Have you ever thought of Hantengu going as far as to be a yandere to his victims? You know, to give them more trauma and fear? I just kinda see him as the guy to unleash some untamed, terrifying, and traumatizing obsession from his clones on his victims? Maybe it can also be an act just to have the poor victim more terrified before doing what he originally planned to?

What would Hantengu's wife be called (other than victim) because she has 5/6 husbands on her side? I mean, we all know womanizer, but she's not with ladies, but men (demons)? Is there a term with that a woman has more than one husband in a marriage?

The thing about Hantengu...

He's so seemingly weak on the outside, so frail and thin and old but he's so strong. And what makes him a sick bastard is the fact that he /knows/ he is strong. This man cowers in fear even as this horrendous creature yet he went full Order 66 on his wives and kids. He stabbed a blind man to death after he confronted Hantengu about his stealing. He wants you to believe he is weak and vulnerable so he can continue to kill and not get caught. Not because he feels a deep shame for the murders but because he can't handle the consequences that come with being guilty. Could he have a personality disorder? Yes. Absolutely. And the clones are my backing. I have no idea if his malicious tendencies are because he was neglected as a boy or not, but he shivers and cries as though he genuinely doesn't remember committing such crimes. Unless of course he's a great fucking actor, but this is not likely. He may truly be delusional.

His physical manifestation as a demon has eyes sunken further into his head than when he was human, glowing red with yellow irises so small his kanji is hardly even visible. As a human his eyes were still sunken but buggy and all white. No irises to be seen until he widened his eyes in realization at the magistrate who condemned him to death. There's an aura of anxiety that surrounds him, yes, but speckled in pure evil. His appearance is so cold but inside he is burning with a fiery rage and intent to kill. He took the last breath of countless lives in his lifetime and as a demon, he devoured even more, ripping them to shreds like a rabid beast. He is creepy and calculated- his correction to Gyokko with his recollection of how many years since the last summons was quick and it shows in his time alone, he is hung up on power and battle. He WANTS to unleash his young and handsome clones. He WANTS to live vicariously through them completely unharmed. He felt as though his evil was unlimited as a demon, something a human man can not relate to.

I love him because he is complex, dark and psychological. He is a mentally sick man, but god I find him so sexy and I don't know why. It's not that I romanticize mental illness, I myself am diagnosed BPD and DID and there is nothing sexually appealing about what I go through, but Hantengu is remarkably sensual in the way that his mind won't let him survive without making sure you know you've upset him, the way his collar bones show through the V line opening in his silky kimono, his joints and masculine bones exposed through his tight and withered skin... His unruly black hair that rests upon his narrow shoulders, his rugged demonic nails and pointed chin with defined jawline and cheekbones... The way each tendon pulls with every turn... The Adams apple in his exposed neck... Never truly seeing his facial features in the light, never truly seeing all the little details in each line and protrusion... Just an expression of sheer terror. A traditional Oni.

To me he is beautiful. To me he is mine.

I love him.

It'll be an even bigger terror.

Since the design material collection books finally arrived, I was able to scan some of the pages and visualize the demon's heights. Some of them are officially stated while for others, I had to approximate based on comparison. Explanation for each of those is stated below.

First of are Muzan (179 cm), Kokushibo (190 cm), Doma (187 cm) and Akaza (173 cm). Their heights are all officially stated in the Demon Corps Records.

Next are Hantengu (166 cm), Gyokko (between 150 and 170 cm in his vase), Daki (~ 178 cm) and Gyutaro (~ 190 cm). The later two don't have an official height mentioned but the size of the head is a good measure to compare the characters in the official designs. Daki is of course taller because of her shoes, while in the anime, Gyutaro is hunched over a lot. But from the image of the design material from the Entertainment District Arc which I've used, you can see what his height is standing straight, or at least as straight as physically possible for him.

I'd like to add that while Gyokko's height is known, if you go based off the official art, he can be taller than 170 cm, depending on how straight he positions himself and how far he comes out of his vase.

Hantengu's clones

Looking at the clones next, you can see Zohakuten (~ 165 cm) and first-split Sekido and Karaku (~ 190 cm). Zohakuten's height is more or less official since we are shown the direct comparison with Tanjiro. The other two were again compared with the head sizes and proportions.

