Sevika x fem! Y/n: broken marriage angst
part 1
a/n : in reality, I can never see Sevika treating her S/O like this, but Iâm a sucker for angst so here this is anyways.
contains: swearing, alcohol abuse, minor pushing and shoving, smoking, maybe manipulation? Idk. If youâre uncomfortable with any of this, please stay away for your own comfort! â¤ď¸

The rain comes down hard against the shaking windows of your apartment in Zaun. Youâre sitting up, waiting on the return of your wife, Sevika. She was meant to be home a while ago, but you try not to worry. Despite that, the anxiety that somethingâs wrong this time lingers in your mind.
Sheâs usually late to come home since sheâs now Silcoâs right hand, and is a lot busier than she used to be. You canât say you entirely agree with Silco and Sevika, but this job seems to mean a lot to her, so you let any opinions you have go.
The clock strikes again⌠itâs been an hour, and no Sevika. You know that somethingâs up for sure, but what can you do? Thereâs no way youâd last long alone in Zaun past midnight⌠You try to stay up longer, but you feel sleep pulling your eyelids shut and attempting to quiet your worried mindâŚ
Defeated, you sleepily make your way to the bed you share with Sevika, crawling onto it before collapsing where sheâd usually sleep. You canât help but smell her on the pillows, the blankets, and the sheets. You decide youâll head straight to Silcoâs base the very next morning to find her⌠if she isnât back by thenâŚ
The faint sunlight filters its way through your halfway drawn blinds. Reaching out, you search for the familiar warmth of your wife, but she still isnât there. Sitting up immediately, you pull on some clothes, grab a pocket knife, and leave to search for her on your own.
When you finally reach Silcoâs place, most of his guards and goons move out of your way. Sevika has always made it clear that youâre with her, and the consequences of your mistreatment wonât be pretty, whether sheâs your coworker or not. âSev? Are you here?â You call out nervously. Thereâs still no sign of her. You slowly make your way to Silcoâs door, cracking it open before pushing it out of the way. Sevika is completely knocked out on the couch.
Your hand goes to your mouth in shock as your eyes wander towards the bandaged bloody stump where her arm used to be. You feel light headed. You might puke, but you steel yourself, and instead focus on her face. âSev! Are you okay? What happened?!â You say. You donât shake her, since you think that might hurt her. You press your ear to her chest and breath a sigh of relief when you not only hear her heart pumping, but feel the slow rise and fall of her chest that you missed the night before.
âSheâll liveâŚâ A sickeningly familiar voice says from behind you. Whirling around, startled by the intrusion, you see that itâs only Silco. He doesnât look so good himself either⌠Not that he ever did to you anyways. âWhat happened!?â You demand, trying to hide the obvious tremor in your voice. âA plan.. I canât tell you everything, but Vanderâs girl was causing some trouble, and there wasâŚan explosion..â
He walks around the room till he reaches his desk, sitting down in the large chair. âYour..partner, SevikaâŚShe defended me.. probably saved my life. In exchange for wellâŚI think you can tell.â Youâre aware of what has been going on the past couple of days. The explosion in piltover, the enforcers running around looking for the suspects, but you have no idea how this is related at all. All you want is for Sevika to wake up and tell you everythingâs okay like normal.
âUgghâŚ.shit..â Wish granted. Sevikaâs eyes flutter open and she looks around. Itâs clear sheâs not really there, but you canât help rushing back to her side. âSev itâs me! A-are you okay? How do you feel!?â She looks at you strangely, before muttering a curse and going back to sleep. Kind of anti-climactic.
âWe had a doctor stop by. Sheâs on a lot of medication right now, but she should be okay, given Iâm giving her two months off..â She just lost her arm.. Only two months!? You think to yourself. However; âOkay..â is how you respond. All you can do is stare down at your wife, who merely furrows her eyebrows in her sleep.
Itâs been some time since the accident. Sevika is back home, and has been for about a week now. Recently, sheâs been less affectionate, but youâve brushed it off as stress, or her getting used to her new disability.
Despite this, youâre trying to be the most supportive wife you can possibly be. One afternoon, you spot her struggling to eat with a spoon. Her left hand was her dominant one after all⌠You go over to help her, lifting the spoon to her lips and smiling. âHey. Itâs alright I can help you.â She glares at you. âI donât need your help⌠Iâm not a kid.â You sigh, trying to be patient with her. âI knowâŚbut just let me help you right now.â Sevika has never been good at accepting help. She always wants to do things on her own. Itâs a quality you find equally endearing, and annoying at times.
âI know that-well, things are going to be different for you from now on. This is all going to take some getting used to, but please, let me help you for now.â You plead with her. Her eyes soften momentarily, before looking away from you with a grunt. She begrudgingly takes the spoon in her mouth, allowing you to help her eat.
Despite some moments of tenderness, things are still pretty rough. Sheâs drinking a lot more than usual, and completely brushing you off when you try to talk to her about it. One night, you wake up to the loud sound of the TV in the living room. Sevika isnât next to you.
You get up and head out the bedroom door, finding her drinking what looks like her third beer, and watching some crap on the TV. âWhatâs with that look, baby~?â She asks with a drunken slur. âYouâre drinking againâŚYouâve already had a lot today.â You say, walking over and sitting down next to her. You hold her remaining hand with your own. âAh fuckâŚJust get off my backâŚâ She groans, rolling her eyes at you. âSev, I just-all this drinking canât be good for you. I know loosing your arm is rough, but this isnât the solution! Just please come to bed with me.â You beg her. For a moment her eyebrows raise, before she scowls at you. She roughly shoves you off of her. âI didnât ask for your fucking opinion on how iâm dealing with my own shit. Not yours.â She spat. Sevika swears all the time. She has the mouth of a sailor, but this time it feels different. Like the feeling you had when waiting for her to come home that night. A sinking feeling in your stomach telling you something is wrong. Fighting back tears, you stand up and return to bed.
