Yosuke has the ability to see youkai and stuff but he hated them because all they have ever brought for him was misfortune. His life changed when he met a mysterious transfer student by the name of Yu Narukami who can also interact with youkai--but that's not the end of it. Yu turned out to be full of surprises.

And so begin the journey of quirky friendship group, comedy, romance, and other things like some impending war and conspiracy between youkai and humans but that one is not important (*´ω｀*)

Yata styling Fushimi's hair...

This would be cute, like imagine post-ROK and Fushimi is wondering if he should change his hairstyle and Yata volunteers to help. Of course Yata's noticed that Fushimi styles his hair in a very similar manner as his dad used to, though he's never really sure how to bring this up to Fushimi. Fushimi's been looking at himself in the mirror lately and fiddling with his bangs, looking dissatisfied before turning away with a click of his tongue. Finally one day Yata can't keep quiet anymore and he sees Fushimi standing in the bathroom again, looking in the mirror with his hair still unstyled and looking like it used to back in the old days, and Yata steps in and is like hey why don't I style it for you. Fushimi glances coldly back at him, muttering that he doesn't need Yata's pity and besides Misaki's hair is a bird's nest. Yata's like what the hell it is not my hair is cool, Fushimi snorts all maybe for a middle schooler. Yata's like come on I'm being serious, let me style your hair for once, maybe you'll like it. Fushimi hesitates and then shrugs like well why not, Yata grins and is like trust me you'll love it.

He has Fushimi sit down in a chair and sets newspaper around them, getting some scissors and Fushimi's hair gel (and probably being like 'since when do you like hair gel so much anyway'). Fushimi tells him not to go overboard and Yata's all I won't I won't, I won't do anything to make you look weird I promise. Fushimi rolls his eyes like he's not so sure about that but he still sits there properly while Yata tries to decide what to do with Fushimi's hair. Imagine him just running his hands through it and even though Fushimi doesn't say anything he likes the feeling of Yata's hands massaging his scalp. Yata quietly asks why Fushimi started changing his hair in Scepter 4 anyway and Fushimi is silent for a moment before he mutters that he thought 'that guy's' hairstyle seemed more appropriate.Yata says he always liked Fushimi's hair in Homra better and Fushimi says if Yata's going to do that to his hair then don't even bother – that isn't the person Fushimi is anymore. Yata says Fushimi isn't his father either though, so why not try and find something that's just his own. Fushimi's surprised to hear Yata say it so plainly and then he gives this rueful smile and is like 'I'm in your hands, Misaki,' Yata grins and is all careful or I'll leave you bald.

So Yata takes his time styling Fushimi's hair, maybe trimming a little here and there and considering how it should look. In the end he hands Fushimi a mirror and maybe Yata did something kinda in between the middle school look and the 'Niki' look, like shorter bangs but still over the eye a little and looking at himself in the mirror it's like Fushimi's seeing someone entirely new. Yata says it looks good right, feeling all proud of himself. Fushimi stares at the mirror for a long time before finally ducking his head and mumbling '….it's good.' That just makes Yata smile even wider and he probably immediately wants to like get a picture of it, like it's about time he got the chance to enjoy looking at the real Fushimi Saruhiko, the one who isn't imitating anyone else and who's just being himself, the guy that Yata cares about the most.
