ES|| Tengo la ilustración de un nuevo animalito, amante de las plantas, en proceso. Solo le queda un poquito más de color y los detalles finales! Se trata de una preciosa greyhound adoptada que es más feliz que una perdiz si la dejas subir a un sofá. Su nombre le va como anillo al dedo, se llama “Haizea”, viento en euskera. Qué bonito es poder dar una segunda vida a un animal en apuros. Si estáis pensando en compartir vuestra vida con un animalito no lo compréis, recordad que hay muchas asociaciones y protectoras como @sosgalgos @galgos112oficial @galgo.espanol.espana @galgosdelsol , que luchan por los derechos de los animales, donde podéis adoptar. Los animales no son un negocio, un objeto o un capricho que comprar y, cuando ya no nos satisface como querríamos, tirarlo o abandonarlo. It’s wonderful to be able to give a second life to an animal that has suffered. If you are thinking of sharing your life with an animal, do not buy it! Remember there’re many associations like @greyhoundrescue who fight for the animals rights, and where you can adopt a lot of different animals. Animals are not a business, an object or a whim to buy and, when it no longer satisfies us as we would like, throw it away or abandon it. They’re a living being, a friend and a possible new family member!

ES|| Hace muchos meses que no aparecía por aquí… Entre el trabajo y problemas de salud que llevaba arrastrando desde finales del año pasado (y de los cuales ya estoy mucho mejor!) ha sido imposible llegar a todo, pero he vuelto! Hoy os traigo uno de los proyectos en los que he trabajado estos meses: la imagen para el cartel y el programa del espectáculo de final de curso de la escuela de baile Endantza . El tema era la “humanidad planetaria” como lema de diversidad, inclusión y respeto, no solo entre la humanidad misma sino con todo el planeta tierra y lo que lo rodea. Partiendo de esta idea decidí incluir bailarines diversos en un planeta tierra natural, lleno de vida, que a su vez esta rodeado de planetas y astros. Deseo que os guste!🌙 EN|| I haven't been here for many months... Between work and health issues that I've been dragging on since the end of last year (I'm much better now!) it has been impossible to get to everything, but I’m back! Today I bring you one of the projects I've been working on these last months: the image for the poster and the program for the Endantza dance school end-of-year show. The theme was "planetary humanity" as a motto of diversity, inclusion and respect, not only among humanity itself but with the entire planet earth and its surroundings. Based on this idea, I decided to include diverse dancers on a natural planet earth, full of life, which in turn is surrounded by planets and stars. I wish you like it!🌙

Esta ilustración ya tiene unos añitos, pero aún me encantan los colores brillantes que me transportan en un flash a los recuerdos de las navidades de cuando era pequeñita, con todos los papeles estampados de los regalos, las luces y la bolas de los arboles de navidad. This illustration is already a few years old, but I still love the bright colors that transport me in a flash to my Christmas memories of when I was little girl, with all the stamped and colorful papers of the gifts, the lights and the Christmas tree balls . My art vs artist 2024. This year I have no photo in the center (you all must know I’m quite camera-shy) but a cute self-portrait. I was always a little scared of drawing humans and especially myself, but, for me, this year I think it has been the year of illustrator and self-portraits.

Tree house. I've always liked to think about the whole life around and within the trees. It's a beautiful spring day and a woodpecker comes out the house and talks to Mrs. Frog who is quite outraged ... the baby birds make a lot of noise!!! What will the bees think? Casa árbol. Siempre he pensado en toda la vida que hay alrededor y dentro de los árboles. Es un precioso día de primavera y un pájaro carpintero sale con las legañas de casa y habla con la señora rana, la cual está bastante indignada ... Los polluelos hacen mucho ruido!! Que pensarán las abejas al respecto? Casa arbre. Sempre he pensat en tota la vida que hi ha al voltant i dins dels arbres. És un preciós dia de primavera i un pica-soques surt amb les lleganyes de casa i parla amb la senyora granota, la qual està força indignada... Els pollets fan molt soroll!! Que en deuen pensar les abelles?

traveling through a book (2020) || viajando a través de un libro (2020)

EN|| Hi! Perhaps this little frog looks familiar to you, I made a very similar one in a square format more than a year ago (Wow! Time flies, it almost seems like it was yesterday when I had to put on the headlamp to paint it, because the electricity had gone out). This one, unlike the one from a year ago, is in a vertical format, has more little characters and, together with the snail, the fish and a toucan (which I haven't shown you yet), they’ll be on @gallerynucleus collective exhibition "Power in number 7 ”, opening on September 3rd in Alhambra CA. The entire postcard, like the others, is 5”x7” and is made with watercolors, gouache, polychromos, neocolors and watercolor pencils Remember the exhibition will debut in person only and is “cash and carry”, meaning once someone buys a piece, the buyer takes it home instead of remaining on display. Quizás os suene un poco esta ranita, hice una muy parecida en formato cuadrado hará más de un año (Uau! El tiempo pasa volando, casi parece que fuera ayer cuando me tuve que poner el frontal, porque se había ido la luz, para poderla pintar). Esta, a diferencia de la de hace un año, es en formato vertical, tiene más personajillos y, junto al caracol, los peces y a un tucán, estarán en la exposición colectiva de “Power in number 7” de @gallerynucleus que se inaugura el 3 de septiembre en Alhambra CA. La postal entera, como las demás, hace 5”x 7” y esta hecha con acuarelas, gouache, polychromos y neocolors. Recordad que la exposición debutará solo en persona y es “cash and carry”. ES|| Mi conejito de pascua en cambio de ir a buscar huevos se ha ido a ver las estrellas de cerca! Os imagináis un mundo donde los conejos pudiesen construir sus naves aeroespaciales, ser astronautas y ir a charlar con los planetas? Sus cascos tendrían que ser gigantes para poder albergar sus largas orejas! 

EN || Instead of looking for eggs, my Easter bunny has gone to see the stars up close! Can you imagine a world where rabbits could build their own spaceships, be astronauts and go have a chat with the planets? Their helmets would have to be gigantic to accommodate their long ears!
