I'm laughing so hard, I typed "Russian aesthetic" on Pinterest, expecting starry Christmas night pictures of the Kremlin covered in snow, hot drinks, matryoshkas, traditional dresses, candles and lights, traditional food, folklorical fairytales illustrations, floral painted fabrics, ice skating, the nutcracker Ballet, etc. And this is the stuff that appeared instead I'm dead😭

So then I tried to type "Russia depressing" to see if it could get any worse considering the things that already came out with just typing "Russian aesthetic"

And uh...

TLJ: rey’s parents were bad people who sold her. this is thematically important to her whole arc about finding her identity. in order to grow and mature as a character, she must let go of the idealised picture of her parents she has in her head and the harmonious infancy she never had. she wants her parents to be good, noble people, and by having them be bad nobodies, we force her to change and grow, to create her own place in the universe/her own identity.

TLJ: we killed snoke to make room for the actually interesting conflict, the one between the conflicted supreme leader kylo ren and the resistance, his mother and rey.

TLJ: the jedi failed. they were arrogant and stuck in their ways. they were so terrified of the dark side that they turned a blind eye to the darkness rising with palpatine. they deal in absolutes. it is time to let this flawed order die. we must learn from our past mistakes. failure is the greatest teacher.

TLJ: rey and kylo have a complicated relationship. they are beyond physically fighting each other, they now have to figure out their emotional conflict on how they are going to navigate their force bond connection and ambiguous feelings as supreme leader and resistance fighter. 

TROS: *more lightsaber fight nonsense*

TLJ: rose is a self-assured, determined character, an integral part of this story. she acts as moral authority to finn, helps him find his purpose in the resistance and embodies hope, resilience and fighting for the right cause.

i want this season to be more about chloe’s emotions rather than lucifer’s going nowhere therapy sessions. seriously i was so tired watching him go to melinda and getting nothing from therapy over and over again. it’s not healthy and overly dramatic

I know we didn’t get to see other regions in Genshin yet other than Mondstat and Liyue but I have a feeling that when we finally do, our journey ends on Mondstat because like, 

Mondstat was the first region to be aware of the abyss order’s plans. The first time we’ve seen the abyss order moving was on the very start of the game where you meet up with Amber and she notices that Hilichurls aren’t supposed to be setting up camps since they usually run astray and don’t do that. There’s also the Diluc quest where you really get to fight the abyss order, F2F.

Most of the characters from Khaenri’ah (should I say ‘Khaenri’an’ to make it simpler or?) stay on Mondstat. First we have Kaeya who’s backstory is sad af and then Albedo, who prolly isn’t human, and then Dainsleif who appeared out of nowhere in the latest update and then doing these abyss order related investigations.

In all of Genshin’s collected Miscellanies, Most of Dain’s questions of doubt are directed to the Mondstat characters. First we have that Klee collected miscellany where Dain asks if Klee could still keep smiling if that “something” happens, and then in the Diluc collected miscellany where he wonders if Diluc would have the same determination in protecting Mondstat if that “something” happens too. While he does question Liyue characters too, it’s usually about if the characters get the peace of mind that they want, while for Mondstat characters it always prophesy things and it’s sus

And yeah that’s just what I thought of. 

My phone pings and I open it blushing and smiling like an idiot in love, my sweet friend looks at me and asks with a teasing smile, "is it your crush?" I laugh like the maniac who's wasting their life away as I am and look at the email with the ao3 eniemes to lovers fanfiction update and sigh like a young maiden in love and nod my head, "yup"
