Genji: I believe you found an expedience solution, commander.
Gabe: Hear that? The Ninja agrees with my decision.
Mccree: You be sure to call him as a character witness then.
I am not the best at putting words together but I have to say this.
It’s painfully obvious when abled (esp abled-bodied) fans do not see a characters disability as an important part of them. Or treat characters disabilities as something that can be written of as “a different version of that character” so it “doesn’t have to be included”. Or even worse see it as a character flaw that must be cured.
You people treat it as something that can be ignored or a choice to include in stuff. It’s so tiring! Abled people don’t ACTUALLY listen to disabled peoples concerns and how important representation can be to us!
I need this in my life

Chiune Sugihara. This man saved 6000 Jews. He was a Japanese diplomat in Lithuania. When the Nazis began rounding up Jews, Sugihara risked his life to start issuing unlawful travel visas to Jews. He hand-wrote them 18 hrs a day. The day his consulate closed and he had to evacuate, witnesses claim he was STILL writing visas and throwing from the train as he pulled away. He saved 6000 lives. The world didn’t know what he’d done until Israel honored him in 1985, the year before he died.
