Nico was doing between his legs and pay attention to what Nico was saying. What caught his attention was the blank expression on Nico's face, the distracted way he touched him, like Nico was trying to hide something behind the mask of indifference. “Isn't that why you looked for other people when I was right in front of you? For thinking I was... pure?”

“Nico. That doesn't make sense! I wouldn't do that again.” When would he have time to do that? Between his depression and the mountain of work and studying?

“Wouldn't you?” Nico then raised his head and looked at him, without any kind of judgment in his voice, but that still made Percy feel very judged. — “What I have to do so you don't ignore me?”

“I'm not ignoring you!” Like, he didn't think he was. Right? Didn't they spend all day together? How could Percy ignore someone who was right next to him?

“When was the last time you did something you wanted?”

“I... we went to that party last week?”

“Percy.” Now Nico looked like he was about to cry. “When was the last time you did something no one asked you to do? You say I'm not interested in things? You're not either. And now, you don't even want sex.”

“It's not your fault. It's not because you came back.”

“I'm starting to see that. But that doesn't make me any less guilty.”

"What do you want me to do? Everything I do is a mistake! It's better to keep things this way. If I do what people expect of me, I won't make mistakes."

"Percy!" Nico's scream echoed through the room, making him open his eyes wide.

With a dry throat, Percy watched Nico get up from his lap and kneel between his legs. With tears in his eyes, Nico rested his hands on Percy’s thighs and put his face in his lap, ready to start begging. "No one is asking you to be perfect!"

"I have to be!"

"I should have never come back! If I'm going to see you like this, it would have been better to go somewhere else. It would have hurt less. You can say whatever you want, It's my fault you're acting like this again."

"How could this be your fault?"

"I made you remember the past."

Nico was right about that. Percy was thinking about his childhood more often than usual. He had worked to get rid of it, and now that his memories were flooding back, it was hard to tell the difference between the person he used to be and the person he was now.

“Please,” Nico finally begged in the most miserable voice he had ever heard. “I don’t want you to hold yourself back because of me. I know you care about me, and I care about you. I just… I want to live these things with you. I want to wake up every day next to you, and I want to be with you every day, and I want you to have all the things you want, and I want… I want, um… you know… I don’t mind if you’re… not so kind in bed. I like it… really. I mean, you were never a saint, maybe a little vindictive, and also--”

“I’m glad you think that of me.” Percy said, and smiled sincerely for the first time in days, interrupting Nico. The boy wanted him to be honest and do what he wanted, didn’t he? “That’s not fair. And where does that leave you?”

“Me? I'll stay by your side.” Nico said and smiled back at him, still with his head on his lap, rubbing his face against him like a kitten. “I'd rather see you acting like the worst person in the world than see you turning into an empty shell.”

“Nico.” Percy leaned forward and grabbed Nico by the back of his neck, making him lift his head. “I don't want to take advantage of you. I feel like that's going to happen if we keep going like this.”

“What are you waiting for, then?”

“Nico!”

“There's nothing either of us can do. The damage is already done. Now, you have to take responsibility for what you did.”

“And what would that be?”

“You can start by taking me to the bedroom and taking off my clothes.”

“I'm not sure.”

“But I am.” Nico pouted cutely, and Percy found himself smiling again, watching Nico stretch toward him still kneeling and kiss him sweetly. “I can wait.”

When Nico spoke like that... so convincingly, Percy could almost see the reason behind it all. Although he didn't really understand. Who would want to be treated like Nico had been and still ask to continue suffering alongside someone like him? Percy would try one more time. If Nico had knelt at his feet and put his head in his lap like a pet, Percy could also try to be a good owner.

***

Honestly? Percy hadn't thought it would be so easy to surrender after so long fighting these urges. It was a magnificent sight to watch Nico get up from the floor. His pants still open, his hair messy and his lips swollen. Nico offered him his hand and Percy didn't hesitate, as he had promised, he went upstairs to their room. He sat on the edge of the bed and took off Nico's clothes. First, the skull t-shirt, then he pulled Nico's pants down, taking his underwear with him, his All-Stars and socks too, and finally allowed himself a moment to appreciate Nico's beauty.

