First Time Omega: Chapter 1

THE BEGINNING

Being an Omega was supposed to be an honor. It meant you were responsible for the majority of the continuation of humanity. It was your duty to be a good Dam, stay home, raise strong pups, and take care of your pack. It was supposed to be a joy. At least that's what everyone is taught. Omega's are told they're special and given all his praise just to keep them complacent and force them into to accept their position in society. Most Omega's would not mind who they are, what they were born to be. Most families wouldn't think twice about their child's secondary gender. 

An Alpha is strong, they are who go on to become the number one heroes and deadliest villains... or so they say. Alphas protect the pack and keep everyone safe. Alpha's are the ones almost always in the spotlight. Beta's are strong as well, just maybe not as strong. They're not often considered as special. Most of the population belongs to this group. Beta's for the most part are normal. They don't have to worry about heats and ruts, or their pheromones going crazy. They're the more level headed ones in most situations. They can hold positions just about anywhere in the community. That leaves us with the Omegas. The group with the least amount of rights... though no one would ever admit to that. Omega's could only work as caregivers, unless you happened to be mated to an Alpha who would allow you to tag along. Some heroes had mated Omegas that they formed a team with. The current number one hero was actually a mated pair with the Number two who happened to be his omega. This is better than how things once were, of course, when if you were born omega you had no say, no vote, no voice. You stayed home with the pups and were only useful as a breeding machine. Compared to that... this is better.

Your family still believed in these archaic things. They were all very old fashioned and didn't agree with the change and progress that had been made in omegan and beta rights. They were all proud, strong Alphas. Every single one of them... until the day you were born. It was a dark day, a stain on the family history when you began presenting signs of being an Omega. How could your mother, shining pillar of her pack, possibly have given birth to a lowly omega. How could she have possibly brought in a being that was so worthless all it was good for was satisfying an alpha. She was disgusted. Not only was she disgusted... she refused to allow it. 

She used her family wealth to pay off a private doctor, demanding they keep your secondary gender a secret and under wraps. And so you went on blockers. A special little pill designed to help fully grown omegas navigate life. In a low dose it was just enough to keep an Omega's scent from being too strong so they don't cause a disruption in public. You were put on a dose nearly ten times as strong. It fully stopped any sort of development. Making you almost fully unrecognizable as an Omega. Infact unless they were a medical professional... everyone thought you were a Beta. Which... still wasn't great but at least it was better than being an Omega. At least, according to your mother, you had a real purpose. 

So you lived your life, constantly making sure you were taking your medications, hiding who you truly were, and living in fear of being caught. Growing up with a parent who hated you for something you couldn't control was... also not so great. She was cold and calculating and distant. She made it well known she despised your existence and everything it meant for her. Though of course to keep appearances she had to publicly make it look like she was at least a mostly decent mother. If she had it her way, you would have been shipped off to some Omega heat facility to be pushed off on what ever Alpha wanted to have pups and matched compatibility with you genetically. After all that's what her pack did. 

Everyone in your mother's pack was an alpha. They were all just like her. They were old money with old fashion ways of thinking. They took pride in being the only fully alphan pack. There was no place for beta's or omegas in their world. When they were ready to expand, the next generation would go to a heat facility and be matched with who ever would give them the best odds of producing more alpha offspring.  It was all transactional and absolutely no love. The omega chosen would live with which ever alpha they were paired with until the pup or pups were born then immediately sent back. This kept the pup from growing attached to the omega. Sure it wasn't healthy for the Omega or the Pup, but they didn't care about that. All that mattered to them was continuing their strong genetics in the next generation. It lead to the Alpha's all being very... anti Beta/Omega and pro Alpha. Most of the kids that you grew up around all would look at you with disdain. You were nothing more than a lowly Beta in their eyes, a grunt worker, a servant among the upper class. 

If only they knew. If any of them found out what you truly were... You'd be thrown out in the streets if you were lucky. If you weren't... well... It wouldn't surprise you if soon after learning the truth you were found dead. Not only you, but your mother too... okay so maybe she wouldn't wind up dead but she'd wish she were. Disinherited, disowned, dishonored... This was all something your mother had pounded into your head. She tormented you with the constant reality of your situation to keep you in line, to keep you from missing eve one dose of your medication. The fear of what would happen to you both if you were discovered needed to be what kept you in line. It sure as hell couldn't be her love. She had none of that for you. You were the blight that she was left to deal with. And even despite knowing this, knowing how much she hated your pure existence... you couldn't help but feel love for the only family you had ever known.

