I know some people are confused about the music this season but idk I think getting fingered in a cab on the way home from a night out to a Pitbull song is relatable in any era
moments i want to live in forever:
taking a bath or shower in the early evening during summer with the window open and the whole room is kinda balmy and warm and you can hear all the little bugs and frogs chirping outside
being outside right before a really huge storm and everyone is kind of hurrying around and the sky looks weird and you feel very small and strange
standing outside dorm or apartment buildings and seeing everyones different color led lights in the windows
walking outside after a long shift and its still dead silent outside under the streetlights and the air is still and you sit in your car in the dark and go through the notifs that have built up over the last few hours
staying up late at my grandparents's farmhouse and going down to the kitchen for a little snack or drink when everyone else is asleep
when it’s rainy and dark and you light a scented candle while you read all nice and cozy inside
the drive to the airport
being in any empty space where theres normally a lot of people (schools, churches, roads, etc)
sitting on the trunk of one of my friend's car at midnight while she pumped her gas
walking through the lighting section at the hardware store
" he came in, threatening..." *long pause* " ..lives"
"salad without eggs is like communism"
"i wish my bf was a boy scout so he could tie me up like that"
"i was singing tacones rojos-" "you weren't singing it right"
"straight bi or otherwise keep your hands off other men's thighs"
"my favorite part about easter break was bullying seven year olds"
"a Tootsie roll with red flags"
"now they do buy 2 get one free vasectomy"
"I didn't know what to write so i wrote the plot to sherlock in Spanish"
"awww i can't download tin- wait sorry i was thinking about tits"

if you have five minutes to spare i'd be forever grateful if you answered a couple questions about your experiences with creepypasta
Hello Victor, i have one question for you.
As someone studying language and literature, I've been told by many that my area of study is useless, simple, and less complex as compared to those involved with science, physics, or math. I have the highest respect for those involved in these STEM studies, but I'm often discouraged and find myself doubting my intelligence because of these comments. As someone who is involved in the "opposite side" of my studies, what are your thoughts? Many thanks.
Tell me, what is discovery without a means of communication? What is progress without purpose?
Language and literature are not simple, nor are they useless. Science may explain the world, but words shape our interpretation of that world… write our histories, define our cultures, change our thoughts and opinions. Science and literature both require great insight and creativity to uncover and deftly wield universal truths.
Intelligence is not only comprised of equations and experiments, but also of the ability to interpret, convey, and inspire. Many scientists direly lack these skills.
Perhaps those who regard your field as lesser ought to read more books.
My guilty pleasure right now is watching luxury hotel reviews and I found this british guy who keeps accidentally clipping into the backrooms.
He's unintentionally making the best liminal horror content on youtube
