Panel 1: kid on the right wearing a backpack walking. Panel 2: Kid on the right turns, noticing their friend is gone, and stops walking. Panel 3: kid on the right is standing a couple paces behind, looking down at the ground with their hands gripping the straps of their backpack. Kid on the right has stopped and turned around. They say, "what's wrong?"

Panel 1: kid on the left looks downcast and says, "I don't wanna go to school. It's scary." Panel 2: kid on the right walks up beside kid on the left. Panel 3: Kid on the right says, "yeah, it is." Panel 4: kid on the left says, "But we have to go."

Panel 1: kid on the right stares. Panel 2: kid on the right starts to take off their backpack. Panel 3: Kid on the left is staring down at nothing. Panel 4: something catches their attention and the kid on the left looks up towards their friend. Panel 5: The kid on the right says, "here, give me your hand." They hold out their hand towards the kid on the left and holds an uncapped permanent marker in their other hand.

Panel 1: Kid on the right holds the kid on the left's hand as they writes in it. Their backpack leans up against their leg as it rests against the ground. They say, "I'm gonna write the biggest, strongest thing I know on your hand so you can take it to class. Panel 2: kid on the left asks, "What is it? A cassowary?" Panel 3: Kid on the right says from off-page as the kid on the left covers their face and turns away, "Stronger than that. But you can't peek right now. You can only look when you get reeeeeally scared." Kid on the left says, "why?"

The kid on the left floats in the void, sitting at their desk with their hands folded and looking down. They get smaller as they begin to hunch down and rotate in further iterations of themselves down the page until they have their face in their arms. It looks like they're floating off.

Hey, I don’t know if you are still doing asks but I’m most likely going to be admitted to a mental hospital tomorrow. I’m only 13 and I’m really scared. Could I have words of encouragement from the Nordics?

Finland pulled you in for the tightest embrace, taking long breaths as he felt your heartbeat against his own

“You’re going to be okay.” Finland said, petting your hair gently “For whatever circumstances you have for being there, you’re going to do great.”

Sweden nodded in affirmation, “You going there for help is one brave thing done, but you’ve got to be extra-brave for yourself, okay?

“It’s okay to be scared.” Norway cooed, cupping your face “Just know that you’re already doing great by letting yourself get help, and will keep getting better after this. And we always have your back.”

“Yes, this is a good brave thing that you’re doing.” Iceland smiled at you brightly “It’s scary, I know, but you are going to heal and be better, because you are great and you are going to do well in this entire process.”

“Yeah!” Denmark cheered on “Be extra! Dab yourself some serotonin!” He then proceeded to dab horribly and then throw his arms around you for a tight embrace

Iceland gasped and stared at him, shaken, “The fuck did you just say?”

“Oh come on, just a little bit of fun!” Denmark laughed, turning to you and pressing a quick kiss on your cheek “But seriously, kid, you will do good there. Take it one step at a time.“

Little headcanons I have for the Nordics: Sweden addition

He can’t stand bitter things. He has a huge sweet tooth and uses up most of the family’s sugar and creamer for his coffee. Unless he needs to wake up, most of the time he just drinks hot chocolate anyway. At this point, Iceland won’t drink hot chocolate unless Sweden makes it from scratch. It’s godly. Aside from that, he’s a great baker. He often makes cinnamon rolls in the morning before the rest of the house wakes up.

Council: Obi-Wan is too young to teach, Anakin is too old to learn, it's a recipe for disaster.

Kanan: Yeah well, I never became a knight, my apprentice is a heavily traumatized teenager who's being raised in a war zone, and yet while he's not perfect he hasn't fallen. It's a trick I call "a loving supportive environment" and "validation of his feelings".