So you took your medicine like a good kid, you did every single thing you were told. You made sure to be absolutely perfect. Never make a mistake. All the best grades. You couldn't risk anything less. And you succeeded in this for most of your life. Any normal family would have been proud to have a kid like you. For years everything was fine. You were left to your studies, you went to the best college money could buy. You may have been a "beta" but you were still from the esteemed L/N family. Your mother had to give you the best as was expected of her to do by society. And everything worked perfectly as it should... until the day it didn't.

You were the person Diluc trusted most in his life, however, he still had problems with being vulnerable. At times your boyfriend was distant and awkward in the relationship, unsure sure of how to initiate a conversation or physical touch with this unfamiliar chapter of his life. This paired with his need to provide for you made it especially hard for him to open up about his own needs.

Diluc's number one priority was to make you feel comfortable, making sure the maids that served you were top their, that you were healthy at all times, and that everything your heart desired was met.

But you couldn't help but feel he was a hypocrite when he comes home at an ungodly hour with his hair matted, muscles aching, and wobbly legs indicating he was about to pass out. Many times have you seen him falling asleep on his desk barely keeping his eyes open while he rambles about a weeks worth of tasks he must complete in one day. It honestly breaks your heart, so while Diluc took a well-needed nap you had managed to evenly distribute his tasks between the other servants and Kaeya to allow your boyfriend to finally have a day off.

The moment Diluc woke up from his nap he let out a loud groan, rubbing the crust from his eyes as he realized he probably was drooling in his sleep. You let out an airy laugh from your position in the corner of the room watching as he grumbled out something along the lines of "good morning" though it was late into the afternoon.

Suddenly as if realizing something was wrong he turned in the bed, his large hand slapping on the bedside table. "Love? Where's my alarm?"

His voice became panicked as he rolled out of bed, his legs still tangled in the comforter causing him to come slamming into the hardwood floor. You stood up quickly rushing to help him to his feet not missing the way he swayed with exhaustion. Seems even after a full ten hours of sleep it wasn't enough to catch him up.

"'Luc, hey relax. It's fine-"

You attempt to console him but his half-asleep craze had a clear goal to find a clock. He nodded his head mindlessly at your words before attempting to walk out the bedroom door despite the blanket still pooling at his ankles. He tripped on more but with your firm grip on his bicep, you helped him walk into the living room.

"It's two?! How could I have slept so late, where is my clock? I know I set it for six a.m., I specifically told the maids to wake me up if I'm not at breakfast by seven! Where Adelinde?" Diluc yells the head housemaid's name and you can't help but smiles at him.

Diluc looked unbelievably cute, his hair all messy with a slight curl at the end since it's out of its usual ponytail, his angry face and his twitching eyebrow, his silk white pajamas he swears are the most comfortable thing he owns. Everything about him had your heart hammering.

"I told Adelinde and some of the maids to take the day off, the others are completing tasks." You explain gently, grabbing his hand and bringing him to the large couch. Diluc had a confused look across his face as he watched you prepare the fireplace in front of him.

"Why on Earth would you do that? Did you steal my alarm clock too?" Your boyfriend crossed his arms, a scolding on the tip of his tongue as he would to a child. You rolled your eyes, lighting the wood you had set up to be engulfed in the warmth of the flame.

"Because, my love," he blushed at the nickname, while it was common for him to call you terms of indearment you usually just called him 'Luc, "you deserve a day off. I don't even want you to worry about work, it's all gonna be taken care of."

You made your way towards his lap, watching as his deep crimson eyes stared into yours challengingly. "And how are you gonna manage that, hm?" His body was stiff under yours, still a bit uncomfortable with the physical contact you two were making but you gently grabbed his arms to wrap around your waist, letting him know it was okay.

"Magic," you said vaguely, laughing at the annoyed groan he let out. "But how will I know your 'magic' does it right? What about my...nightly duties?"

"I got it all under control, today we are gonna do absolutely nothing and I promise there will be no mess for you to clean up tomorrow. Don't you trust me?" You knew the answer from how he leaned back into the couch, his fingers gently flexing around your waist to pull you closer.

