Original request from a lovely anon: Could you write a Matt MurdockXReader where they knew each other since they were young and when Matt gets blinded she was there for him and such. But when he left for Law School she stayed and she trained and turned into “Shadow” and she tries to protect Hells Kitchen and when Matt comes back they meet up as regular friends, each not knowing the other’s identity. They then meet up and they recognize their voices and idk. You can change it up if you would like. (Thank you)
A/N: I did end up changing it up a little bit, and I hope that’s alright! This was super interesting for me to write, so thank you for sending in the request!
Pairing: Matt MurdockxReader
Word Count: 2410
Warnings: Mild language, other than that, nothing

“So, law school, huh?”
“Yeah…” His hand on my bicep tightens.
“You don’t sound too pleased about it, Matty.” I say. “What’s eating you?”
“I’m just a little apprehensive about leaving Hell’s Kitchen, that’s all.” He shrugs lightly.
“Oh come on, you’ve been wanting to get out since before you were blinded.” A few onlookers gasp at my insensitive words, but Matt just chuckles. He hates it when people tiptoe around him, so I don’t. “You should be celebrating your escape.” I pause and turn to face him, gently grabbing his shoulders and shaking him lightly. “You’re finally escaping hell. Literally.”
“I guess you’re right.” He says, chuckling lightly.
“Besides,” I say, once again leading him down the walkway. “Without me to cling onto, you’re definitely gonna get a ton of ass.”
“(Y/N)!” He cries.
“What? It’s true, Matt! Girls love guys like you.”
“Guys like me?” He questions, the smirk on his face evident in the tone of his voice. “You mean blind guys?”
“Yes!”
“Yes? What do you mean yes?”
“What I mean is that girls like funny, kind, sweet, smart, talented and handsome blind guys, such as yourself.” I explain. “And without me by your side, all of them are bound to flock to you like they’re bees and you are a gorgeous blind flower with the best pollen around.”
“Are you saying you were the reason I got zero dates in high school?”
“Oh please, the way I lead you around most people thought we were dating.” I roll my eyes at him. “At any given time I had a girl come up to me tell me how lucky I was to be in a relationship with you. We were a truly heart breaking couple you and I, Matt. What a shame it had to come to an end.”
“Oh? And how did “we” end exactly?” I can tell without looking at him that he’s trying to hold back his laughter.
“Oh it was simply tragic.” I say my voice dripping with sarcasm. “It was the middle of the summer after we graduated. The air was hot, but our hearts were cold. We couldn’t handle the pressure of being so perfect anymore! And so we parted ways, never to be lovers again.”
“That sounds like one of those terrible straight to video movies your mom likes to watch.” He snorts loudly before bursting out into laughter.
“How do you think I came up with it, dude?” I manage to say before laughing with him. Soon enough we come to a stop in front of Matt’s apartment building. “Well, this is your stop.”
“Could you walk me up?” He asks.
“I know you can manage it.” I say, rolling my eyes. “You may be blind, but it’s not like you can’t see.”
“Huh?”
“What?”
“I thought you had said-”
“I didn’t say anything.” I say cutting him off. “Come on, let’s get you upstairs.”
-Fast forward 7 years-
I’m asleep and the phone rings. I look at the alarm clock, and it’s nearly 8:30. Who in heaven’s name is calling me? It’s Saturday. I have the day off. No one should be calling me. Regardless of this person’s wrongdoings, I pick up my cellphone and answer the call.
“Hello?” I answer, the word coming out in a groan.
Are you seriously still in bed? A familiar voice says on the other end of the line.
“Shut the fuck up, Murdock, not all of us have a human alarm clock.” I grumble, slowly sitting up in bed, trying to rub the sleep from my eyes.
Hey, Foggy is my best friend. He counters.
“Oh? What does that make me, Matty, chopped liver?” He just laughs in response.
If the shoe fits.
“You know, I would beat you senseless if you weren’t blind.”
Good thing I can’t see shit then, isn’t it? He asks, sounding like he’s ready to laugh again.
“Yeah,” I answer. “For you.”
We still on for coffee?
“Wouldn’t miss it for the world.” I unwillingly peel the covers away from my body and get out of bed, stumbling to the bathroom to get washed up.
We’re meeting at th-
“Yeah, I know, the cathedral,” I interrupt. “Really, Matt. I can remember stuff. It’s you I’m worried about.”
Don’t be, (Y/N). I know this city like the back of my hand.