In the end, what his baby had said was true. The first thing that had caught his attention in Nico was his natural beauty. Long eyelashes, deep black eyes, full mouth, soft skin, rounded hips, long legs, the sweetest voice even when angry and, above all, that well-behaved boyish appearance, always obeying what he was told. There were exceptions, of course, moments like these, where Nico would beg and be demanding, but not like Percy would. Never.

"What about now? How that leave us?" It was a rhetorical question, and they both knew it. Percy smiled and Nico moved closer, placing himself between his legs, holding onto his shoulders.

"Do you want to see something?" Nico asked, cheerful.

"It depends. Is it a surprise?"

"You could say that."

Nico smiled and ran towards the closet, coming back with a golden box with a lid on top.

"Did you buy it for me?"

"No, it's for me." Still smiling, Nico said and took off the lid revealing a nice collection of toys, only these toys were for adults. Three dildos of different sizes, a vibrating ball, handcuffs, nipple clamps and even a paddle. And lots of lube, at least three large tubes.

"Are you sure you haven't been having fun with someone?" He couldn't even blame Nico if that was the case.

"I don't want anyone else touching me but you. This is all your fault! Here I am, offering myself and saying that you can do whatever you want with me, and you having a crisis of conscience? I never thought something like this would happen.”

“Hey! I'm not that bad!”

“Right now, you’re not.”

“That's why I wanted to take it slow.”

“Sorry. I guess I've changed too. But if I knew, I would never have run away. At least, you didn't do the same thing I did.”

Yeah, Percy could imagine. Where would he run away to? To his father's house? To look at the face of his stepmother who hated him or deal with his stepbrother who stalked him when his mother wasn't looking? No way.

“I needed some time. I want to make sure that something like this won't happen again.”

“I know. I was safe in Verona. Hades isn't brave enough to face my nona. If she knew everything today, Hades wouldn't have a penny.”

“Why didn't you tell her?”

“It doesn't matter. She already spoils me too much.” But Nico said this with a smile on his face, seeming to remember happier times. “We don't have to do anything today. Or tomorrow. I want you to know that I'm here and that you don't need to feel guilty, because I've never blamed you for anything. Okay?”

Nico took the box from his hands and placed it on the bed, then sat on his lap, kissing Percy once more. And maybe... maybe it wouldn't be so bad to let himself go a little bit.

***

So… Percy found that he really liked that toy box Nico had put together. Especially the vibrating ball. It was the size of his thumb and was fluorescent pink, with a long string and a button in the middle. Really interesting. And since Nico had bought all those things, it would be a waste not to use them.

He grabbed the handcuffs, the lube and the ball, and well, there they were. Nico lying against the pillows, on his back on the bed and his hands tied above his head to the bed frame, while he was between Nico's legs, fully clothed. It was kind of funny. Percy had pressed the button on the ball and it had started vibrating immediately, making him laugh and say "You asked for it" and before Nico could complain, Percy brought the madly vibrating toy to Nico's legs, following the same path with his mouth. It seemed that Nico didn't know what to do, whether to laugh because of the vibration or to moan, bite marks, teeth brushing against his skin and lsucking lips in places that had never been marked before.

"What now? Should I stop?" Percy said in the most innocent voice, moving the ball up between Nico's legs, stopping at his groin before reaching the really sensitive parts.

"No! Please!"

"What do I get if I keep going?"

"Anything!"

"I don't know... it seems too generic."

"Um-- I... I suck you? Or..."

"Or?"

"Whatever you want."

"Really?"

"Hmhm." Nico sighed and gasped, because Percy was tired of playing.

He brought the little ball down and pressed it against Nico's member, and like in a magic trick, it had magically gone from semi-erect to hard so quickly that it must have hurt. Percy slid the vibrator along the base of the member and slowly moved up, reaching the tip and lingering there, pressing in small circles on the reddish head.

Percy couldn't believe his eyes, he pressed just a little more and suddenly, Nico was screaming, the small member throbbed in his hand and expelled faster than Percy could react. He removed the vibrator from Nico's member and watched Nico shake all over, breathing as if he had run a marathon. But he wanted more, Nico reacted so strongly to the vibrations that Percy wanted to see how long Nico could hold out.

