Amethyst decided to introduce her class to video games. She showed us a game called Friday night funkin, along with some popular mods for it as well. I didn’t know what mods were, but then she explained that they were programs you add on to the game to change its look, the music, or both. One of the mods she showed us was called the minus mod. I thought this character, who she explained was called the lemon demon, looked kinda cool in the minus mods style, so I decided to try drawing it.

(Ooc) blue Sunstone is already on earth for a few weeks before she decides to make the ask blog. Would you be ok with me making our roleplay as a ‘‘flashback/ look into the past’ kinda thing for the blog? Like, our roleplay is canonically how she first experienced earth. And our roleplay is how people learn about her first time on earth. Canonically, this roleplay doesn’t exist on the blog. Sorry if it’s kinda confusing. I’ll try to explain it better if you need me too.

“Yeah, I am!” She seemed pretty happy that he noticed. “I’m Blue sunstone actually, though that’s probably pretty obvious. Here’s my gem, by the way.” She shows him her left palm, which has a oval shaped, midnight blue gemstone with silver sparkles. 

“That’s so cool!”  Steven grinned at the blue sunstone nestled in the palm of her left hand.  “I’ve never seen one like this!”

After all his gawking, however, he smiled up at Blue Sunstone. She had come here for a reason, after all, so he may as well find out. He gestured to Little Homeschool currently surrounding them.

“I take it you’re here for Little Homeschool, right?”

What’s their favorite childhood memory? Why?, How would your character describe themselves? What do they think are their most defining traits? Is this view of themselves accurate to reality?

I’m a gem, I never had a childhood. So, I’ll just tell you about my favorite memory in general. Which would be, surprisingly, when blue diamond gave me the nickname sparkles. It made me feel special, like I was different to her, like a really meant something to her. I know she only tried it because pink did, and she thought it would help her feel better, but still, it was nice.

I would describe myself as a friend to others, willing to help others as long as they’re nice and not trying to hurt me or anyone else.  I think my most defining traits are my freckles and calm nature. For the freckles, I’m the only gem I’ve seen so far that has them. As for my calm nature, you need to be able to be calm and patient when you’re a therapist, so you can just listen to what your patient says so you can try to help them. I may not be a therapist anymore, but I did discover that I’m just a naturally calm person, not just because I’m a former therapist.

I think my view of myself is accurate to reality. I try to be who I truly can be, not letting my former therapist job define my personality and existence.

My mother, a symbol of tenderness and giving, is now suffering from unbearable pain, as she suffers from deadly blood cysts on her liver that threaten her life at every moment. The hospital is asking for $3,789 to perform the urgent surgery, and these amounts seem unattainable in these circumstances that turn our lives into a continuous battle against death. I see the pain in her eyes, and the tears running down her cheeks, and I can only beg you with all my hope: Help me save my mother, as every donation, no matter how small, could be the difference between life and death.

This appeal comes from the depths of the heart, filled with sadness and tears, and I appeal to every kind soul to give us a second chance, a chance to keep our mother among us. I am Mahmoud Al-Safadi, a 54-year-old man, married to Nada, who is 40, and together we have three children: Lina (24), Alaa (21), and Shahd (19). Like any family, our dreams were simple — to live safely together under one roof. But fate has been cruel to us.

The recent war in Gaza has completely destroyed our home, forcing us to move from place to place, searching for safety amidst the terrifying sounds of bombings and explosions. Displacement from northern Gaza became our only option, and here we are now, homeless and facing the harshest of conditions. We suffer from severe shortages of food, water, and medicine, and live under a blockade that stifles every hope of living with dignity.

I used to work at a mobile phone shop on Al-Nasr Street in Gaza City, but the war took everything. My workplace was completely destroyed, and I lost the only source of income for my family. Now, all I dream of is a chance to live, to provide my children with their simplest right — a peaceful life.

We are now in desperate need of your support. Every donation, no matter how small, could be a lifeline, offering us hope for a better tomorrow, maybe even saving us from this unending nightmare.