“The thing is, you’ve probably gotten a new freckle or mole or something since the last time you saw it.” I say, starting the water for a shower. “Just don’t get lost, okay? I don’t know if I’ll be able to find you this time.”
I’m not going to get lost. I’m not fifteen anymore.
“Sure you’re not.” I chuckle. “I’ll meet you there in an hour, okay?”
Alright, see you then.
“See ya, Matty.”
We hang up and I hop in the shower to clean up from a rough night. I was out late as usual, beating up the stray thug and would be rapist. Everything was normal until a band of ninjas came at me and nearly took me out. Yes. I said ninjas. Ninjas in New York. Sounds like a terrible straight to DvD movie a day-care would have, but never play because they’ve gotten too many complaints from parents. Regardless, ninjas in New York. Very dangerous. I don’t recommend engaging them when they come anywhere near you. I just barely got out of there before the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen showed up to take them down. I stuck around just long enough to watch him take a couple of guys to the ground, err, roof. He had a sort of covering over his face. It covered everything from the tip of his nose up. As dark as it was, there’s no way he would have been able to see through the fabric, let alone take out the number of men he did with the sheer skill with which he did it. In that lighting and with the cover over his face, he had to have been blind. But that begs the question, if he is blind, then how did he do it? Who could have that sort of skill set?
My train of thought continues as I get out of the shower, towel dry my body and hair, get dressed and even as I’m leaving my apartment.
This entire occurrence has to be one of the absolute weirdest and most awe inspiring things I’ve seen during my night shift. Hell’s Kitchen certainly is a holding tank for weirdos. Regardless of the number of weirdos in my city, I am definitely glad the Devil showed up when he did. If he hadn’t I might be a murder scene right now. Still, where did he come from? There were no reports of
It’s not long till I’m approaching the front gates of the cathedral. Matt is already there, cocking his head like he does when he’s listening to something really intently.
“Hey there, Mr. Big Time Lawyer Man, how goes the big time law work?” I call.
“Oh you know, just big time law work in a dinky big time law firm that Foggy and I founded ourselves.” He says, turning in the direction of my voice.
“It’s good to see you, Matty.” I say, wrapping my arms around his shoulders in a hug.
“It’s good to see you too, (Y/N).” He says, hugging me back.
“Ooh, a comedian and a lawyer.” I pull away from him and poke his nose gently. “How is it that you don’t have a girlfriend?”
“I can’t see myself with any of the women I meet.”
“Shit’s getting old, Matt.” I snort.
“Yeah yeah, I know, but no one else lets me get away with it like you do.” A grin spreads across his features.
“That is true.” I nod, offering him my arm. “You ready to go?”
“Of course.” He nods, gently grasping my bicep. “Caffeinate me, baby.”
“See, it’s stuff like that that made everyone think we were dating.” I chuckle.
“Are we really back on this topic again?” He asks.
“Oh we’re always on this topic, Matt. Always.”
“Good to know we can just pick up where we leave off.”
“Perks of being such good, long time and stubborn friends.” We walk down the street, headed in the direction of the best coffee joint in Hell’s Kitchen. “We could probably pick up where we left off on a conversation from fifteen years ago and it would be like no time has passed.”
“In that case, how could you ever think that the second generation of pokemon was better than the first?” He questions.
“Hey, don’t question my choices blind boy, the series just went downhill after the third generation, it was the last season and game before the beginning of the end.” I argue. “They’ve got a living chandelier now.”
“Seriously?”
“Yeah, not to mention a walking bag of garbage. Do you wanna know what it’s evolution is?”
“Do I even want to know?”
“It’s like the contents of the dumpster behind Josie’s bar came to life.”
“Gross.”
“Yeah. Exactly!” I cry. “Why do you even care about me liking the second generation better than the first anyways? You couldn’t even watch it!”
“Just to piss you off, (Y/N).” He says, laughing quietly. “Just to piss you off.”
“Good to know we never moved past that point in our relationship.” Matt just grins at me in response.
When we make it to the cafe we order our drinks and just talk. We talk about anything and everything. He tells me about Foggy and Karen and how all three of them ended up working together. I talked to him about working at the shitty bank down the street and the weird people I see come and go every single day. We talk about the time we’ve been away, what we’ve done, what we’ve learned and who we’ve dated. As far as I can tell, he’s the same old Matt Murdock, but I know better than that. Something about him has changed, I can feel it, but I can’t quite put my finger on what it is. I shrug it off as we near the end of our visit and he has me walk him home.