His eyelids closed as he took in the warm feeling you always caused him, he couldn't understand how he got so lucky. You were always so sweet with him, never holding his flaky schedule and empty promises for dates against him. You knew his job was important to him and that he would always make it up to you and yet he still felt guilty about it. He supposed now was a good opportunity to make up for all that time lost when his desk called his name.

As he snapped out of his trance to notice the items on the table he shook his head. "So now that you got me trapped your gonna torture me?"

The contents on the table were some of your products, a strawberry face mask, so eye bag gel, a lip scrub, and even a special detangling brush you bought for your boyfriend's lushes red locks. "See, this is why we belong together, you read my mind!"

Diluc was beginning to regret his life choices.

He sat on the floor, his back against the couch while his arms and legs were surrounded by pillows, with a sticky pink gel on his face and two poorly cut cucumber slices over his eyes.

"Are the cucumbers truly necessary?" He grumbles, handing you his other hand as you clean the dirt from under his nails and add clear polish to rejuvenate his hands.

"Yes 'Luc, we gotta get rid of those horrendous eyebags," you comment through a teasing smile despite his vision being obscured by the green vegetable. "They aren't that bad," your boyfriend attempted to defend despite knowing the lack of rest took a huge toll on his body.

You hummed, finishing up painting his pinkie with clear polish since he refused any color, deeming he wouldn't want to stoop to Kaeya's level with his signature black nails.  As you blew on his hand to help the product dry you used your other hand to reach for the brush.

"I'm going to take care of your hair now, I think the stuff I put earlier should have settled." This was the part he'd been waiting for, you had an obsession with Diluc's hair and he loved to indulge you in it. His stomach always did flips whenever your fingers brush his scalp.  

You moved to sit on the couch behind his head, plucking off the cucumbers from his face and throwing it in a bowl before throwing your thighs over his shoulders and grouping his red hair in your hands. "Your hair is getting longer, I think it's a little longer than your butt now," the brush combed through his soft hair, admiring the blend of warm colors to create your boyfriend's signature blazing hair color. "But your gonna have to get a trim soon, your ends are split."

"I was thinking about cutting a couple of inches off, it's becoming a bit of a hassle." Diluc had to bite back a whine when you began to massage his head, grateful he always encouraged you to pamper yourself when he felt the pointy manicured ends of your nails scratch his scalp.

"Don't you dare! I love your hair, when your too tired to do it let me know and I'll do it for you," your genuineness was evident with how tender you were when brushing out the knots, carefully smoothing along the detangled areas. He swears he couldn't be more relaxed by your touch.

For a long moment, there was a comfortable silence, the crackling sound of the fire lulling Diluc to sleep once more much to his annoyance. He wanted to be awake, to keep feeling the love you practically drowned him in. But now he was regretting his late-night antics as the Darknight Hero.

"Don't sleep yet, we gotta wash off your face mask," you reached to grab a washcloth that had been soaking in a bowl of warm water using it to gently wipe the mask from his face. "Oh my gosh look! You got an eyelash on your face, hold on I'll blow it," your gentle breath cooled his warm skin, and after a moment of blowing you placed a kiss on his cheek.

"You made your wish right?" You question, running your fingers through his hair once more. Diluc nodded, avoiding eye contact as he could feel his face turn as red as his hair.

"Beleive it or not I'm still tired," he groaned, standing up from his spot as he complains about his ass being sore from sitting on the floor. "Then let's go to sleep, hope you enjoyed your pampering," you teased, grabbing onto his hair and swinging it around. It was then he realized you embarrassingly braided his hair into two pigtails.

"Y/N, I look like a little girl!"

"Aww, don't be like that it's cute on you!" |♡|—–|♡|   BONUS: “My love...why are their people talking about the Darknight Hero having a new sidekick? I swear to the archons is Kaeya shows up here trying to discuss some stupid superhero names with me I will--”

Authors Note: THIS IS WAS SOOOO FUN!! Lea told me later on to include something about his hair (WHICH I ADORE) so i made it the main point!!  Also trying to test out if people would really like to see more fluff? Lemme know!! :)) Check out my updates to my pinned post, I’m experimenting with #’s but I dont know how to make it work with stuff I already posted  (╥_╥) If anyone can help me out I’d love that!

I guess this is set in their days at UA, I’m thinking at the end of their third year. I’m sorry this took a while, I’ve been trying to work from the oldest to towards the newer ones, at least mostly. I feel like this turned out okay, even if not exactly as you asked

You had snuck out of your dorms to meet Bakugou in the clearing behind his dorm building. The clearing was surrounded by tall trees, but since it was a full moon, it wasn’t dark. You peeked your head out from behind a tree to see if Bakugou was already there. He was sitting almost in the middle of the clearing and looking up at the sky.

