While reading Heartslabyul manga, I've thought about a few things regarding their leadership dynamics. I always thought Diasomnia is the most militaristic faction because of how orderly they are, but the way the Heartslabyul students march to the beat of whatever Riddle demands is of the same intensity as Diasomnia's.

But then I thought of the main difference between them. Heartslabyul follows the rules and thus their leader because they're afraid for themselves. They do everything told of them if only for their own sake. Diasomnia, on the other hand, follows whatever Malleus wants ironically not out of fear, but of their devotion and awe of him. They think they do this in service of their god.

In a short conclusion, Diasomnia is more like a religion than a judicial structure like Heartslabyul primarily is.

There are characters who despite appearing rarely, have shown so much personality you'll always feel confident writing a fanfic about them.

Then there are characters who appears every single time but no one in the fandom can agree on a personality cuz they don't have one.

And they'll even have the gods simp for them lmao the thirst is real