“Do you want to come up?” He asks.
“Nah, I can’t.” I answer, trying to keep my breathing and heart rate normal, just in case his hearing is strong enough to tell I’m lying. “I’ve got a work thing. It’s super important, otherwise I would try to get out of it,”
“Alright.” He nods.
“It was really great visiting with you, Matty.” I pull him into a strong hug. “I’ve missed having you around.”
“I’ve missed you too, (Y/N).” He says hugging me back briefly before letting go of me. “We should do this again some time.”
“Maybe I can meet your friends next time.” He nods as he walks up stoop, waving goodbye to me. “See ya later, Murdock.”
-Three hours later-
I sit, crouched on a rooftop, waiting for some sign of wrongdoing going on in the city. It seems like a pretty slow night so far. No one’s tried to jump, rape or rob anyone so far, and no ninjas have showed up yet so I’m pretty bored. What’s the point of hero-ing if no one needs to be saved.
With a heavy sigh, I heft myself up from my spot, ready to leave, when I hear a light ‘thump’ alerting me to a newcomer on the roof. I turn around slowly to find the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen behind me.
This ought to be fun. I think.
I slowly approach him, looking him up and down, taking in his stance, posture and the sort of aura he lets off. Everything about this man is familiar, and suddenly I can piece everything together.
“Since when are you in the vigilante business, Murdock?” I question. “Thought you were blind, kid.”
“How do you know who I am?” He says, cocking his head to the side.
“You seriously can’t tell?” I ask. He shakes his head, ‘no’, and I sigh. “I thought you were better at the whole “listening to people” thing. Can’t you recognize my voice?”
“(Y/N)?” He says incredulously. “How did you know?”
“Something about you seemed different when we met for coffee today. Something about you changed.” I explain. “It also helps that I realized the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen was blind after he saved me the other night.”
“So you’re The Shadow the street thugs have been talking about?”
“That’s what they’re calling me?” I raise my eyebrows in surprise. “I didn’t know I’d made a name for myself.”
“From what I’ve heard you’ve taken down street crime by fifteen percent since december.” He says. I can hear the slight smirk in his voice.
“What can I say?” I shrug. “I just really kick ass.”
“How’d you come to be “The Shadow”?” He asks, putting my alias in air quotes.
“A little over a year after you left for college I started training with someone. Sick, stubborn old bastard, but he was good.” I explain. “He told me about a previous student of his. No one after him seemed to make a good impression on him. Something tells me you were that student.”
“You trained with Stick?” He sounds almost angry.
“Yeah.” I nod, folding my arms across my chest. “He left after a year or so to go find someone else to fail him. Once he was gone, something made me want to try to help clean up the city or something. So, here I am.”
“Stick abandoned you too, huh?”
“Yeah, but who needs him anyways?” I turn back to look out over the rooftops. “Dude sucks.”
“Very astute, (Y/N).” He says, coming to stand at my side.
“Don’t use lawyer talk with me, Matty, I only went to community college.” Suddenly he cocks his head, clearly hearing something I can’t. “What is it?”
“Gang a few blocks over.” He answers. “I can’t quite tell what they’re doing.”
“Well, duty calls.” I smirk and take a few steps back before sprinting forwards and leaping across the gap between two buildings.
“This could be the beginning of a very strenuous partnership.” Matt mutters before following after me.
“Don’t be like that, Matty.” I say. “You’re never gonna get rid of me. I’m you’re new shadow, right?”

Thank you so much for reading! Feedback would be greatly appreciated!
You should do story where Loki x reader are together during AOU and during Stark’s party when everyone is trying to lift the hammer the reader gives it a try and lifts it. Idk what should happen after that.
//Okay I made a slight change because if (Y/N) could move the hammer that means Asgardian business and that would cause trouble so vv sorry :) // ——————————-
Loki was a large nuisance around the Avengers. Even after he apologized for everything, and managed to get out of his Asgardian prison sentence.
The only one he was kind to was (Y/N). “His (Y/N),” he reminded himself daily.
The way they met would forever be an Avenger favorite. (Y/N) was brought in with very dangerous skills with water. She could control it at her will. Loki thought it suited her very well; the way her movements seemed liquid.
He could watch her for hours. The way her eyes would light up whenever music played. Not the new kind, but classics that had a taste of a different era. She would grab his hand and laugh while they stumbled around the massive lounge.