Itâs after one a.m. Sevika still hasnât come to bed. The TV is off now. Is she asleep? You grip your wedding ring tightly. As you twist it around your finger, you assure yourself that this will all brush over. She just needs timeâŚsheâll come aroundâŚshe still loves meâŚitâll be okayâŚ
You jolt awake at the sound of heavy footsteps and the bed bouncing as Sevika plops down. You feel her calloused hand snake around your waist, and pull your back flush against her chest. Her chin comes to rest on the top of your head, and she finally speaks. âHeyâŚIâm sorryâŚâ She sounds remorseful. Drunk for sure. Sevika is usually good at holding her alcohol. Must have drank a lot tonightâŚ
âI shouldnât be mean to you⌠I love you⌠you know that right?â She presses a kiss to the top of your head. The first one in a while. It stings a bit that itâs not when sheâs sober. âYeah⌠I know.â You mutter. Sevika mumbles on â Iâm sorry baby. I donât deserve someone as pretty and sweet as you. I donât know why you wanted to be with an old lady like meâŚâ She squeezes you tighter. Sevika is only thirty three, but she calls herself old all the time. The usual ramblings of a drunk Sevika. You fall asleep that night in her arms. Till youâre not. The morning leaves you alone in the bed. After getting up, you notice Sevika isnât home. You wait all afternoon until she finally comes through the door. âOh, hey babe.â She says. â Sev, where were you so early?â You ask, noticing the red cape draped over where her left arm was. â Silcoâs place. He called me over and, well⌠Iâm getting a prosthetic.â She doesnât seem too thrilled.
âThatâs great!â You rush to her side, urging her to sit down. Sheâs still a bit tense. âIs something wrong?â You ask. Sheâs averting your gaze. âLook I justâŚyouâŚfuck. Never mind.â She stands up and lights a cigarillo. Something she never used to do around you.
Sevikaâs new arm will definitely take some getting used to. Youâre not too sure about the shimmer aspect of it, but she seems pleased with it. âIâll be back to work with this soon.â She says one night while youâre cooking dinner. âAwwâŚIâll miss having you at home, Sev.â You say it like itâs a joke, but you really will miss her. âYeah? I donât know why. Iâve been a total bitch recently.â She remarks. âI still will. These past weeks have been hard, so I understand.â She frowns, leaning her elbows on the counter. âYouâre just gonna let me get away with that? Wonder what else youâd put up withâŚâ
And so, Sevika is back to work. You barely see her. Leaving early in the morning, and coming back either late into the night, or the early hours of the morning. Youâre not sure if all of it is work though⌠Sometimes, sheâll come back with loads of cash. Sevika has always been a gambler, but it may be getting out of hand now.
Other times, sheâll come home scuffed up from another one of Silcoâs âerrands.â She wonât let you tend to her like she used to. You were hoping your relationship would go back to how it was now that things are mostly back to normal, but you only seem to be getting more distant. Itâs been one week. One whole week since youâve seen your wife. She told you this mission would be a long one, and âdonât expect to see me around soon.â Before just leaving. You miss the goodbye hugs and soft kisses, and the sweet nothings sheâd leave you with.
One night the door slams open, waking you with a little yelp. âJust me.â You hear her yell from the doorway. Getting up, you rush to greet Sevika with a big hug. She stiffens, but merely rubs your head in response. âI missed youâŚâ You mumble into her shirt, which smells of smoke, and blood. âIsnât that cute?â She chuckles, something you havenât heard in the longest time.
Everything is strange now. Moments like these feel off. Sheâs kind to you, sweet and loving, before suddenly becoming cold and distant again. Is this good? Is it bad? No marriage is going to be perfect everyday, but these ups and downs are confusing you. Nevertheless, you savor the rare moment of tenderness.
That morning, you wake up with a smile on your face. Today is Sevikaâs day off. Your mind is brimming with ideas of what you could do today. Maybe you can go to the market together, or do some baking, or possibly something else youâve been missing from her⌠Shaking the lewd delusion from your head, you get up to go find Sevika. To your surprise, sheâs putting on her shoes and adjusting her red poncho over her new arm. âWhere are you going?â You ask meekly. Your voice betraying the slightly sad mood youâve found yourself in. âOut.â Is all she says. She doesnât even look over her shoulder at you. Deciding not to let this moment go to waste, you tackle her in a tight hug, feeling her warm body against yours, along with the ice cold metal of her arm.
âGet the hell offâa me!â Her voice raises slightly, pushing you away, and knocking you off of her. âI- Iâll be back soon.â She looks regretful for just a moment, before leaving without another word.
For a moment you canât even move. Just standing there looking shocked as ever. Sheâs never been so secretive. So aggressive or impulsive. You feel tears sliding down your cheeks before you can even try and stop them. But thereâs also a ball of anger and pain in your stomach. You canât say anything except for a little gasp.
You desperately touch the wedding ring around your finger like itâs a lifeline. âFrom the fanciest place I could find.â Is what she told you that day. Her eyes trained on yours like you were the only thing in her world. You certainly were not now.
A/n : Hello! Thanks so much for reading part one. I plan to keep this as a series, and any form of critique or suggestions are welcome!

