Denmark - TALL BASTARD. At least 6’3” and you cannot convince me otherwise.

Sweden - ALSO A TALL BASTARD but very slightly shorter than Den. Tbh it’s probably only Den’s hair that makes him look taller. About 6’2” - 6’3”

Norway - NOT TINY. I like my Norwegians TALL 😤 shorter than Den and Swe but not that much shorter, about 6’0”

Iceland - Average (by Icelandic standards anyway), about 5’8” (although he wishes he was taller)

Finland - The Tiniest™️ (but he can and will destroy you), not by much tho, about 5’7” - 5’7.5”

Okay, so this is something I've actually been toying with for a while

Editing videos for tumblr is both easier and more difficult than editing longer videos, since adding captions takes less time, but actually cutting down the video from an average of 1.5hrs to 3 minutes is pretty difficult since I have to cut out SO MUCH, so usually so many funny moments have to be cut because the video is just too long, even if I make multiple videos from one recording

So here's dilemma number 1: adding captions is going to take A LOT longer, and I don't have the attention span or time for that

I could solve this dilemma by simply not adding captions, but then that takes away literally all of the hetalia aspect of the videos and y'all probably would't watch (which is understandable if you only came for the Nordics)

Here's dilemma number 2: This blog and topic/theme/whatever is so incredibly specific that I really don't think it would get anywhere on YT, especially since the hetalia fandom seems to be pretty much dead outside of tumblr

I could solve this by leaving out the hetalia bit and just hoping people like me and cereal without it, but then we wouldn't have the headstart from tumblr and would have to work from the ground up and idk if either of us have the motivation for that again lmfaooo

So hopefully you can see that these two dilemmas combine and leave me with one ultimate dilemma:

Would you guys still subscribe and watch if there was no hetalia theme and it was just me and cereal as ourselves, but with more frequent videos? Or should I keep going with the captions and stuff and end up releasing like one video per 3 months?

What’s everyone’s tolerance for horror games? For both Nordics and Admins ;)

Finland - This man has BALLS OF STEEL. Zero fucks given. 10/10 would fight a monster and win.

Iceland - Holds himself together pretty well, but nowhere near as well as Fin. Overall a pretty solid effort on his part

Sweden - Similar to Ice, generally deals pretty well with horror and gore, although jump scares tend to get to him a little

Denmark - Can only deal with horror when he’s drunk *cough*ThatOnePhasmophobiaVideoWhereHeTriedToFuckTheGhost*cough*. When he’s sober he just cries most of the time.

Norway - Hates horror with a passion. Can’t stand it, is a scared little bitch, will only play horror games/watch horror movies if held at gunpoint. Isn’t too bothered by gore but any other kind of horror is a big no to him

Lizard - Love horror movies, horror games kinda fuck with me a little more but I get desensitised to them pretty quickly (read: I got obsessed with phasmophobia a few months ago and now it’s hard for me and my 105 levels to get scared by it anymore). Literally can’t stand jump scares because I have ✨anxiety✨, I started playing at dead of night recently and I don’t think my poor heart can take it lmfao

Cereal - I fucking hate it. But it's so addicting. Only started playing phasmophobia for Lizard. But holy fuck. Ghosts love to fucking exhale down your neck. Like take your kinky ass somewhere else bruh. I can play the game better when drunk :)

question for admin - can you share a headcanon you have for each nordic?

Denmark: This man has ADHD, not just as in “I’m so hyper aha oh look a squirrel!”, but he also has sensory issues and often struggles with executive dysfunction. He always tries his best though, and all the other Nordics understand and always support him :)

Norway: An absolute musical genius, he’s played many instruments throughout his life, including but not limited to, flute, violin, guitar, and electric bass. He’ll never admit this, especially not to Iceland, but he secretly loves emo music.

Iceland: Honestly, I’ve always headcannoned Ice as trans (ftm), and I think that started with me subconsciously projecting onto him lmao. Of course, the other Nordics had no issue with this and still gave him all their unconditional love uwu

Sweden: This probably seems kind of basic in comparison to my other hcs, but I always imagined him being a lot more outgoing than you’d expect, once he is comfortable around you. He’s still PAINFULLY shy at first, and it takes him a while to open up, but once he does, he REALLY opens up.

Finland: HE. CANNOT. COOK. FOR. SHIT. Seriously. He always burns everything, and everything he doesn’t burn tastes horrible. However, he makes ONE HELL OF A CAKE. Sweets and desserts are something else entirely for him, whatever he bakes tastes like heaven.