He loved to run his hands through her wild hair and always stated how opposite her personality contrasted. She was calm with bright eyes and soft skin, and she made everyone look twice when they saw her.
So he had no idea how she had been so taken with him from the beginning. As soon as she caught sight of him standing in her new dwelling, she smiled at him and talked to him for hours about anything and everything; ranging from questioning life to the cuteness of koalas. He was wrapped around her finger quite soon.
He would do anything she asked. Anything, except attend Tony’s monthly parties. He hated the social interaction, and would much rather tuck himself in the library with (Y/N) hooked to his side. (Y/N) however, enjoyed the Avengers’ antics far too much, and always tried to persuade Loki to join in on the fun, to which he politely declined.
So it was at one of Tony Stark’s famous parties, that she sat laughing while the other avengers attempted to lift Thor’s hammer. They all stopped laughing when Steve made it budge. He quickly stopped once he saw Thor’s face and retreated. Thor gave a chuckle, but anyone could tell it was forced.
“Oh, you’re laughing (Y/N), but go ahead and try,” Clint pestered with a grin taking up his face. (Y/N) knew she couldn’t pick it up with her hands so she quickly accumulated the surrounding water supply and pushed it under the hammer until it began to rise.
“That’s cheating, (Y/N)!” Tony screeched at her. She just giggled an agreement out and set the weapon back on the table.
“A worthy display, Lady (Y/N), but I feel that doesn’t deem you worthy,” he chuckled with a raised brow.
“Worthy? How could you be worthy? You’re all killers. You want to protect the world, but you don’t want it to change. There’s only one path to peace… your extinction,” a deep electronic voice emerged from the mangled body of an iron man suit. The Avengers stepped back and looked to Tony in question. They silently listened to the android’s speech until it remarked about killing someone.
“You killed someone?” Steve asked in concern. Tony and Bruce exchanged a glance and muttered ‘Ultron’ to each other. (Y/N) quickly held her hands near the pipes of the water supply.
Everyone quickly jumped into action once the Iron Legion drones began to attack them. The water burst from the pipes and cut through them like a filet knife. (Y/N) was doing great until there were two attacking her at once; one held her hands down and another slammed her head on the hard flooring. The bots were quickly destroyed after bursts of green magic spread through their hardware.
The rest of the team quickly realized, though Ultron’s body was destroyed, he wasn’t. After seeing the damaged state (Y/N) was in Tony raced over; hovering where she laid motionless in Loki’s arms. Green mist seeped out of Loki’s hands as they covered (Y/N)’s bloodied and torn wrists, leaving her skin healed. He clutched her to his chest and held her away from Tony. “You’ve done enough, Anthony,” he muttered through clenched teeth.
He picked her battered figure off the ground and carried her to the tower’s care unit. A head wound would take much more than magic to heal.
He would do anything she asked. Anything, even attend one of Tony Stark’s famous parties.
Omg! It's beautiful
A century’s sleep (A Good Omens piece based off Psyche surprising sleeping Cupid by Louis Jean François Lagrenée)
I’ve lost interest in painting this so here it is, unfinished. Also, i’m not calling it a repaint this time because I've strayed so far from the original it’s more of a “inspired by” or “loosely based off” rather than a repaint.
you are not better than fat people!
even REALLY fat people!
even fat people who don’t put a lot of time into their appearance!
even fat people who wear clothes you think are unflattering!
your appearance literally does not make you better than a fat person. you are not more fun to hang out with because you’re not fat. you are not funnier, smarter, or more interesting by virtue of not being fat. you aren’t harder working, you don’t have more self-control, you don’t have your life more together.
the only difference between you and fat people is that they have to put up with a lot of harassment, discrimination, exclusion, and other bullshit that you don’t even think about.
try not to add to it.
Request: The one where the reader was Bucky’s partner during his HYDRA years and have been living together in his apartment, dating and laying low on the radar. That is until he was suddenly brought into a mess.
Warning/s: Contains Civil War spoilers.
Author’s note: I feel like this imagine didn’t turn out the way I expected it to be. But I hope you guys like it!
Dating and being on the run with her ex-partner in their HYDRA years was awesome and tough. Awesome because the two of them are finally free from everything that had happened and isn’t HYDRA’s puppet anymore. Tough because now that HYDRA has fallen, the whole world is on to the remaining agents of the fallen agency.