You tried to sneak up on him, but somehow he noticed your presence and turned his head in your direction.

“Oh come on. Do you have superhuman senses or something?” you complained playfully and stood behind him with your hands on his shoulders.

“Fuck yeah I do” he smirked. “Sorry I’ve been so damn busy. We’re graduating soon so the exams are a bother, on top of the internship too”

“Yeah, don’t worry about it” you said, but Bakugou could detect a hint of annoyance in your voice.

“You okay? You seem peeved about something” he asked, tilting his head back to look at you.

“It’s just… Do you think we’ll be together after we graduate? I mean, you’re gonna have your career as a hero, and I don’t even know what the hell I’m gonna do with my life yet. I probably wanna go to college, but it might be a bit hard with my grades, and I don’t want to be a burden to you either” you rambled and started pacing back and forth in front of him.

“First of all wow. Second of all, what the fuck are you going on about?” Bakugou asked with a weirded out look on his face.

“You know what I mean. I’m sure you don’t want someone like me for a partner, I’m a failure” you said, still pacing.

Bakugou grabbed you by your wrist, and basically yanked you down so you stumbled into his lap. He embraced you tightly, before loosening his grip to look at you with a very serious expression.

“I have no fuckin idea where you’re getting this whole ‘failure’ bullshit, but if I’ve ever given you the impression I think like that about you, I’m so fuckin sorry” he said.

“It’s not coming from you. It’s just… I don’t want you to have any regrets about me in the future” you said, not looking him in the eyes.

“Love, if you think I could ever regret being with the person I love the most in this whole fuckin world, you’re crazy” he growled, but the look in his eyes was soft.

“You’re sure?” you asked.

“Yes” he nodded.

You weren’t really used to someone being such a permanent fixture in your life. You usually felt like everyone just passed you by in life, never staying, and it often made you wonder if there was something wrong with you. Bakugou was different, he’d been there for you since you met in your first year at UA and you hoped the two of you would be together for as long as life allowed.

“I know that face, what are you thinking about?” he asked.

“I know this might sound a bit naive, but I hope we’ll be together as long as we live” you smiled.

“I’ll love you for the rest of my life, you can count on that” Bakugou said and placed a kiss on your forehead, wrapping his arms around you tighter.

You didn’t feel so bad anymore, there was hope for the future after all, especially as long as Bakugou was by your side.

His friends always complain about not knowing what to get their wives and girlfriends for their birthdays but he has absolutely no problem. He has a whole list of things that you have looked at for longer than usual or hinted that you wanted.

Bakugou will sometimes come home to you napping on the couch (which you hate doing because it hurts your back) but it just shows how long your day was and how tired you were. So in knowing this he will take his time carrying you to bed and changing you out of your work clothes so you’re more comfortable.

It’s almost creepy how often he can sense what your craving. Like you must have tell tale signs that mean you want onigiri because he will make it for you.

Also speaking on the note of food, you get cranky when you are hungry so sometimes when he takes you out for a quick meal and you are being snippy he knows it’s not because your mad at him, your belly’s just empty :( He will always keep his cool though and let you get past your hangry phase with a smile on his face (bc honestly he thinks it’s cute).

Bakugou wakes you up every morning with a “good morning beautiful” and a smile because he knows how much you like it when he praises/is sweet with you.

Will be extra protective in public because he sees how flustered and mesmerized with him you get when he is closed off to everyone but you.

He loves to show off his muscles for you whether it be just getting out of the shower or gym pictures he loves it. Only because he likes to have his beautiful wife ogle him for what he’s worked so hard for (and he knows how much of an added bonus you think it is that he’s hot)

Wants to tell you soon that he’s ready to build a family with you because you’ve been dying for it for forever. Dropping subtle hints about your friends getting pregnant or “look at this cute baby!” but he might not be quite ready so maybe a puppy to start.

Not only a baby but also the puppy thing. You want one so bad and he just watches you play with the dogs and do your little baby voice to coo at them because “suki they’re so cute!”

Bakugou knows you like the back of his hand. everything. the good the bad even the ugly and he might not say it enough but he can’t believe that he ended up with someone as perfect as you and he will love you till the day he dies, and all the lives after that.