Second-split Sekido and Karaku as well as Aizetsu and Urogi are generally the same size (~ 190 cm) since their proportions don't really change. However, Urogi's anatomy generally affects his height, but not too much as when he's standing on his legs, his hips would be around the same height as the others'.

The smallest of the clones is the main body / fear clone (~ 19 cm). The tallest being Urami (~ 260 cm) who is seen directly next to Tanjiro in the design material.

Gyokko's height when morphed

Morphed / true-form Gyokko (~ 215 cm) is directly compared to Muichiro whose height is known (160 cm), making a visualization of his size easy.

People would say, but I was happy here. My mother's temple, as long as some other legends, was a nice place, with a hill overlooking great landscapes of forests, greenery, rivers, and streams. It was a peaceful little place that I was in. My mother, Hira, the ten tailed lioness spirit that protects and guides mostly, stayed in her statue form. The others as well. Hīkan, a great lion; Hūgon, "a dark knight" black panther and Sungō, the great ancient sabertooth tiger. All of them were built by smaller, harmless spirits to protect the forest. Eventually, though, humans were bound to find our beautiful forests and take as they wanted. Our forests became smaller and smaller at that. Humans only took and took without any shame or concern. Thankfully enough, we made a peace where they can only take limited sources while putting up new ones to have a balance in a way at least.

I was currently collecting my stuff after talking with my mother in her rare moments where she'd "unfreeze" to talk with me, but I slowly came to a confused stop as I saw her lean down her head and say to me:

"My dear daughter, Anira, there will be troubles in the future that would try to take everything from you. Please promise me that you'll fight with everything you have and until you can't breathe anymore. I would much rather have my daughter die fighting than at the hands of a wicked creature..."

She looked like she would almost cry, especially at the last part. I slowly reached up and wiped her eyes while trying to comfort her.

"Don't worry, Mother, I'll always be safe. I promise you. You gave me a lot of great knowledge of almost everything I've known. I would also never fall into any kind of trouble in the world. You taught me how to handle life, and I'll survive."

"I know, but yet, I would need you to remember that before you were anything else that you build up, you were my baby, my only daughter, my joy and pride, my treasure. My everything and my world. If something bad ever happens to you, I won't know what I'll do to myself or with anything else..."

"I'll know, I promise. I'll always love you no matter what. I'll always keep your name powerful and pure as it was from the start."

Yet, Anira did not know at all at how she was already being spied on from a certain lying demon. Hira already knew about his position, and that's why she was worried. She knew the possible trouble the demon could do to her daughter. After all, she was older than Muzan and knew what every demon could do. She has hated the uppermoon 4 the most because she knows that her daughter would panic if she sees his bda. She knows what trouble Hantengu is. She has watched him fight dirty in every way after all, but one thing she knows is that she won't let anyone hurt her little girl, no matter what happens. She'll transform out and kill him herself if she needs to. One thing would be for sure, no one would hurt her daughter, never.

The Zenmeigan clan

The clan with the most powerful human eyes in the world, being literally able to see the muscles and tissues move in their opponents, to see their weaknesses with just a single movement of their body, the clan whose worse than starving barbary lions when killing their opponents, making their skulls into drinking cups and other bones as trophies to hang up.

But, also the clan who treats their women like gifts from every god, like they have been made with the gentlest and purest love on Earth, like if women were to disappear, the whole Earth would fall apart. Because that's what it'll happen based on their beliefs. Women are such powerful beings to them. They can make any house feel warm and welcoming, even if it's the worst one there is on the world. They've also been known to "steal" girls and raise them to better believe how powerful their presence alone can be.

One shall not speak bad about a woman in their presence, or they'd be taught a real lesson. Hundreds of men were skinned alive, cut out organs, beaten, broken, burnt, ripped apart just because they were treating their wife as lower than an ant. How can they? That woman can give them heaven if they were only nice and understanding!! But no!! They'll be an asshole, so they'll face an asshole's fate!!!

What happened to the woman? Simple, impressed, and spoiled until she chooses a husband of the real right clan that can treat her like she deserves and should be treated like from the start. After all, every man believed in the "happy and healthy woman, great fortune and luck for the rest of the generations". And it had been proven true from the start of their existence and history of the clan.