(Y/N) and Bucky had finished buying fruits and other things in the nearby market and headed back before someone recognized them. While they crossed the road, she noticed Bucky turn the other way. She raised an eyebrow and followed him to the newspaper stand. She caught a glimpse of the vendor scurrying away to the crowd.
She furrowed her eyebrows and watched as Bucky pick up a newspaper from the table. She looked over his shoulder and saw a headline about the Winter Soldier and a picture of a guy that had the same features as her boyfriend.
“Okay so when you told me that you were going out to buy our dinner for last night, you were actually going to go somewhere and bomb a building?” She asked him in curious disbelief.
Bucky shook his head and pursed his lips. “I didn’t do this.” he said and looked at her.
(Y/N) searched for a hint of lie in his eyes but found nothing. She clenched her jaw and looked around. “Someone’s on to us. Well, to you.” she said. “Let’s go.”
When they returned to their apartment, they found a man with a shield standing in front of the fridge and pick up a notebook on top. Bucky and (Y/N) exchanged knowing looks and watched him silently. Bucky held her hand just in case something happens.
“Heads up, Cap. Special forces are headed on south.” They heard someone say through his earpiece.
“Understood.” The man said.
He must have felt someone looking at him so he turned around to face them. He looked at both of them before his eyes settled on Bucky. “Do you know me?” he asked.
Bucky didn’t answer for a second. He only stared at him. “You’re Steve. I read about you in the museum.” he told him.
“They’ve set the perimeter.” The guy on the earpiece said.
The man, named Steve, placed the notebook down on the counter. “I know you’re nervous.” he stepped forward. “And you have a reason to be. But you’re lying."
"I wasn’t in Vienna. I don’t do that anymore.” Bucky told him. (Y/N) squeezed his hand in reassurance and he squeezed back.
“Well the people who think you did are coming here now. And they’re not planning taking you alive.” Steve told him. (Y/N) sighed in frustration and pinched the bridge of her nose.
“Oh great, this again.” she muttered.
“That’s smart. Good strategy.” Bucky said, looking up. He looked at her and squeezed her hand. (Y/N) sighed and went to the couch and removed the seats to grab her guns and knives.
“This doesn’t have to end in a fight, Buck.” Steve told them.
Bucky had a faint smirk on his features. “It always ends in a fight.” he simply said.
“You pulled me from the river.” Steve said, raising his voice slightly. “Why?"
Bucky sighed and looked at him. "I don’t know.”
Steve looked at him with slight annoyance. “Yes you do."
Suddenly two grenades have broke the windows. One landed on Steve’s shield while the other landed next to (Y/N). Bucky’s eyes grew wide and he grabbed her arm, pulling her next to him. Steve covered the grenade with his shield as it exploded.
The windows burst open and in came the police. The three of them fought them as they raided the area. (Y/N) wounded them with her guns and knives while the two ex-soldiers punched and kicked and blocked their shooting.
"Buck, stop! You’re gonna kill someone.” Steve told him, grabbing hold of his arm.
Bucky tackled him on the ground and punched the wooden floor beside Steve’s head. “I’m not gonna kill anyone.” he told him and grabbed his backpack. He threw it on the other building next to their apartment and it landed on the rooftop.
One special force had entered the area and began shooting at Bucky. Steve stood up in front of him and blocked the bullets with his shield. Bucky threw him to the side and walked up to the man while blocking the bullets with his metal arm. He flipped him over and knocked him down.
“You okay?” Bucky asked (Y/N). She nodded.
Someone had began shooting at the door. (Y/N) looked at Bucky and told him, “Follow me.” She kicked the door open and threw punches and kicks at the special forces in front of her. Bucky jumped down on the stairs and knocked down the police that were heading up to them. Steve followed them.
Bucky grabbed (Y/N)’s waist and broke a railing and swung down to the next floor, grabbing hold of the broken railing with his metal hand. He kicked the door open and both exited. (Y/N) helped Bucky knock the police down while Steve followed them, throwing his shield to help them. (Y/N) looked up at him and nodded her head towards him.
She watched as Bucky jump over the railings and grab hold of another railing below. He yelped in pain as he did so. (Y/N) rolled her eyes. “Bucky, you show off!” she yelled and ran down the stairs to meet with him.
Bucky kicked the door open and it led to a small path and the balcony. (Y/N) looked over to him in disbelief. “Oh no, don’t tell me we’re gonna jump.” she told him.