being a sevika fan is so painful because she is so cool and strong and then almost every time she fights she has to lose for plot reasons like the writing equivalent of making her slip on banana peel đ AND THEY ALWAYS TAKE HER ARM TOO THAT IS A HATE CRIME !
sneaky peaky (a playlist will accompany the chapters too)
Sevika x fem!reader
cw: homelessness, implied off page parental abuse, alcohol, sort of suicidal thoughts? Reader is underweight and trying to gain more, so if weight is a sensitive subject steer clear!
PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND AVOID IF ANYTHING IS TRIGGERINGâ¤ď¸
This was it. You were dying. You probably should feel sad, vengeful, or desperate to cling to life, but you just didnât. At least dying would remove you from the miserable existence that is life.
Homeless, starving, and dirty, youâve just been rotting away on the streets of Zaun. Even in your final moments, you canât even look up at the sky for some comfort. You only see smog, neon, and more desolate buildings.
You canât help but grin. This is pathetic. Youâre pathetic. As you finally close your eyes, something or someone interrupts your pitiful death. âHey. You alright?â You open your eyes. Someone is looming over your cadaverous form, and they squat down next to you.
âI have water if you want.â Itâs a woman. She looks stern, but thereâs a hint of concern in her face. âI want to die.â Is all you mutter out. She sighs, digs in her pocket, and takes out a cigarette. After lighting it, she sits down next to you. âI get it. I used to think I did too. Watching my home, and the people who live here get trapped in situations like yours..â
âIâm not looking for sympathy.â You say dryly. âThatâs fine⌠But Itâs not..I canât just walk away knowing youâll be dead by tomorrow.â You cautiously peek at her. âWhy? I donât know you. And Iâm sure you donât go around saving every homeless nobody.â She takes a drag. âYouâre right. I donât⌠but maybe I should. Its them Iâm fighting for anyways..â
Fighting for? What is this lady talking about?âŚYou brush it off and speak again. âwhat are you gonna do with me?â âHold stillâŚâ Before you can even comprehend it, She lifts you up and starts walking. Youâre too weak to even protest, and let the rhythm of her footsteps lull you to sleep.
 đđâââŕŽŕšâĄŕšŕŽâââđđ
You wake up on a tattered looking couch covered by a soft blanket. Somethingâs strange. Youâre wearing a large t-shirt, your skin is clean, and your hair is damp. Have you been bathed? Youâre still nearly skin and bones, but you feel a lot better. The apartment youâre in smells of smoke and stale air. Like whoever lives in it doesnât live in it too often.
Thereâs a small paper on a coffee table in front of you. It has writing on it, and looks like it was left for you to read. Bold of the author to assume you had enough of an education to read. You did, but only because of your mother. She hated you now. Being reminded of her only caused more pain, so you avoided anything related to her. That included reading.
Nevertheless, you pick up the note and read
Hey, whatever your name is. I donât mind you crashing at my place since you seem pretty harmless. Iâm Sevika, and yes I did give you a bath, no, I didnât do anything to you. I couldnât have you smelling like shit and laying all over my stuff. Eat whatever you want, stay out of my closet, and Iâll be back by evening. Iâll know if you fucked around with anything.
Sevikaâs handwriting is surprisingly pretty for her reputation around here. In your delirious state, you hadnât realized that it was her you were talking to. Silcoâs guard dog, the Scary Lady, or Murder Machine. You heard all of those less than favorable names referring to her.
But here you were, in her shirt, sleeping on her couch, and being invited to stay till you picked yourself up. What had caused such a random change in her character? Unless sheâs just a nice woman and everyone else has her all wrong, this is pretty uncharacteristic. Maybe you looked so pathetic she pitied you.
That evening came fast. The door opening and slamming shut made you freeze mid fridge-raid. âYouâre upâŚâ Is all Sevika says as she strides over to you. With a half eaten apple in your hand, you canât find any words for her. âNot talking anymore? Thatâs fine. Can I at least know your name?â Your name feels strange and unfamiliar coming from your lips. You havenât said it in ages. When your priority is just to survive, names arenât really important.
âAlright. If you want, I can order you something when I pick up my takeout.â Sheâs giving you dinner now too? You nod eagerly before you even notice. Your stomach growls obnoxiously. âSorryâŚâ you mutter. She doesnât reply, and just goes to sit on the couch.
Dinner is awkward. Youâre sitting across from her, while trying not to wolf down the greasy, delicious, fat filled burger in front of you. Sevika is wearing reading glasses while combing through an array of documents. Every so often, her eyes look over you just to see what youâre doing.
Once youâve fed yourself enough to slow down, you try and break the silence. âSo uhmâŚwhy are you doing this? Youâre not exactly known around for being charitableâŚâ Sevika lifts her gaze and takes off her reading glasses. Sheâs not looking in your direction when she responds. âI guess I justâŚyouâŚreminded me of someone. Someone from a long time ago.â
What kind of response is that? âAnd the whole reason I do what I do is to help people like you.â She has a voice that grounds you. Thereâs no feeling uncertain around such a confident woman. âBut donât go getting any ideas. This doesnât mean you can just do whatever you want.â Youâre still confused. Why you? Why today?
That night, youâre sleeping on the couch. Sevika is confidently sleeping in her bed, snoring like a freight train. She knows you wouldnât dare try anything, given her reputation for breaking limbs. When sleep finally comes, your dreams turn to nightmares. Violent nightmares calling you back to your past. Normally, shivering in a cardboard box would keep them at bay.
