"Egyotian trend sonh!!-- "
But at the end, i'm not that different from any of you. I just want to be another person's special someone. I don't want to be other people's "special" "someone".
I was listening to some jazz music recently and found this song "They Can't Take That Away from Me" (sung by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong) and after thinking about it for a while I thought hang on this fits Layton too perfectly
Lyrics:
The way you wear your hat
The way you sip your tea
The memory of all that
No, no, they can't take that away from me
The way your smile just beams
The way you sing off-key
The way you haunt my dreams
No, no, they can't take that away from me
We may never, never meet again
on the bumpy road to love
Still I'll always, always keep the memory of
The way you hold your knife
The way we danced till three
The way you've changed my life
No, no, they can't take that away from me
No, they can't take that away from me
sorry to all the rhythm thief fandom. i got too used to calling charlie a he/him at first that learning charlie was a she/her was like being thrown COLD WATER at the FACE. and then learning charlie was very transcoded was like being thrown HOT WATER at the FACE right after the COLD WATER at the FACE and i, honestly, have been thrown water of multiple temperatures for misgendering characters so i pretty much would rather call charlie......... charlie
Gender is like a label. with your category on it.
Imagine this: a pink label, a blue label. You place it in your shirt when you enter this job. Pink label employees and blue label employees are percieved as different. But then, things start to get weird.
As pink label employees are sorted out of blue labels to work in other stuff, blue labels see them as inferior because of their "easy work". There's a lot of fights going on because of the "disbalanced" work, when both labels get the same treatment and work. But now, they no longer do. Now the treatment to pink labels is worse. And then every person introduced to the workplace is introduced to a (labelist) mindset where the both labels are against each other. They're always disbalanced, even if they are assigned the same amount of work. There's still people who slack and people who work extra hours, but it comes down to their choice. Until it no longer does.
And then, someone doesn't like their label.
Maybe someone feels better with the blue label on them.
Maybe someone would prefer a yellow label.
as a person who calls her scribbles art, writes joke fanfic but can write for stuff, cringe roleplays with all friends possible and as offrol as possible, doodles on scrap paper every day, and makes struggle meals even in the brightest moments, please do ! you'll be happier
anyway dont let anyone take away your joy. draw art that isnt good. write writing that isnt good. do cringe roleplay with your friends. doodle on scrap paper. make meals that suck.

The subject of Professor Layton “copycats” came up in conversation last night, so I gathered up the three examples that I know of off the top of my head.
May’s Mysteries and Doctor Lautrec are the two that most clearly borrow from Layton’s presentation, gameplay, and overall tone, setting, and theme. Rhythm Thief is the most loosely connected of these three, with rhythm minigames! And yet, it always struck me as very “Laytonesque.”
Do you know of others?
holds your head and gazes lovingly into your eyes. but like. in a platonic way. kisses your cheeks softly, holds you close. but like. not really. actually like. like. uh huh. platonically. just little friends, even.
