So, uhh, @cipheramnesia and I are going to be needing some help
Our house is on fire
Her arms are burned, her hair is singed, but she is ok. Edelweiss is singed all over but fine, Loiosh is fine, and I cant find Impurrator Furryosa. She wasn't in the area where the fire was, but who knows what happened after the trucks arrived?
All our stuff is gone. I don't know when we can get inside to look for things and to see how bad the damage is. Its a lot.
I am in shock and shaking. Cipher has been taken to the hospital, I could not go with her.
Please help, I don't know what to do

white lgbt ppl dont know how much trouble theyve caused for us -_-
So, this hasn't crossed my dash yet. (Not blaming anyone, there is soooo much going on in the world and I'd also missed it in the noise).
There is currently a strike at Frito-Lay. in Topeka. These workers are striking because:
They were being forced to work 84 hour weeks. The company's best offer so far is a 60 hour cap. This is shit we fought for a century ago, people.
Their generous offer also includes a whole 4 percent wage increase...over the next 2 years. I'm not sure what COL is in Topeka, but... Well, it's better than the entire 77 cents they've apparently gotten in the last decade.
There's also a report that a worker literally collapsed and dropped dead on the line and the foreman's response was to make them move the body out of the way and put in a replacement. (However, this is unconfirmed and, of course, the company denies it).
There have been multiple OSHA violations at this plant over the last few years, including a forklift accident that's under investigation.
They've now been striking since July 5 but, of course, it only hit the national media yesterday.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2021/07/14/frito-lay-strike-forced-overtime/
So, why am I signal boosting this?
Because Frito-Lay is refusing to budge. They are attempting to make the excuse that union leadership agreed to the 60 hour work week and crappy pay cut...when union leadership only agreed to put it to a vote.
And this means that we need to put the thumbscrews on them. Remember, this is about 19th century style working conditions.
So, I'm calling on my followers to boycott Frito Lay's until the strike is involved.
Frito-Lay owns:
Lay's
Doritos (Sorry. I really am. I KNOW there's no good alternative to Doritos, although Zapp's are good if you can find them).
Fritos
Tostitos
Cheetos
Ruffles
Sun Chips
Baken-ets
Chester's
Cracker Jack
Islen plantain chips
Funyuns
Grandma's (the cookies)
Matador Meat Snacks
Maui style potato chips
Miss Vickie's
Munchies
Munchos
Rolled Gold
Sabritones
Santitas
Simply
Smartfood
Stacys
The Walking Taco
NatuChips
PopCorners (this one wasn't on their website, but was bought by Pepsi's in 2019 with the intent of adding it. So best avoided just in case). Yes, this really is more than half of the snack aisle. Suggested alternatives:
Kettle Brand Chips
Zapp's (If you can find them. My supermarket had them once and not since, so I'm guessing the culinary cowards in this neighborhood were afraid of "Voodoo" flavored chips).
Pringles
On the Border for salsa.
Wise Cheez Doodles
Bugles
Utz
Store own brand alternatives, if your store has ones that are any good.
Cheez-its
Check before you buy and let's tell these people they don't get to treat workers like that.
For shits and giggles
I think the reason why Kylo is so hard to sympathize with his because the character Finn exists.
Kylo was born with wealth, privilege, a loving family, and Force powers. Finn was an enslaved child soldier with no family and nobody who cared about him.
Kylo may have been influenced by Snoke but he was also influenced by Luke, Leia, Han, and Jedi values. Finn grew up hearing nothing but First Order propaganda.
Yet when the time came for them to make a choice Finn made the right one and Kylo made the wrong one. Finn chose not to murder innocent people while Kylo did multiple times.
Break a prop? Just put it back and walk away… ha ha!!
Hello, My name is Mosab Elderawi, and I live in Gaza with my family. Life here has become harder than I ever imagined, and I’m writing this with hope in my heart that you might hear our story.
The ongoing war has devastated my family. We’ve lost 25 family members—each one a beloved part of our lives, taken too soon. I miss them deeply—their laughter, their presence, their love. Every day is a reminder of this unimaginable loss.

We are now facing daily challenges to survive—things that most people take for granted, like food, clean water, and a safe place to sleep. The harsh realities of life here have replaced our dreams with the constant fight for survival.
💔 Lost Stability: The war has left us without work or a stable source of income. 🍞 Basic Needs: Food and water are becoming harder to afford with rising prices and scarce resources. 📚 Dreams on Hold: Like so many here, my family’s dreams have been replaced by the need to simply survive. 😢 Unimaginable Loss: Losing 25 loved ones has left a void that can never be filled.
I’m sharing our story with the hope that someone out there might care. Even $5 can make a big difference for us, and if you’re unable to donate, just reblogging this post can help spread the word.
Your kindness, no matter how small, is something we’ll never forget.
Your support is not about changing our entire situation—it’s about giving us a little relief, a little hope, and a way to keep going. We are not asking for much, and we understand if you can’t donate. Sharing our story is just as valuable to us as a donation.
Thank you for reading this far. It means the world to us to know that someone is listening. Your kindness gives us strength and helps us believe in a better tomorrow.
With all our gratitude, Mosab Elderawi and Family ❤️

Hello, all:
Swallowing my pride and asking for help is a very hard thing to do, and I hate that I’ve had to do it so often in the last year. But unfortunately, for the happiness of me and my family, it’s something that I will have to do again.
For anyone that doesn’t know -
Since the day he was born, my son Julian has had a smile on his face; he’s a bright, loving child who never stops laughing and running around.
In the spring of 2022, however, that changed. Suddenly, he was in constant and agonizing pain - he stopped smiling, stopped laughing, stopped running around, stopped being the little ball of sunshine we’ve always known him to be, and couldn’t make it from his bed to the sofa without being carried.
He couldn’t even make it through a single night without waking up screaming in pain.
He was four years old.
After months of tests and chronic pain, Julian was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and has been going throw daily chemo and other cancer treatments since then.
Being a single parent, I haven’t been able to work; I’ve tried my best to save as much as I can, but obviously money has been tight. We are based in England at the moment but have been planning on moving to the United States as soon as the doctors say it is safe for Julian to travel to be close to my own family. Unfortunately, the various travel costs are too high for us to afford at the moment.
These costs include sending our belongings overseas, the travel itself, and - most importantly to Julian - shipping his beloved cat.
It’s been hard to properly explain to Jules what he’s been going through - he’s autistic, and oftentimes can’t comprehend why he’s feeling the way he’s feeling. Because of this, the emotional support Julian receives from Fabien (shown with Julian above) has been just as important of a support system as our friends and family.
Fabien, lovingly called ‘Baby Cat’ by Julian, has been with him through it all; the idea that I’d have to separate them solely because I can’t afford to ship him breaks my heart - I need to somehow find close to $6,000 to afford all the travel costs.
My paypal is here and my ko-fi is here.
Any and all assistance that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated - even if that’s just sharing this post.