He turned the toy back on, feeling it vibrate in his hand for a few moments and waited until Nico was not about to have an asthma attack, and slowly, like nothing was happening, placed the little ball on Nico's skin again, near his hip, going down his long legs.

All Nico did was gasp in surprise, still shaking, he didn't say anything or even move in protest, he just looked at Percy, his gaze half lost and half ecstatic, trusting Percy and allowing himself to feel, as if that was all he wanted to do. So Percy, like the gentleman he was, continued with his exploration. He went back up with the vibrator and reached Nico's groin once more, this time passing straight past his member and touching his testicles, watching Nico open his lips in a silent moan, his body shaking without his control. To Percy the whole experience seemed painful, the way Nico contracted and arched, the high-pitched moans, if it weren't for the expression of complete pleasure on Nico's face, he would think that... no... it was better not to think about it.

Percy concentrated on what he was doing and finally brought the vibrator lower, finding Nico's entrance, who let out a little moan so delicious that Percy wanted to make things even more interesting. But, no, that was enough. Then, he rubbed the ball around the entrance until it went in, disappearing inside Nico. Maybe he had overdone it, Nico opened his eyes wide and writhed, whimpering and panting, seeming like he had never done this before, and when Nico did nothing to stop him, Percy kept on exploring. He pulled the vibrator out by the string and pressed it back in, playing with the entrance, doing this so many times that the skin began to swell, like when you kissed someone for a long time and this was the result.

"Please!" Nico begged, twitching on the bed, back arched and head thrown back, looking like he was about to cum once again. And who was Percy to deny his sweet baby.

He pressed the ball in once more, making Nico shudder and this time, he pushed it in harder, inserting his fingers along with it, moving the vibrator around. Nico went crazy, he began to beg nonstop and held on to the bed frame, his toes curling. It was a magical moment for Percy. With two fingers, he took the ball a little deeper and pressed it into that little spot they both knew well. The reaction was immediate. Nico screamed at the top of his lungs and Percy was amazed. He had never seen Nico cum so fast and hard, making Nico's orgasm hit his chest.

"Good boy. So obedient." He said as he pulled the ball by the string, finally bringing it out. Nico fell onto the bed and sobbed, still finishing his orgasm with a strange expression caught between agony and ecstasy. Maybe he really had overdone it. Well, Percy would leave that up to Nico to decide, since he himself didn't know whether to run away, disgusted with himself, or try not to think about his erection at seeing Nico completely under his control like this.

How about a comment to cheer up this writer? See you next time.

AMOR DE BABÁ - Nico!Babá, Percy!Professor - Capítulo II

Olá, como vai? Mais um capítulo chegando. Nessa parte Nico e Percy vão se conhecer. Espero que vocês gostem!

CAPÍTULOS ANTERIORES: Capítulo I

— Nico.

Casa 4. Empregadora - Annabeth Grey.

— Posso falar com a senhora Annabeth Grey?

— Volte no próximo mês. Talvez no próximo ano, sim?

A agência me enviou aqui.

— Ah.

— Me deixe ver.

Não parecia ter sido um pedido.

— Claro.

Ana.

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME - PERCY/NICO AU HIGH SCHOOL - CHAPTER II

Hey, how's everyone doing? I wasn't going to post it so soon, but since I had some time over the weekend, here it is. I'm sorry if there are any mistakes.

Good reading!

Previous chapters: CHAPTER I

“How did you like the first lesson?” Percy had to ask, only to see the expression of annoyance cross Nico's face, something cute between a grimace and a purse of lips. He knew what the answer would be, but nothing could compare to seeing it all in person. No one could blame him if Nico had become a lot more expressive in recent years, as if the boy had given himself the right to feel and express himself however he wanted, without any kind of fear or hesitation.

"It was normal. I think. I'm a little behind, but nothing some reading can't fix." Nico shrugged and continued walking beside him, running his hands through his own hair and throwing it back, preventing it from falling into his eyes; long hair that seemed to shine in the sun, long and black, but not like he would in the past, it was a more expansive and relaxed gesture that Percy couldn't say how he could differentiate. In the end, Grover had to be right. He was obsessed. He always were.

