When Sophia went to look for her favorite sweater, she found a french maid’s outfit in its place. There really wasn’t too much mystery who put it there. The only person to have ever gone into her closet was her husband, though she couldn’t imagine why he put this in her closet.
When she confronted Michael, he looked kind of sheepish. Apparently he was going to ask her to wear it on his birthday. She just let that one go. “But what about my sweater, the forest green one?” she asked.
“Didn’t you have to throw that out after you spilled marinara on it? At the Spiegelmans’ house like, however long ago was it?”
She didn’t remember throwing out the sweater, and the Spiegelman’s party was a long time ago. But, it had been quite a while since they had sweater weather before this cold snap, so it was possible she had forgotten about it and just hadn’t looked for it since then.
She ended up wearing the maid outfit for him on his birthday… well, really for his weekend-long birthday celebration. It was more fun than she had imagined. Suddenly, just doing the little light cleaning that she had been putting off until now was a fun little game, something that got Mike excited. Not that he really needed to be excited, but she kind of forgotten how much, well, fun it could be to get some male attention like this.
A week or two later, she was looking unsuccessfully for her light blue blouse, and she found another French Maid uniform in its place. This one was a bit more skimpy. She should have been pissed, but as she looked at it, it was kind of fun. She ended up calling in sick from work after she put it on, and spent the day cleaning.
That roughly two years ago. Things had changed so much since then. For a while, her old outfits went missing, with better ones taking their places, but eventually she ran out of old boring clothes. It was right around that time that Master Michael moved them out of their old house and into a much bigger one. Apparently, it was his parents’ once a long time ago, and it finally was his now. He really did like Sophia, but he really needed a maid to keep the place running.
Fifi totally agreed.
Unf….