Bucky glanced at her and smirked. “We’re gonna jump.” He said before taking her hand. He dragged her along with him and jumped off the building they were in. (Y/N) shrieked and closed her eyes, waiting for the impact of the ground.
When their feet touched the ground, (Y/N) rolled around and groaned in pain. She clenched her fist and leaned her head back on the ground, panting.
Something blocked the sunlight on her face and she opened her eyes and saw Bucky standing above her. He grinned at her.
“That wasn’t too bad, was it, sweetheart?” He asked, extending his hand to her.
(Y/N) glared at him and took his hand. “You know, I would kick your ass right now if we weren’t chased by the special forces and Steve. But I’ll do it later, after all this is finished.” she told him.
Bucky smirked and grabbed his backpack. Both of them started running when someone had jumped out of nowhere and pounced on both of them, making them lose balance. They looked up and saw a person wearing a black suit and looked like a panther.
(Y/N) wolf-whistled. “Cool suit.” she told the new guy.
The guy charged towards Bucky and both started fighting. (Y/N) attempted to help him but she was kicked by the guy with the suit to the wall. She groaned in pain and watched as both men continued fighting. A helicopter started shooting at them but only lasted for a minute before someone flew by and pushed the thing.
Bucky pushed the guy off him and ran towards the edge of the building. He jumped down and so did the other guy. (Y/N) rolled her eyes in annoyance and stood up. “Thanks Buck.” she said to no one in particular and jogged towards the ledge where Bucky jumped down.
“Excuse me, ma'am.” Someone said behind her. She turned around and saw Steve running towards her. Before she could say anything, he jumped down and chased after the two guys.
(Y/N) sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. “And here I thought we’re gonna have a normal day today.” she said before jumping down, following the three guys.
When she got down to the tunnel, she saw the cars gathered around on one side. She ran towards it and climbed over. She squinted her eyes and saw Bucky take motorcycle with a car speeding behind him and a guy chasing after them far away. She walked to one of the cars and asked the driver to get out. She drove to where the three men are.
She saw someone flew above her followed by an explosion. She gasped and accelerated the car she was driving. She saw a car rolling around the place and caught a glimpse of Bucky and the other guy rolling on the ground with Steve running towards them. They were soon cornered by the special forces. A gray Iron Man suit also flew down with them.
“Stand down. Now."
(Y/N) pulled over and ran to the scene. "Bucky!” She yelled, grabbing the attention of everyone. She ran to Bucky’s side and looked around. Police forces were surrounding them with their guns pointed at her, Steve, and Bucky. Bucky held her hand and gave it a squeeze.
“Congratulations, Cap. You’re a criminal.” The guy with a gray Iron Man suit said. The police forces all circled around the three of them and pushed them down on their knees.
“uşor! hei!” (Y/N) told one of the police officers that pushed her down. (“Easy! Hey!)
Minutes later, she was locked in the same van as Bucky. Inside, she exhaled deeply and leaned her head against the van’s wall. Bucky noticed this and nudged her side. "Hey, are you okay?” he asked her.
(Y/N) nodded. “Yeah, I’m fine. Just tired from all the running and punching and stuff.” she told him. “By the way, thanks for leaving me all alone on the rooftop a while ago. It was pretty sweet of you.” she added, snickering.
Bucky realized what he had done and groaned. He shook his head and gave her an apologetic look. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to. I—"
(Y/N) cut him off with a laugh. "It’s alright. You were being chased, I know.” she said and scooted closer to him, leaning her head on his shoulder. “I’m just glad you’re alright.” she murmured.
(Y/N) failed to see the soft smile that crept up onto his features. He dropped a kiss on her hair and rested his head on hers.
Side note: For the part where the reader spoke a different language, I used google translate. So if the sentence is wrong, blame google translate hahaha.

Prompt : [y/n] can’t sleep because of the noise from the party coming from the appartment above hers. She decided to go confront her new neighbor.

