Reading Recommendations Part VI: Manhwa, webtoons and novels

I previously mentioned that I would post this list later this month, but I realized that the new manhwas won’t have enough chapters for me to have a complete feel for them so I will mention them as future readings. 

Webtoons: 

Back to you: I previously mentioned this webtoon in a previous post, but I  had to mention again because I really enjoy this story. I heard good reviews about the author Honey B (actually bad because she likes to make the readers suffer with tears ;_;). She wrote the webtoon “Flow”.  I haven’t read it yet as I read the comments claim it is a roller coster of emotions. If anyone read “Flow” and liked it please let me know.

See you in my 19th Life: I read the author’s previous work “A good day to be a dog” and I really enjoyed it. So far I really like the story for its different from the typical reincarnation storyline and it has a modern day setting. 

Like Wind on a Dry Branch: the art is pretty and the story has potential.

The First Night With the Duke:  the story is comical and entertaining. I enjoyed the first season which is complete. 

Manhwas:

I became the Hero’s Mom: The ML appears a bit conceited at first but he is so loving and caring. I really like his character so far and the child is too adorable. FYI the hero is adopted just in case you are thrown off. 

The Way to Protect the Female Lead’s Older Brother: it is on the darker side story wise, true villains that torture and whatnot. 

The Villainess is a Marionette: previously mentioned but had to do it again because the art is so pretty. 

The Fake Princess’ OP Bunny: not many chapters released yet but so far its a quite funny and cute story. I like the twist with the ML. 

New Year’s Taste: not many chapters released, however, the setting is in college and modern day. The FL is flawed and not OP but I want to see her character growth and how she grows into her own. 

The Young Lady I served became a young master: interesting story.

Return of the female Knight: the novel is complete and the manhwa just released. The novel was an enjoyable read. 

What it means to be you?: I read some chapters of the novel and this romance is not fairy tale or ideal love at all. If you like to read antsy romance then this is for you. 

I don’t love you anymore: previously mentioned but had to mention again if you like the vibe of remarried empress. 

The emperor reverses time: new manhwa, characters will start off young and grow together which was different from first timeline. 

I’ll be the matriarch in this life: FL gives I’m going to be a boss lady in this life vibes- new manhwa. 

My husband hides his beauty: ML is super pure . 

A bittersweet couple: if you like modern day setting manhwa, contract marriage. 

The tyrant’s guardian is an evil witch: it’s cute to see the ML grow up. No romance at all so far but pretty cute interactions. 

The viridescent crown: characters initially have political sibling relationship. 

I want to do it, even if it hurts: no smut, as in she will do the marriage even if it hurts. 

Ebony: really big on presenting the theme of women empowerment. 

Father I don’t want to get married!: mentioned previously but art and story is really good. 

I became the ugly lady: The FL outfits are quite detailed. Not sure who the ML is yet because there’s no romance so far. 

Please Throw me Away: FL is into archaeology, there is magic and curses.

Novels: I haven’t been reading as many novels as in the past because I recently made a post about novels I recommend.