"Hungry?”

"Not much.”

But even so, they walked through the cafeteria side by side, walking between the tables and benches until they reached the cafeteria counter Percy couldn't help but notice, it felt like they were being paraded, if only by the way people were looking at them; whether they were looks of admiration, envy or disgust, it was hard to tell them apart, he was too busy staring at the profile of Nico's face, especially when Nico brought his fingers to his mouth and bit them lightly, looking indecisive.

“What are you going to order?” Nico asked, finally looking up at him.

“A juice is fine. How about sharing a pie?” He knew that the one with vegetables and cheese was Nico's favorite.

And just to prove his point, Nico smiled and waved, ordering a milkshake for himself.

It was all so familiar that Percy felt his heart sink. Why did that hurt so much? Shouldn't he be happy to have his best friend back? Well, Nico seemed to be very happy with his milkshake and half of the vegetable pie now that they had found an unoccupied place to sit, a faint flush of happiness spread over his dark face, intensifying with every moment he continued to watch Nico eat.

"Aren't you going to eat? It's just as good as I remembered.”

“Nico.” Percy complained, frustrated.

"What is it?”

"Could you eat with less pleasure?"

Certain things never changed. Nico looked at him with his mouth around the straw and smiled, sucking the ice cream heartily. Percy just shook his head and looked away, taking the first bite. And Nico was right, the pie still tasted the same, the dough smooth and soft, the cheese melting in your mouth and the gratin crunchy on top. Since Nico had been gone, he hadn't had the heart to eat that pie, it brought back memories he preferred to leave behind.

“Per-cy.” Nico called out to him, practically humming, smiling, resting his head in his hands and blinking slowly at him, his bright black eyes distracting him for a moment.

“Hm?”

"Shouldn't you eat with your friends?"

"Why?”

“They're looking at us.”

Maybe it was true.

Percy shifted his gaze towards them quickly and returned his focus to Nico. They weren't important, even if he felt trouble looming for the simple reason that Annabeth was among them. Annabeth, Thalia, Luke, Grover, Chris and Clarice. All of his and Nico's old friends. And okay, maybe it wasn't right to keep Nico all to himself when he wasn't the only one who missed him.

"Do you want to talk to them?"

“Nah. Later. What I want to know is, who are you seeing?”

"What? I’m not--"

“Annabeth or Luke?”

"I’d never!” When Nico scowled unimpressed, Percy confessed, “Okay! We had a thing, but it's a thing of the past. I'm free as a bird.”

"Are you sure?”

"I promise.”

“Why don’t I believe you?” Then, Nico leaned back against the back of the bench and crossed his arms. "I'm not going to get a little surprise from your ex-boyfriends, am I?"

“Why would that happen?”

"The way things are looking…”

Percy couldn't pretend any longer, he smiled at Nico and leaned towards the boy, holding his hands and brought them to his own lips, kissing them for a long time: "I promise nothing will happen. I'm not that kind of man.”

“Hmm, I know. Am I supposed to know anything else?”

“I only have eyes for you, darling.”

That made the flush on Nico's cheeks come back in full force. Maybe it was because he was still holding Nico's hands or maybe it was because they were sitting side by side in the middle of all those people.

After that neither of them spoke again and no one approached them, which didn't affect them at all. They continued to eat and hold each other's hands until the bell rang, and they had to split up; Nico would go to history class and Percy to advanced math, and Percy like the perfect knight that he was, led Nico into the correct classroom, for a moment thinking about acting like the cliché Nico had accused him of being and kiss him right there where anyone could see. In the end, he decided to give him a long, tight hug before letting Nico into the classroom. The good news was that they would have their last class together, advanced physics.

***

Percy had barely set foot inside the room when a barrage of voices surrounded him. It seemed that everyone had something to say about the newly transferred Italian boy, as apparently, he was the only one who knew about Nico's return.

"I told you!" One of them said.

"Who would say.” Another commented with far less enthusiasm.