The music was blasting in the whole residency. It was almost 1 A.M. when she was waken up by disturbance coming from the appartment above hers. “ Welcome to the Queens, “ she growled, putting her duvet on her face. It’s been two weeks only since she moved in this neighborhood with her father and she already regretted her father’s choice of career. First, she moved out of Maine, where she was borned and raised, then he decided to accept the promotion his job offered him, clearly the appartment was bigger than the last one, but he had a lot more hours to work. [y/n] has been busy all that time by getting the stuff out of the boxes, store all that business and by throwing out the box, discover the neighborhood a little. She glanced at her room, cursing at the noise’s responsible. It was the last day of the holidays and even if she knew she couldn’t sleep well with the idea of passing her last high school year without her friends, surrounded by unknowns people, she would rather be in silence. She turned her back and try to get back to sleep. One hour later, music was still on. She sat up straight, ready to kill someone. She was a very calm person, but better not risk to piss her off. And she was, pissed off. She put off some sweetpants, an Iron Man sweatshirt, her sneakers and decided to go visit her so-lovely neighbor. She closed the door with her keys and she climb up the stairs two by two. In front of the door, she changed her mind, saying to herself that she better not start to argue with the neighbors, at least for her dad. She was about to turn her heels, when she heard a group of people, apparently drunk, shouting from the other side of the door. She fumed. “ Never mind, I’m probably not the only neighbor who is pissed off. “ she tried to reassure herself. She banged several times on the door before a boy opened it. He was quite young, probably the same age as her. The hair were messy, the eyes were browns, and there were a stupid grin on his face. She looked at him sternly, understanding that he was quite loaded. “ - You’re the one living here? She asked - Yes, Yes, that’s me, to whom have I-I the honor?” We could sense how concentrated he was to answer. “ - Me, your new neighbor from below. It’s more that 2 A.M. So do a favor to everyone living here and shut the music please “ she blurted. She astonished herself ; she kept her temper while saying everything she wanted to say. Well done, [y/n]. She looked at him fixedly until he react. He let out a curse and an apology and went into the meanders of his appartment full of people. After a few seconds, she heard the music being shut and people complaining at the host. He came back after a moment without failing falling on someone, before reappear in front of her. “ - Thank you neighbor, I- “ She was cut by people leaving his appartment, greating your neighbor, wishing him a good night. They shoved him a little and she took a step back, not wanting to know the same fate. He grumbled about the cleaning and put his attention on her “ - I don’t remember your name, new neighbor, he joked - It’s because I didn’t gave it to you, neighbor. By the way, nice buddies, very helpful for the cleaning. - That’s not really my “buddies”, they’re mostly high school colleagues, in fact. I had the appartment for myself so I thought “ well, I can have a party”, “ he muttered, looking at his feet. She sighed and start to go away. “ - Well, I have to go, neighbor, but remember that just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Good luck for cleaning this mess. “ She waved at him before go down the stairs. “ - Thanks! I’m Peter…. by the way “ he called before heading home. He scratched his head, admiring the terrible mess left by his “friends”. He started cleaning up, fearing her aunt’s coming home early. Spider-man would have trash to take out tommorow.
She had the occasion to see him the next day. Happened that Peter Parker and her shared a few classes, in this new high school which was very much the same at her last. Peter was well different from the person she had met the day before. He was more of a loner and the people leaving his appartment yesterday , acted like they didn’t knew him. He had raised his head when she presented herself in class in the first period, recognizing the young woman he talked with the day before. She chatted with a few classmates and ate with them at midday. Even in Maine or here in New York, the schema was the same : sports guys’ table, cheerleaders’ table, geeks’s table, loners’ table, gothics’ table,etc.. She sighed, she wasn’t the type to girl to worry about thoses clichés, but she had to admit she felt lucky that she never been on the bottom of the social ladder. Even if she never had been of the top neither, thankfully. The idea of being the cliché girlfriend of a football player made her want to throw up. After lunch, she excused herself to go to the toilets. She put some fresh water on her face, to give her some courage for the rest of the day. While she was coming out of the toilet, she heard a thud from the other wall. She took a look before coming out, and saw a little crowd of football player in front of a locker. “ So Parker, you didn’t thanked me for bringing people to your party? Without me, I think you would have spend the night with your calculator! “ A player said, laughing, she remembered one of her classmate calling him Flash. She took a step aside , seeing Peter, blocked by Flash’s arm against one of the locker. Peter didn’t seemed to be bothered by the situation and kept the silence, which happened to anger the other. “ You seriously going to let me hit you without reacting? I’m more dissapointed by you that I already was Parker. “ he slipped in a