I don’t see it brought up very often, but in-game NPCs each have emojis that they favor and will use in certain situations. Guide and the Arms Dealer specifically use fighting emojis with each other, even if they don’t mind being neighbors. (The Arms Dealer outright admitting that he knows about the voodoo doll and would like to shoot it supports this, but it’s fun to talk about the emojis.)

Anywho. Guide’s aura makes him an immediate target of suspicion. The Arms Dealer isn’t 100% sure what’s up, but he doesn’t like it.

There’s a serial killer in your town. Unfortunately for them you are a necromancer and you have fun driving that maniac insane.

Some panels don’t look all too different without the lighting/detailing, but in others, it really does the heavy lifting, haha. Difference between the top and the bottom is colored lineart, character lighting/shading, background lighting/shadows, and some assorted foliage in the background.

i really like when crows just insert themselves into a group of other birds and then act like there is absolutely nothing strange about it
