i hope the people on here post for themselves and not others
like you don’t owe anyone shit and you shouldn’t be posting on here for people to make them feel better or whatever when you could or need to do that for yourself
there’s nothing wrong with trying to help others to a point
because you’re just as important as they are
don’t forget that
you should always come first
Legend of Korra is great because it’s during the early 1850’s but add in some benders, world peace, and woman’s rights
I don't have to do anything to deserve a fulfilling life
every social interaction i initiate feels like i’ve violated like 15 untold rules
one thing i need to start living by is “become the thing that you want” if i want friends who throw themed parties maybe i should start throwing those parties. if i want someone who writes me love letters maybe i should start writing letters for the people i love. if i want to hang out at museums and pretty cafes maybe i should invite my friends to these places. and maybe even then i won’t find the kind of people i want to be around. but then i would have become the exact person i want to be around. and maybe that’s good enough.
having a soft small pet is like, you are so vulnerable, you are biting me, I am responsible for your fragile life in almost every way, your knife hands are in my stomach, I love you more than anything, stop eating plastic you heathen, I cannot save you from the slow march of age or explain to you the divergence of our life spans which consumes me
no offense but the soft uncertain kiss followed by a pause where the people look each other in the eyes and then fucking pull eachother back into a more passionate kiss will always be the most soul destroying trope , catch me lying on the fucking ground sobbing and rewatching The Scene™✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
I personally would like to see the opposite. Like the mean popular girl gets superpowers and is shunned by everyone because they’re all scared of her, and her boyfriend breaks up with her and the only people that don’t hate her are the people she once bullied, so she starts hanging out with them, learns the error of her ways, and learns to control her powers
Do we have enough YA books with "Nobody girl suddenly realizes she has incredible power that could save/destroy the world, and now she has to fight for a group of people while trying to decide which love interest to choose, one of which has only noticed her because of said incredible power" for it to become an official trope
hey, I’m Del! ♟️🪐🥀🐌he/they/she | battleaxe bilife is spectacular, enjoy it!!!<3
