Shifting is kind of like being a jellyfish. You don’t have to force it or try too hard. Just like a jellyfish floats through the water without thinking, shifting happens when you let go and stop trying to control every little thing. You just exist in the moment, letting go of all the pressure. The more relaxed you are, the easier it is to float into your DR, like you’re already there without forcing it. So, let your mind drift, trust the process, and just be—shifting doesn’t need to be a struggle. It’s like floating effortlessly, just letting the current take you where you’re meant to go.
Someone just said that some LOA shifters are pissing them off and I think we need to talk about it, because it's really important.
Personally, I fully believe in LOA. It all makes sound sense to me; your subconscious can't see, so it assumes whatever you tell it into reality, and if you consistently do not believe that you are in your DR then that's all your subconscious is learning from the experience.
That being said, I am wrong.
I bet you weren't expecting that. But that's really all there is to it. I can give advice till the day I die and tell people what works for me and what I believe and if I really, really wanted, I could even tell them step by step how to shift. But at the end of the day, I am WRONG.
There will always be someone out there who my methods don't work for. There will always be people who can shift purely with LOA, and people who shift very capably while also believing that LOA is a crock of shit.
LOA shifters? Listen up. You are WRONG. To someone out there, you are WRONG, and your methods and assumptions WILL NOT WORK. Period. Better to accept it now than continue on looking like an idiot. You cannot sit there and say that everyone's shifting journey is individual and diverse and then, in the same breath, claim that your method is foolproof and that people will not shift if they don't believe in it. You cannot SHAME people into believing that you are right and their methods are wrong. We all know that the multiverse is infinite, and that means that somewhere, for someone else's intents and purposes, we will always be wrong, no matter how confidently we do it.
I want to make it clear that I'm not trying to attack anyone. But I've also seen too many of those posts of people saying 'this is why you're not shifting, and if you do this and still don't shift, you're doing it wrong.' I just think that it's very harmful and demotivating, and that's not what any of us came here for.
For those of you who already know this stuff and are accepting of it; thank you, you are an absolute gift.
Please just be respectful and be aware. We're all here to help each other, not to be 'the person who is always right'.
Now go shift to your own crazy-ass unique DR in your own crazy-ass unique way, and be proud as fuck if you happened to be able to help out somebody else along the way. I love you guys. Happy shifting.
XO
Note: as the person whose post inspired this one said, look how many people shifted constantly with limiting beliefs and misinformation up the wazoo during 2020 shifttok. Let's not pretend that that didn't or can't happen, because that is also misinformation AND a limiting belief. <3
@i-shift-your-pants
Me trying on everything in my closet when I first shift .
stop focusing on your senses
when shifting, your physical senses are the last to shift! when you’re hyper-aware of your body, you could be anchoring yourself to your current reality.
let go.
detach from the need to feel immediate sensations and trust the process. you are in control.
focus on your intention, not on whether you ‘feel’ it happening. this is why i like to make it clear that not everyone feels physical symptoms, and that is okay!!! shifting is about aligning your consciousness, not forcing physical proof.
remind yourself: you are already shifting. every thought, every visualization, every moment spent in alignment with your desired reality brings you closer.
release the need for validation. your experience is valid, whether or not you feel tingles, heaviness, or detachment. trust in your mind’s power.
shifting isn’t something you have to ‘catch’ happening - it’s something you allow to unfold.
a/n; if anyone has any idea of what they would like me to make a post about, go ahead and use my asks <3
shifting reminder
sometimes i feel like people forget that shifting is supposed to be fun.it’s not meant to be this stressful, pressure-filled thing where you beat yourself up for not “doing it right.”
it’s supposed to be peaceful. exciting. freeing.
you’re literally tapping into your imagination, your energy, your own magic.you’re supposed to feel good about it. light. inspired.
not guilty, not panicked, not comparing yourself to others.
Be gentler with yourself and make it fun again.
You deserve it.
When I hear someone from my dr calling my name while doing a method:
how shifting actually feels
from an experienced shifter
— many people have experienced symptoms when trying to shift, however not everyone does! when i had began my shifting journey, i used to always get symptoms, but now it’s very rare that i do. maybe i’ve become so used to it that it doesn’t correlate, or maybe it just comes that natural to me, either way i still shift. don’t give up because you can’t feel any symptoms, everyone is different.
— the first shift isn’t shocking. you ‘wake up’ and it feels natural. there’s no confusion, maybe a calm acknowledgement but that’s it. you won’t need a minute to compose yourself, or get so overwhelmed you can’t speak. you will remember all the events before you shifted, and it will feel like a natural continuation.
— when your dr self’s memories come rushing in, it isn’t that noticeable. it takes a split second for your memories to, let’s say, ‘update’. you don’t realise until you have to recall something, like remembering where your keys are or the password to your phone.
— doing things in your dr that you do not do in your cr comes naturally. for example, if you are an f1 driver in your dr, you will still know what you are doing. your brain holds the information you need.
— you are not the main character. istg if someone acts as if the whole world revolves around them in their dr one more time i will actually lose it. every single person in your dr has their own lives, their own feelings, etc. just like your cr. you are not special.
1. Lay down and get into a comfy position
2. Think about where I want to go
3. Shift
This method is very simple because as a master shifter, Shifting should be simple and fun for you and this is what works for me. Also what helps a lot is having that ‘knowing’ feeling and believing in myself.
The shifting community has gotten so boringgggg.
Like where tf are the dr introductions, the moodboards?? All i see are "you can shift just by breathing" "you have already shifted" "do this and shift successfully". I was gone for 2 months and everything is just...meh?
