I’m a Sonic fan, but nuh-uh. Not even close. A CYBER’S WORLD isn’t just nostalgic. The very first time I played Chapter 2 the sound of it just washed over me and took me somewhere I’ve never been before. City Escape is a fun and upbeat song, but not much more than that.

Escape from the City:
Imagine you're a ten year old with a brand new Gamecube and you're booting up your first ever 3D Sonic game after years of 2D gameplay on the Sega Genesis, and as the first level begins THIS high energy song starts playing, and it's every bit as epic and cool as you imagined it would be. YES Sonic the Hedgehog, I WILL follow you and set you free and trust you and we will escape from the city. The nostalgic memory of this specific song is part of why I love this game so much. Like what a way to open your game.
It is one of the most iconic and well known sonic songs. It is a banger and a perfect opening section to the game.

A CYBER'S WORLD?:
It has a great nostalgic quality to it even though the game came out only two years ago.
Gentle reminder: “bear witness” means “learn about what’s happening, so you can talk about it, agitate for change, and help where you can”
Not “you must watch X number of snuff films and look at X number of dead children, in order to be a good person”

weirdest art trick i have is that sketching limbs is easier and neater if you slice em at the joints instead of using those little circles
UPDATE:
I put this in my reblogs but I’m going to attack this to the main post.

Made by the amazing @the-gay-prometheus (genuinely thank you for saying this)
I used to hate it when people said the trick was to just do it until ‘do it scared’ started going around, because that’s truly it. Life didn’t start changing until I applied for jobs with one hand in front of my eyes and a trembling hand navigating my computer mouse. Or until I said everything on my mind (in moderation) with my fists clenched and my legs weak. Or until I refused to accept that I’d ‘just’ be shy forever while also kind of being nauseous at the idea of trying to be the opposite. Two things can coexist and that’s exactly the point of believing that you can do anything.
I'm kind of at a point where the "queer spaces" i feel safest in are the ones that have a pet cishet dude or two hanging around
Before I make any more assumptions @charadreemurr7 you tried this already too, right?
Fuck it, I'm saying it. I don't believe you. None of you telling me the mailing list is real and sending pictures are telling the truth. I guess they're all fanmade fakes, because it literally isn't possible to sign up for the letter. There's a website that SAYS you can sign up for it, but it doesn't work. I've used multiple devices with multiple unique emails, one made explicitly and exclusivly for the newsletter. I signed up. I signed up again. I signed up again. Different device. Difference browser. My main email instead of the dedicated one. Different wifi networks. It's always the same thing. "We sent a confirmation I promise" and there's no confirmation. Not in promotions, not in social, not in spam, not in the standard inbox, not in all mail. There's nothing. No confirmation email. No newsletter. I don't think you're telling the truth anymore. For reference this is a post I made on reddit about the topic SIX MONTHS AGO: https://www.reddit.com/r/Undertale/comments/1c4n20z/is_the_mailing_list_even_real/ the best I could be told was "well it works for ME". Fuck you. I don't believe you anymore, I don't think it does.