And Percy? Well, he didn't care what they had to say. He walked calmly to his desk, took his books out of his bag and looked straight ahead, like the model student he never was. What could Percy say? Daydreaming about Nico was far more pleasant than feeding more gossip.

"Dude! You can’t do this to me.” It was Grover, once again, who now sat beside him and put his hand on his shoulder, squeezing it and looking proud for some reason. It wasn't Grover's words that irritated him, it was his tone of voice; it was pure mockery. “You have to tell me everything.”

"And here I thought cheerleaders were gossips." Percy returned.

“Percy!”

“It’s alright.”

"It’s alright? Aren't you forgetting anything?”

"Like what?”

“Since when are you and Nico still speaking?”

“We always have been. Since the age of eleven.”

"But how! Was he not in Italy?”

"And?”

"Dude." This time who spoke was Luke who was nearby just listening. “I feel used.”

That was a joke! The boy with the biggest cheating record he had ever met, feeling used! And just because they had something quick during Nico's absence?

"I thought we had something special." But when Percy turned to Luke, his friend had a strange glint in his eyes and a smile like he was about to do something. "You know who wouldn't like to hear that?"

“Annabeth.” Grover completed for him, now much quieter so that only he and Luke could hear.

"What I have to do with it? She's not my girlfriend.”

"Are you sure about that? Annabeth doesn't seem to think the same.”

"That's her problem, not mine."

“Dude, this is going to be a problem. Don't say I didn't warn you.” Luke said and touched his arm, pretending to be understanding.

"How about you mind your own business?"

"If I were you, I'd be careful. I remember how helpless little Nico used to be. And nobody wants that to happen again.”

Percy looked closely at Luke, trying to decide if this was a threat or if it was a reminder of what Annabeth was capable of to get what she wanted. In the end, he decided it was just a warning, because in the past Luke had been one of the few people to defend Nico when he couldn't. He just hoped the past wouldn't repeat itself.

***

Nico felt he should’ve done the rational thing and left after the music club was over, like any normal person would do. But there he was, walking through the now empty halls with his guitar and backpack in hand, heading towards the uncovered court that was further down the far end of the school's grounds. Wasn't he the perfect cliché? The new kid going to meet the cute and popular boy after school just because that same cute boy asked him to. Now it was too late. He’d already crossed the entire school and was sitting in the stands, putting the guitar into his lap while he strummed some loose notes. He was an idiot, he had avoided this kind of gesture for so long only to fall into his own trap without even realizing it.

What could he do but let things roll and see where they went? He shrugged and took a pen and notebook out of his bag, jotting down notes and possible melodies. It didn't take long, soon he heard the noise of a ball hitting the ground and footsteps running close to where he was sitting. He looked up and there was Percy, bouncing the ball down and looking up at him, his smile almost reaching his ears, as if the most wonderful thing was happening just because Nico was there. That was why he couldn't say no to Percy, how could he when someone smiled at him like that?

“Nico.” Percy said, as if tasting the name on his lips like the tastiest candy. "Another ten minutes? It’ll be fast.”

Nico shrugged and tried not to meet Percy's eyes, knowing his face had to be hotter than a pepper, preferring instead to enjoy his bare, defined shoulders and arms.

“Okay, I'm not in a hurry.”

"I can see.”

In the end, Nico had to finally face Percy. There was something in his voice that made Nico want to pay closer attention.

“What?”

“Are you writing a song?”

"I think so.” Without realizing it, he had even written a few words to accompany the melody.

"It’s about me?”

"Could be.”

How sincere of him. This could only be a habit, it was so normal for Nico to say whatever came to mind without needing to police himself around Percy that these truths would come out without permission.

"Beautiful.” Now Nico was confused. What was beautiful? The music or… something else?

Percy smiled once more and the doubt was soon gone. He wondered since when Percy's smiles expressed so many things and how each of them was so clear to him, like a perfect, complete, error free language.

"So, after school?”

“I know a place you'll love.”

"Do you know me that well?" Another smile and a nod, as if Percy were saying, ‘Of course, silly.’

He rolled his eyes and turned his attention to his guitar.