You see your mother on that day. screaming at you with enraged purple eyes, trembling, with purple scars crawling all over her body. It took everything from you. Your life, your mother, your homeâŚYou wake up in a cold sweat, crying out and wiping tears from your face. Everythingâs spinning and you let out a weak whimper. Suddenly, thereâs a hand on your back, rubbing in firm circles.
âYouâre alrightâŚnot out there in the rain anyways..â Itâs Sevika. sheâs trying her best to comfort you, but you can tell itâs not something sheâs used to doing. You donât even care. You bury your face in her chest and hug her close, crying and gasping from the awful memory.
Sevika is frozen. she seems unsure of what to do with you. One hand rests on your head, and her bionic arm finds your back. âNot so blunt nowâŚSorry. Too soon.â She remarks. You center yourself, and pull back from her feeling a little embarrassed. âSorry I woke youâŚâ â Sâalright.â
She sits there with you on the couch until you fall back asleepâŚ
đđ âââŕŽŕšâĄŕšŕŽâââđđ
Itâs been one week since you first arrived at Sevikaâs apartment. Youâve gained a little weight back, but the nightmares still terrorize you. Sevikaâs picked up on the way you flinch when startled, or how uncomfortable you get when she smokes weed or drinks heavily.
Itâs clear to her that you have a negative history with substances, so she starts to limit her alcohol when youâre around, and sheâll only smoke on the balcony. Youâre worried that youâre being a burden to her. One night, you see her smoking on the balcony, and step outside with her.
She doesnât say anything, but raises an eyebrow as her way of asking: âWhatâs up?â You lean your elbows on the railing. âYou know⌠you donât have to change your lifestyle for me. Letting me just be here even though Iâm a stranger is enough.â Sevika takes a drag. âHere in the undercity, itâs important that we stick together. You needed help, so I decided to help you. Iâm not going to pry into your damage, but if cutting back on my bad habits makes you more comfortable, Iâm fine with that.â She smiles, and faces you. âBesides, having a pretty girl for a roommate ainât so bad, bunny rabbit.â
You canât even focus on the fact that she just called you pretty. âBunny rabbit?â She chuckles. âYouâre skittish as hell. Mâscared youâll just faint from shock one of these days.â Sheâs not wrong about that. Youâre used to always needing to be on high alert. Every sound could mean danger.
You only feel more guilty. âSorryâŚâ your voice cracks embarrassingly. Sevikaâs smile drops and she looks over at you. âOh- Iâm sorry. Didnât mean to hurt your feelings... No use feeling bad about it. Letâs just work on getting better, mâkay?â She presses her cigarette to the railing to out it, and puts one hand on your shoulder, leading you back inside. âLetâs go to bed, itâs late.â
As time goes by, you start to bond with Sevika. Sheâll come home, tell you all about her day, eat dinner with you, and talk until you fall asleep. The nightmares ease too. If you do have one, sheâs right there to tell you that everythingâs okay.
One afternoon, Sevika gets back early with a shopping bag. You get up off of the couch to greet her. âSevika? Whatâs that?â She smirks, and pulls out a pretty dress with spaghetti straps. âSince you came along, I havenât been to the Last Drop in a while. So, I thought you might wanna come with.â You take the dress from her and admire it. âSevika⌠itâs so pretty! But I donât know⌠I havenât been to a bar.â She puts a reassuring hand on your shoulder. âYouâll be fine with me. Trust me. As long as everybody knows youâre with me, youâre safe.â
So, you decide to go with her. When you were getting dressed, Sevika spotted you looking at yourself nervously in the mirror. âHey⌠is it too much? I didnât really know what youâd likeâŚâ you turn to her. âNo itâs pretty! Iâm just⌠not used to this.â Sevika goes into her closet and comes back, draping a leather jacket over your shoulders. âYou can have this for tonight if it makes you more comfortable.â
You feel your face heat up. ââŚthank you.â She smiles, and pats your shoulder. âNo problem bunny rabbit.â The whole walk to the Last Drop, Sevika keeps you close. She glares at anyone who even looks in your direction, and yells threats back at cat-callers. When you finally reach the place, she opens the door for you. âLadies first.â You smile. âYouâre a lady too yâknow.â She rolls her eyes playfully.
You werenât sure what to expect at the bar. Sitting next to Sevika while she throws snide comments at the other card players definitely wasnât it. Sheâs winning big time though. Laughing and squeezing your shoulder every time she sweeps another pile of chips her way.
Around an hour later, Sevika is definitely tipsy, but her instincts are sharp as ever. For some reason, more people keep coming to play against her even though she canât stop winning. This next game looks especially tough. For a moment, you think itâs finally over before she reveals her winning deck. Her opponents jaw drops. Sevika lets out a booming laugh and just pulls you onto her lap like youâre the prize.
âThought I was in trouble there, didnât chya, cutie?â She laughs again while you register being seated on her muscular thigh. The other players mutter curses and storm off. âWasnât that fun? You didnât drink any though.â Her large hand caresses your waist.
âI donât like alcohol.â You respond curtly. Sevika lets you get off of her before she grabs the large sack of her winnings. âLetâs head home. Yeah? sweet thing?â Youâre surprised at how casual sheâs being with you. Maybe itâs the alcohol, but the Sevika youâve heard about isnât nice and flirty in the slightest.
When you finally arrive at the apartment, Sevika crashes on the couch instantly. She seems like the type to be able to hold her alcohol, but she was being a little excessive today. After all that, youâre tired too. You take off the dress she gave you and slip on one of her shirts. Climbing back onto the couch, you snuggle against her human arm, and let sleep take you.