surly tone.We could feel that his ego was touched, caused by the silence treatment Peter was giving him. Peter grinned, knowing he would pissed off the other and that he was going to get punched. He was waiting for the impact, but it didn’t come. Instead, a voice resonated behind Flash and his band. “ - Hey guys, can I get a high five? Because, attacking a personne and being four ? No, realy, what bravery, I applaud. “ [y/n] dropped, trying to be as cynic as possible. - Get away, newbie, you don’t want to have us on your back on your first day, do you ? Barked one of Flash’s sbire. - Oh yes, I’m going now, I’m impressed. Excuse my imprudence, she quipped, doing a little bow. Flash let go of Peter’s collar and came dangerously close from [y/n]. “ - Wanna play smart ass, but now, what are you’re gonna do? Saying, trying to get as close as he could from her, his hands in tight fists. - I let you the honnor to start, I’m not use to start fights. “ She felt her face going on the right side as she watched Flash fist moving, a smile on his face, obviously proud of himself. [y/n] smirked, touching her lip. She looked at her bloody thumb and smiled. He had managed to really pissed her off. “ On the other hand, I’m used to finish them “ she slipped before catching her shoulder. As Flash reverted his attention to her, she made an arm lock and managed to get him strap up on the floor. She landed four well-placed punch, one at his cheekbone, one at his nose, another one at his jaw and the last one at his brow bone. She stood up normally, looking at the others. “ Who’s next “ she peered. The others apologized and get Flash back before leaving, under [y/n]’s smile. She then turned to Peter, still standing at the locker. She surprised herself by being afraid of his reaction, but been even more surprised when this one applause. “ - Well, I’m glad I turned down the music last night, he laughed - Instead of taking danse class, my father had me teached how to defend myself. Even if the danse classes I took after helped me to associate elasticity and defense. “ she chortled, realizing that she was telling her life to a complete stranger. But weirdly, she liked that Peter Parker, there were something mysterious about him that she enjoyed. He laughed and become serious again while looking at her face. “ But you should get some water on your lips because you’re bleeding well” He stuttered, not really knowing what to do. She carried her hand back to her lips, and laughed while whipping the blood, leaving Peter and going back to the toilets. She put some water on her lips and a few minutes later, the bleeding had stopped. She came out and was surprised to see Peter waiting for her.He scratched his head and as he was about to talk, the bell rang in the hallway, now full of people. They went silently to they classroom and take their places. The end of the day came quickly, Peter and [y/n] could admire Flash pushing everyone on his way. It was sure, his ego has took a big ass punch. [y/n] spend her way back home talking to Peter, they went along quite well. She talked to him about a movie, and she asked him if he wanted to come to her appartment so she could lend him the DVD and he accepted. Coming home, she was surprised to see the door unlocked but felt relieved when she saw her dad’s imposing stature in the kitchen. “ - Dad it’s me! I didn’t expected you this soon! she exclaimed, hugging her dad from behind.Peter took a look of the appartment living room and turned back when he heard [y/n]’s dad laughed. - You think I was going to miss your first day of class? He laughed but his smile dissapeared when he looked at his daughter. What happened? Did you get into a fight? - Yes.But nothing serious. You should see the other one’s face. You know I can take care of myself, she hinted trying to ease her dad. It was the case. - Just because you can doesn’t mean you should , he protested, ruffling her her. “ She groused before remembering her neighbor’s presence. “ - By the way dad, this is Peter Parker, we have a few classes together and he lives on the apartment above us. Peter, this is my dad. “ She stepped aside and left the two men chat while looking for her DVD. “ - Nice to meet you kid, I’m mister Castle, but you can call me Franck. - Nice to meet you Sir “ he stummered, shaking his new neighbor’s massive hand. “ [y/n] reappeared giving Peter the DVD and they went to the door. “ - You’ll tell me your opinion! - No problem! See you tomorrow, warrior “ he joked before heading home. He was greeted by his aunt, who questionned him about how his day went. He answered quickly, claiming having a lot of homework. In his room, he thought about how crazy this day has been, mostly about the encounter with [y/n]. She exuted something special and her reflexes where on point. He laughed quietly, wondering if she could stand before Spiderman. After he was done with his light homework, and that he was sure her aunt was going out for her night shift, he put on his hero’s costume. As Peter Parker, he had time to think about his aunt, his studies, the bullies who thought they were scaring him, about [y/n]. But as Spiderman, he had to put thoses things aside. Especially since a few days, the human spider had found a new enemy. What was at first an urban legend just litteraly came alive. Coming back to the Queens, where he was born, the man was following no rules and allowed himself to kill a lot of people, from the mafia for sure, but people still. He was webbing from buildings to buildings and landed on a rooftop. It dominated the city, and he could listen to the police’s radio so he could find that man. He was easy to be identified, this man has been awarded the nickname ; the Punisher.