"Don't you have practice?"

“Nothing is more important than you.

Nico would have liked to say that they were friendly words and that Percy was joking, but he had spoken with such resolution and confidence that Nico believed him. You know, Percy was a great communicator, sometimes the smiles would dessapear, as if Percy wanted there to be no misunderstandings. It was in those moments that Nico liked to pretend that he hadn't heard a thing, that he hadn't understood, or that nothing had happened. It’s easier when these things happened over connections where thousands of kilometers separated them, but here, less than five meters away? It made his heart race and his palms sweat.

"Hurry up.” He muttered back, trying to ignore Percy's words. "It's getting late.”

"Wait for me.”

So Nico waited, listening to Percy's footsteps retreat down the court.

What else could he do? Besides waiting and behaving, waiting for the moment when Percy would have some time to spare to him? Nico continued strumming the strings of his guitar and didn’t raise his head again for long minutes, that is, until someone sat down next to him, remaining silent until he gave up and stared at them. It was Annabeth, of course, with her intense blue-gray eyes and long golden hair, slender and tall, looking down on him just as he remembered, making him feel like he was a bug she wouldn't kill out of pity.

“Nico, is nice to see you again. How is Bianca doing?”

"Good.” Was all he said. Maybe she still intimidated him, maybe she still had the power to make him cry like a helpless baby.

"What brings you here?”

And again, he felt like the same lonely, outcast kid, the helpless boy anyone could use and abuse. Nico was so tired of it. He wouldn't give that power to Annabeth or that kind of person who, when they didn't have something the want, they took it by force.

"It's none of your business. Is that envy? Did it hurt a lot when he dumped you?”

Annabeth merely smiled, studying him, pretending she was on top when they both knew that was far from the truth.

“Ah, looks like some things have changed, then.”

"Looks liked it.”

"You know you're not going to win, don't you?"

“This isn't a game.”

“Look, I wasn't very nice to you. That’s why I’ll give you a chance. If you walk away, I promise I won't stand in your way. Things are like that…”

How kind of her, isn't it? Did she know what happened all those years he was abroad? How had Percy been the first to get back in touch less than a week after he’d left for Italy? And that in the end, there was nothing to be gained or lost? It’s for that exact reason that Nico chose to remain silent, watching Annabeth toss her platinum hair back as she kept talking.

“…you'll do very well around here if you do as I say.”

"Anne?" Someone behind them called out to her. It was Silena and Grover, they were both dressed in cheerleading clothes. Grover  was wearing lycra pants and Silena, a skirt, mini-blouse and pompoms in her hand. “Drew is calling for you.”

“She always is.” Was Annabeth's turn to roll her eyes and get up. “I think that's it. Do us both a favor, will you? It’ll be better this way.”

Tha way, tucking in her skirt and climbing the steps to the bleachers, he, Grover, and Silena watched Annabeth strut away, taking with her the tension Nico hadn't even realized had built up. Well, now he remembered one of the main reasons he had gone so far away from there.

“We are very sorry.” Grover was the first to break the silence, taking a seat next to him.

“She doesn't do it on purpose.” Silena sat down on the other. “It's not personal.”

“Never is with her.” Nico muttered back.

He didn't even know why he tried. Now, looking at things closely… maybe he should have stayed in Italy. The situation there was chaotic, but at least it was manageable. Having to go back and face the same traumatic things might not have been the best of his ideas.

“Don't mind her.” Grover said once more as the three of them watched the basketball team practice just as Percy made a basket and looked towards him, smiling victoriously.

Maybe, in the end, all this drama would be worth it if the reward was the smile lighting up Percy Jackson's face.

Nós vamos tocar no baile.

— Nico! A gente está atrasado. Você conseguiu a música?

— Nico, a gente gravou. Tudo bem? — Lou disse de algum lugar na plateia. — Ficou perfeito. Posso compartilhar com os outros?

— Eu… já coloquei online? Posso colocar no grupo?

***

— Desculpa. — Percy disse, admitindo a derrota.

Talvez ele devesse? Só para ver se conseguia se controlar?

— Eu entendo.

Bem, ele ainda estava curioso.