You wake up slowly. the sunshine is filtering in the room through the window. Sevikaâs arm is draped over you like a blanket. Itâs heavy. Given your current state, youâre not strong enough to move it. Not that youâd want to anyways. Sevika is usually up earlier than you. Perhaps sheâs got a hangover.
With a big yawn, Sevika finally wakes up. She doesnât say anything to you, despite the rather intimate sleeping arrangement. She stands up, ruffles your hair, and goes to turn on her coffee machine. âYou couldâve taken the bed.â She finally says from across the apartment.
âIâŚdidnât want to.â Is all you can think to say. Sevika walks towards the couch again and plops down next to you. âWhy not?â Her gray eyes stare unyielding into your own. ââŚjust didnât wanna.â You dont want to admit that you wanted to be on the couch with her. You havenât known each other for very long. Not long enough to cuddling like youâd known her for years. âOkay, bunny rabbit..â
đđ âââŕŽŕšâĄŕšŕŽâââđđ
Sevika was already kind to you before, but now sheâs treating you like a pet. When she goes to the store, you know sheâs coming back with something for you. Whether itâs a candy, new clothes, or just something she thinks youâd like.
She starts to touch you more too. She says itâs to âhelp you get used to it.â But every time she brushes her hand against your cheek or holds you by your waist, your heart flutters.
Youâve been living with Sevika for over a month now. Standing on her scale, you wait nervously to see your weight. Healthy. Still some way to go, but youâre not skin and bone anymore. Your cheeks look a little fuller, your skin a little more smooth, and thereâs a glimmer again in your eyes.
The door slams shut, making you nearly jump out of your skin. Itâs Sevika, but she doesnât call for you like normal. Curiously, you exit the bathroom to see whatâs happened. Sheâs standing with her hands pressed against he counter, hackles raised, and her muscles are tensed. âSev?â You approach her and place a hand on her shoulder blade.
âHey bunnyâŚâ She finally acknowledges you. She speaks to you in a soft, low voice that makes your breath catch in your throat. âSorry if I scared yaâŚKnow how you are. Today was justâŚFuck, bunny. I donât feel like chatting about it.â She pulls you in a hug. Itâs sudden, but not unwelcome.
âYou donât have to talk if you donât want toâŚâ you say to her. She sighs, goes over to the couch, and takes off her arm. âComeâere.â You join her on the couch and she pulls you closer with her right arm. âYou knowâŚthings have been better roundâere since you showed up.â âReally?â She smiles at you, running her human hand through your hair. âYeah⌠if I didnât have you, Iâd probably be de-stressing in some other awful way.â You raise an eyebrow at the vague response. âLike what?â
A teasing grin forms on her face. âI dunno.. maybe by beating up some thugs or even a couple sessions at Babetteâs.â Your face contorts into one of shocked surprise. Sevika notices and chuckles. âYeah I get around, bunny.â
There was no doubt in your mind that it wasnât true. After all, sheâs an incredibly handsome woman. Broad muscular shoulders, and a face that could make your heart melt and your blood run cold depending on its expression. You sometimes fantasized that there could be something more with her, but demeaning thoughts told you that you were only a charity case for her.
She couldnât truly care about you, because nobody ever did. Sevika notices the sudden shift in your expression. âHey bunny⌠you alright?â âYeahâŚIâm fine.â She senses you donât want to be questioned further, and leaves back into her seat. âIf you need something, Iâm here. Kay?â
You nod, pushing away the thoughts of your yearning, and self hatred, opting to enjoy some peace for the first time in a while.
So thereâs this idea that I had for an x reader fanfiction, but I have no idea who I want to write it for. To give you a small description, it was going to be a gothic Victorian style story where readers father is a vampire hunter (a very bad one.) and when he fails to kill (character) he trades reader for his own life. So reader is basically just stuck in this massive old, gothic castle with (character) there is going to be more ofc, but first I need to decide who itâs forâŚ
Queen Ambessa x ex-queen!fem!reader.
tw: mentions of blood, warfare, reader is essentially kidnapped. Age-gap, humiliation (non-sexual) some touching.
a/n: I know this is slightly problematic, but I couldnât help myselfđ A lot of you seemed interested, so I hope you enjoy the first chapter! And to my other followers, I PROMISE part twos of both Sevika stories are coming soon.
You stayed still. The cold touch of the blade against your neck kept you that way. It was over. It was all over. You hadnât expected it to go this way, but you were warned. Advisors and allies telling you gruesome stories of other fallen nations who foolishly went to war with Noxus. Youâd only been queen for a few months, and naively took them with a grain of salt.
Flanked by two Noxian warriors and with your wrists cuffed, you were escorted-more like hauled- out of your palace. You could feel the bile come up your throat at the sight of your people scattered around, bloodied and mangled.
Monsters. You thought. The guilt of not being better- preparing more, leading them better- made your whole body feel hot. You were lost in thought when you were shoved down onto your knees. You kept your head low to the ground, and didnât dare raise it when a large shadow overlapped your own. âYour majestyâŚâ The figure spoke with a cruel tinge in her voice. She looked down on you. She must think youâre a fool. Just like that, your pride returns to you. Defiantly, you raise your head, trying to look as proud as one could minutes from death. âWhatâs this? After such an easy defeat, I would have thought all your hubris would have left you.â Queen Ambessa Medarda. You had heard horror stories about this woman. When the message that she requested to have your nation willingly allow Noxus to expand into your land arrived, you scoffed, and replied with a firm no.
Now she had brought you down by force. Her massive hand raises your chin to look her in the eye. Any moment now, sheâll call for your death. You know it. Instead, a strange grin crosses her face.
