Day 1: Noir

IT’S TEAM CHAOTIX WEEK, BABY! I’ve been so hyped for this. So hyped! I can’t wait to see what everyone came up with!

Anyways, since noir movies are typically filmed in black and white, I wanted to go for a literal black and white drawing.

Update: Teacher did approve! He was very happy with my work and gave me tips on little nuances I can do to make it even better! (So stoked!)

Also, thanks @mightyray for the little compliments in the tags! I’ve seen different ones from different people (and have loved every single one to death, repeatedly makes my day), but since these were your tags, I figured I could thank you specifically.

Just finished up a bunch of homework and wanted to show off my favorite one from all of the jumping animations I had to do.

Tails’s lineup has been completed! He probably has the most diversity appearance-wise across all of my AUs.

Didn't think I'd ever put my art up on Tumblr, but here we are. I love this duo so much, and I wish we saw more of them in official stuff. This art is connected to a fanfic I’ve been working on called Mobian but Still Animal on AO3. It’s for Chapter 14 specifically! It’s basically just a collection of one shots centered around how I think certain animal facts would affect Sonic and the gang.

Headcanon time! To help Ray’s gliding endurance, Mighty would essentially use him as a kite on windy days.

I want to see what happens when she fricking snaps.

I made myself a Silver hoodie, and I am now one of the happiest people on earth!

I had so much fun with this project. I have wanted a Sonic hoodie forever, but all the ones I found either sucked, would not ship to anywhere near me, or were only for little kids. Well, I know how to sew so I made it happen for myself!

This design is something I came up with myself, using elements from Silver’s character design and one of the game elements from Sonic ‘06. I also wanted to make it like something I feel like he might wear. This is a super exciting thing for me because this is the first time I’ve made one of my own designs come to life! I will never get rid of this thing, and it might have to be buried with me! The many hours of tedious math, color matching/dyeing, hardcore struggling, running out of materials, and adding a couple extra elements on a whim, all of it was absolutely worth it! It’s one of the most comfortable things I own, and I am so proud of myself! I ended up using this design for a Silver cosplay, which I will show off after I fix the stuff that fell apart at the convention. RIP my boots.

Anyways, I tend to be a more art-centered blog, so here’s a doodle of Silver wearing it too! I’ll do a better drawing later. I just really wanted to show this off!

Dreaming of an absolution and endless blue skies.

I made a Sonicsona! I’ve been working on this for a couple days and decided I was going to make myself a turtle! Sonic could use more reptiles anyways, and I based them off of my favorite turtle species, the diamondback terrapin!

I went simple with markings and stuff since that seems to be the style. But woo! First ever sona for something!

Quick ramble about thoughts and details I put into it.

I used a lot of things I love to make this little guy. Turtles are my favorite animals of all time. I also love the color blue and any teals. I think purple eyes is top tier character design plus it was a way to include my second favorite color. I love high/mid top shoes to the point where they’re pretty much all I ever wear. Had to include headphones because I wear them everywhere. I also chose to include the wristband I’ve worn every day for five and a half years now. Also, every pair of gloves I own are fingerless. The only full gloves I had have been missing for two years.