âIâll give you a choice, your majestyâŚâ you follow her with her eyes as she steps away from you. âYou could either die right here, at your young age, and waste that pretty face of yoursâŚorâŚyou could come back with me. Iâve been meaning to find a new concubine.â
âwhat?â
Thereâs no way she just offered such a degrading position to you. Die or become her plaything. You were about to shout a sassy response and take your death with some dignity, but one look at the sharp, blood stained spear made your stomach sink.
âWhatâs your choice? Little dove?â You lowered your head. A sick, angry feeling swells inside of you. Youâd accept. Youâd become her little plaything, but you had ulterior motives to say the least.
Iâll kill her
Youâd kill her. Destroy her kingdom from the inside. It was a stupid plan, but it was all you had. Maybe poison her and burn Noxus to the ground.
âIâŚI accept your..merciful offer.â
She grins. Reaching down to run her hand over your face. âA shame that it takes more than a pretty face to lead, young one. Lucky for you, it does take a pretty face to please me.â She steps back, picking up her spear and cleaning the blood from it. âI look forward to seeing more of you.â
There were two meanings to that. You couldnât help but feel flustered.
It had been only a couple hours since your capture. You were quickly bathed and Restrained by a pair of heavy, gold handcuffs attatched to a leash. Finally getting the opportunity to be alone, you sat down by the window in your new room. You were currently wearing a silk, white dress that cut out your hips, shoulders, and arms. The neckline was also immodestly low. Today, Queen Ambessa was going to appear in the public to announce the defeat of your nation. You were to be dragged around by her as an example to her enemies.
Her plan was to humiliate you into total submission. You knew it. You looked out the window at the crowd of Noxian citizens who have already gathered. They would all see you, a queen without a kingdom, dressed and being treated like a glorified sex slave.
You heard your name being called. It was time to go. Hesitantly, you made your way to the palace balcony
You were standing behind the balcony waiting to be shown off to the people when Ambessa steps out to begin her address. âCitizens of Noxusâ Ambessa began. âIt is with pleasure that I announce the defeat of the kingdom of Rosaria.â A loud applause floods your ears. You could almost cry. âWith their fall, we have gained a surplus of land, trade routes, and many other spoils of war such as the beautiful Queen of Rosaria.â
Suddenly, youâre dragged out right by her side. You donât even resist. The people jeer and laugh, but all you can hear is a terrible ringing in your ears. âA doll, isnât she? This is the⌠Ex-queen of Rosaria, now my dedicated servant. Let it be known that anyone else who threatens the power of Noxus will be subjected to a similar fate, if not worse.â
The people cheer loudly. Noxian citizens are incredibly proud. It disgusts you. The idea of celebrating your queen dragging around a prisoner- no, a queen-like a dog is horrible. There are probably spies or messengers in the crowd that will run off and spread the word of your capture. Even if you fail to murder this terrible woman, surely someone will come for youâŚ
right?
After Ambessa is done, she leads you inside and drags you away by your wrists. Hot tears of shame and anger suddenly fall, and all of your emotion swells into your chest. âYou tyrant! Do you not realize how- how disgusting you are!? You disgust me! Your people disgust me, Noxus disgusts me!â You scream at her. She stops walking, but doesnât turn around. âAnother word, and you can kiss your life goodbyeâ.
She pulls your chain, making your body lurch forward. Steadying you with a hand to your shoulder, she leans in close. You try to step back, but sheâs gripping the gold chain tightly. âYouâre a beautiful girl. It outweighs your impertinence. Consider yourself lucky.â
-
That night, youâre escorted to Ambessaâs bedroom before sheâs even in there. Itâs huge. Bed is larger than the one in your own palace. Velvety, blood red sheets cover the bed, and a soft rug surrounds it. You sit on her bed and observe the new spaceâŚ
There are deep scratches in the elaborate wooden headboard. Your mouth becomes dry at what they imply. The sound of the double doors opening makes you jump. Turning around quickly, you see that itâs Ambessa. Her hair is out of its royal style, and replaced by simple cornrows pulled back into a ponytail.
âEvening.â
Is all she says upon noticing your presence. She closes the doors behind her and makes her way over to the bed. She takes your chain in her hand, and removes your handcuffs. You feel relieved, but itâs quickly replaced with a chain around your ankle, attathed to her bed. Youâre not going anywhere. Suddenly, she grabs your wrists and slowly pins you down. You try to resist, but her strength is almost unbelievable.
Sheâs looking at you like a starving wolf would look at a deer. Eyes full of hunger and lust. All you can do is meet her gaze, trying as hard as possible not to look scared. She brings one hand to caress your face. Both of your wrists are now being held by only one of her hands.
âSuch a pretty faceâŚâ Her hand trails down to your throat, where she gives an experimental, gentle squeeze. Her hand continues lower to your breast, feeling you gently. âYouâre soft. So completely unaffected by hardshipâŚâ
Your breath is caught in your throat. Ambessa leans down to place a kiss to your neck. Her knee is firmly wedged between your legs, making you squirm occasionally. You donât want to like it, but it feels so good.
Suddenly, she pulls away. You feel a small twinge of disappointment. âIâm sure youâre exhausted, my dear. Iâll let you rest tonight.â She lies down and pulls you close, stroking the small of your back. You canât deny the heat in your cheeks. Sheâs warm. you hate it. You hate how nice this feels. You close your eyes and try to focus on your original goal. Kill her. Gain her trust and murder her. Rosaria will get its justice, even if itâs gone. You canât rest, or enjoy anyone elseâs warmth until Queen Ambessa Medarda is dead.
-
The next day, you take some time to familiarize yourself with the Noxian palace. Ambessa is busy with meetings about the newly acquired land, so youâre left with the maids.
Ambessa has set rules for you. Youâre not a complete slave after all it seems. Youâre allowed to roam the palace grounds freely as long as youâre accompanied by a servant or a guard. You canât go out in public without her, and the most important one to her, only she can use your leash. No one else is permitted.
As you try to relax in the garden under the gazebo, you canât help but feel like the favorite toy of a child. No one else can play with you. The guard your with now is staring off into space, not speaking a word. The flowers are pretty at least.
There are many colors, but the majority of the flowers are deep red. It reminds you of blood. The blood of your people. After that, you went back inside.
-
Itâs been one week since your capture. To your surprise, Ambessa hasnât gone any farther than she had that night. You think that your depressive mood has been turning her off. Good. You werenât about to let this go so easily for her. Maybe there is a hint of empathy somewhere deep within her after all.
Youâre in bed, staring up at the ceiling when the door slams open, making you jolt. Itâs Ambessa, but she looks furious. âYour majesty?â She doesnât say a word back, instead pulling on your gold leash till youâre face to face with her. âAre you alri-â Her lips crash into yours, and youâre unable to pull away.
After you feel dazed and slightly light headed, she pulls back. âIâŚapologize, young one.â She stands back up, and you scramble to adjust your clothes. âWhy? This is what you captured me for, isnât it?â The words leave your lips before you can think twice. âIt is, but I donât want to force it on youâŚâ
She leans forward, her hands wrapping around your thighs. âI do not wish to harm you, child. Iâve grown quite fond of you actually.â Her hands are warm. Your thighs feel tingly. Her deep brown eyes are solely trained on yours. Your breathing quickens Ambessaâs hand finds the back of your head, and she pulls you in for a much more tender kiss.
when she pulls away, her lips wrap around a spot high on your neck, and she begins to suck on it. You canât help but let out a small whine. âThere.â She rubs the new love bite with her thumb. âIâm quite tired, my dear. Letâs get to bed, shall we?â

cw: 18+, smut(doesnât go that far) and thatâs really it ig.
Thunder shakes the whole apartment, making it difficult for you to sleep. The last couple of days have been rough on you mentally. For some reason, youâve been thinking about your mother and your family. Everythingâs been triggering you lately, and it hasnât gone unnoticed by Sevika.
So when you appear in her doorway at two am in the morning, she only grunts and pats the space on bed next to her.
âNightmares again?â She questions. Not feeling like explaining yourself, you meekly nod in response. âSâokayâŚjust stay here with me.â
Sevika likes moments like this. She likes feeling like you need her. Years of running around the undercity for a cause, only to be under appreciated, and harassed by Jinx. But helping you? Itâs like it was all worth it. She kept putting up with Silco and Jinxâs bullshit for people like you.
âYou knowâŚif you donât want to, you donât have to move out so soon⌠Iâm not here most of the day, so youâre free to stay longer.â That excuse was terrible, but she hopes youâll believe her anyways. âThanks Sevi..â Thatâs a new one. âSâno problem bunny rabbit.â
When youâre finally asleep again, Sevika gets up and lights a cigar. To make sure you donât inhale any of her bad habits, she goes out on the balcony. Looking out at the twilight, Sevika starts to think. Does she really care about you, or is this all to fulfill some hero complex she has?
When you wake up, Sevikaâs gone. Sheâs probably already at work. The bed smells like her, and a little bit of smoke. Thatâs when you remember: you slept in her bed. You feel hot. Had you cuddled her? You probably looked so pathetic, wanting someone to snuggle like some stupid kid.
You swing your legs over the side of her bed and get up, stepping in something soft. Looking down, you see a pile of her clothes. A tank top, boxers, and socks. What she always sleeps in. You lift the pile, and drop it into the hamper. All except the tank top. It smells like her too. Whiskey, and the distinct smell of cigar smoke.
The sky is unusually blue today. From Sevikaâs balcony, you can see its natural color without any smoke in the way.
Sevikaâs balcony has become a favorite spot of yours. Now, youâre sitting down in a folding chair enjoying a book she bought you the other day. A romance novel to be specific.
Youâve gotten more comfortable in your mind, and skin. Reading no longer opens an old wound like it used to, and youâre less jumpy. This doesnât mean Sevika calling you âbunny rabbitâ has ceased in the slightest. Itâs grown on you.
Suddenly, a thought strikes you. Ever since youâve gotten here, itâs always take out for dinner. Usually because Sevika gets home too late to cook anything, or maybe because she just doesnât like to. So today, youâll be cooking.
The whole idea is perfect⌠Surprising Sevika, your savior, with a nice, home cooked meal. Hopefully sheâs impressed. The thought of her smile, and some words of gratitude make you all giddy. So you get to it. Sevika doesnât have a lot of groceries in her house, but you find what you can.
Your final ingredient list comes out to some pasta, cheese, milk, butter, and a couple garlic cloves. You could make a nice sauce with these.
And so you do. Halfway through dinner, Sevika comes through the door. Shoot. You think. You really wanted to surprise her with the table set and the kitchen not a mess.
While youâre busy lost in your thoughts about how ruined the surprise is, a pair of arms snakes around your waist from behind. Sevikaâs chin comes to rest on the top of your head. âWhat are you gettin up to? Making me dinner?â You continue to stir the pot like nothing out of the ordinary just happened.
âyes⌠itâs just-we always eat takeout so i just thought something homemade would be niceâŚâ
âhmmâŚhavenât eaten anything homemade in a while..â Her voice sounds slightly distant⌠like home cooked meals mean something sentimental to her. She unhands you and turns towards her bedroom.
âIâm gonna go change into something notâŚcovered in blood. Call me when dinners ready.â You look over your shoulder in surprise. You hadnât even noticed the blood stains lingering her clothes, and the bruises on her arms and face.
When youâre sitting across from her eating, you notice more little scratches and cuts all over her.. Sheâs not acting hurt or upset at all though. Just eating quietly. âUhmâŚwhat happened to you?â You question. Her eyes look up to meet yours and she shrugs. âRan into someone today⌠I donât know where you were a couple years ago, but Vanders girl.. the older one.â
Sheâs back? You kind of forgot about her after everything that went down⌠âAnd you fought with her?â Sevika seems a little frustrated now. âCorrection, she jumped me. In the middle of a game too. Just as I won, I get pummeled across the cheek. Damn bratâŚâ
You canât help your curiosity. âWhereâd she go?â Sevika runs a hand through her hair âHell if I know.. she ran away with some enforcer shootin at meâŚâ âoh wowâŚâ is all you can say in response. You examine her face a little more, and before you know it you speak again. âDo you want me to help?â
âHelp with what, bunny?â She raises her eyebrow at you. âUhm.. with your injuries. You have a first aid, right?â She nods. âIf you really want to help I wonât stop you.â
âHold still..â You press the alcohol soaked cotton ball to a scratch on her cheek. âIt stings..â she keeps flinching and turning away. âI know but I gotta clean them! You lean forward in an effort to reach her better. âJust stay stillâŚâ Sevika then chuckles. Her hand finds its way to the top of your head and she messes with your hair. â I feel so special. My very own personal nurse.â The way sheâs looking at you makes your heart flutter.
âyeah uh.. I guess I am!â Sevika suddenly pushes against you and sits up, gently holding your wrist to stop you from tending to her. âYou have no clue the affect youâve had on me, bunny. If not for you, Iâd probably be smoking a blunt and getting drunk off my ass.â You canât speak. Sheâs so close.
âI want to do something to return thatâ She sounds so sincere. Your voice returns âletting me live here is really enough! Cooking for you and helping you out is just thanks for that.â She shakes her head. âMaybe, but I feel like youâve done more for me than I have for you.â A silence fills the small space between you. Sevikaâs grip on your wrist tightens slightly. She lowers you down slowly, pinning you down by the wrists. âUhm.. so do you need help with another bruise? Or..â
She kisses you. Youâre caught off guard even though you expected it. you donât resist though, and kiss her back. Sheâs holding your wrist above your head while her mechanical arm holds you tight against her. âSev..â is all you can get out when you part before she kisses you again.
After around five minutes of just making out, she finally stops. The both of you are catching your breath. âSuch a pretty girlâŚâ Sevika murmurs affectionately, brushing a stray piece of hair from your face. âYouâre not moving out any time soon baby.â Youâre in Sevikaâs bed again that night. Not because of any nightmare, but because she carried you here right after you finished patching her up. Sheâs lying on top of you, human hand caressing your cheek, mech hand lifting your shirt. Sheâs kissing you slowly, occasionally opening her eyeâs to look at you.
âSo prettyâŚwanna make you mineâŚâ her lips trail down to your neck, sucking on the skin and leaving it a dark purplish-red color. âSevâŚâ is all you manage to say before she latches onto your right nipple. A whine slips from your lips, and her eyes meet yours. An almost mischievous glint appears in her eyes. She has experience with this. You remember your conversation about the brothel.
She shows your other breast some attention before lowering herself between your legs. âSev?â She stopped moving. She looks back at you with a concerned look on her face. âAre youâŚokay with this?â You nod. âSorryâŚI shouldnât have.â She gets up and puts a cigar between her lips, looking for a lighter.
âWe donât have to stop⌠I wanna keep going.â She looks back at you with the unlit cigar hanging from those lips you wanted back so badly. âIt justâŚfeels wrong. Youâre vulnerable, and I donât want to take advantage of that.â
âyouâre not! I love you too..â âDonât say thatâŚâ She sighs, and sits back down on the bed. âI never had time for an actual relationship with anyone..I want to do this right for you. Not just casual sex like Iâm used to.â You sit up, pulling your shirt down and leaning on her shoulder. âI havenât had a lot of relationships either. Being homeless never gave me a lot of free time.â
She chuckles and pulls you closer. âGuess weâre both just figurinâ things out huh? Weâll just figure it out together.â You sleep in her arms that night. Things didnât go any further, but you couldnât be happier.
Sevika, meanwhile, was feeling conflicted. Is she just taking advantage of the fact that you look up to her so much? Sheâs not good when it comes to love. So how can she be genuine for you? Maybe this is all some fantasy she has, and once she sleeps with you sheâll stop caring.
Sevika was even surprised with herself. She knew sheâd had some commitment issues, but she didnât know itâd be this bad. Sheâs terrified to commit, because what if what she has with you isnât even real love? What if itâs only lust?
âSev?â Your sleepy voice snaps her out of it. âUh- yeah?â She looks towards you. âI love you.â She sighs. âI love you too.â Sevika almost feels bad. She sees how your eyes shine when they look at her, or every attempt from you to gain her approval. She wants to love you just as much. All she knows is that she would give her life for you. The beacon of light in her dreary life.
Maybe she can love you.
just as much.
