// hiking and getting lost in the neverending glory of the Universe šš¼
Materials:
1 yellow candleĀ
1 green candleĀ
1 piece of yellow ribbon, yarn or threadĀ
1 piece of green ribbon, yarn or threadĀ
1 piece of orange ribbon, yarn or threadĀ
oil meant for luck or successĀ (such as cinnamon, clove or bergamot)
(optional) mint or rosemary oil, to enhance memoryĀ
Light the yellow candle, then the green. Make sure thereās enough room to work between the two.Ā Take the three pieces of ribbon/yarn/thread (all long enough to make a bracelet for) and begin to braid them together. The yellow, for intelligence and clarity; the green for luck; and the orange for success. As you braid them, visualize symbols associated with studying, intelligence and knowledge (books, things relate to the subject matter, etc). Once you finish braiding, dab a little bit of the oil over the place where you will tie it, and tie the bracelet (or anklet) around your wrist (or ankle) and wear it when you study and during your test.Ā

Elemental Association: Water Planetary Association: The Moon Hag Stones, also known as Holey Stones, Witch Stones, or Adder Stones, are naturally occurring stones that have a hole or holes in them, typically found near the ocean and other bodies of water. The holes occur due to the elements taking their toll on the surface of the stone, eventually breaking their way through in a specific manner.Ā Known to be powerful protection charms, they are said to protect the owner from anything ranging from negative spirits to hexes to curses to spiritual harm. If hung up next to your bed side or kept under a pillow, it is said that they will aid in preventing nightmares. It is said that if one were to peer through one of a Hag Stoneās holes, it will allow you to see the Fair Folk and other otherworldly beings at will. At your own risk. Rumor also has it that if the stone were to break, it has used its power to protect a life. Whoās life? Good question.

Thought I would take this time to share some original content with everyone!
Last week my grandfather passed away, and I felt the need to create some magic for my family to carry with them while we process this difficult loss.
I created charm bags centered around healing from grief and loss with different options for herbs and colors for the bags along with their correspondences.
Before I placed everything in the bag, I cleansed everything in the smoke of frankincense & myrh.

Moon water is water charged under the moonlight, often the full moon, to have specific energy infused.Ā
Fill your vessel with water (add stones if you wanted to make the energy more specific). Put the vessel under the moonlight, after the sun has full set. Take your vessel from itās spot before the sun raises again. Store it somewhere away from the sun.Ā
Tips:
You only need to make enough water for a month. Remember, the moon will wane, and wax again, and you will get more water.Ā
Store your water in a closed drawer/cabinet, or under a cloth to keep the sunās energy out.Ā
Uses:
Cleanse, anoint, or bind your tools.
Add to spells, potions, drinks, or meals to give them a more powerful affect.Ā
Use in place of any oils in a pinch!Ā

This one actually required a lil bit of guts to post because while this works for me, Iām just starting to branch out of the research phase of witchcraft and starting to do my own practice, but Iām still petrified of doing things āwrong.ā That disclaimer aside, Iām gonna explain what Iāve been working on and experimenting with.
So Iāve been making spell jars with candles on top lately. The idea here is that the spell jar is harnessing the energy of its contents when the candle is burning. Thatās my intention for it anyway, and it seems to be working quite well.
This particular one I made today for the purpose of cleansing residual energy after Iāve helped a spirit cross over. Iāve had some issues with spirits in my apartment lately so thatās the reason for this.
It contains: š§Stream Water (for cleansing) š§Swamp Water (for banishing) š±Juniper leaves + berries (for cleansing and protection against malignant forces) š Violet Leaves (protection against evil)
(Also Iām totally aware that the ingredients list in my grimoire includes sage. I just forgot to add the sage before I sealed it lol).
I tried it out and it works pretty well. After I helped this one spirit cross over, I left it burning where she was standing for a few minutes and the residual energy was lessened but not gone. Iād imagine Iād need to let it burn for longer.
Anyway this was a little insight into my current practice. Maybe it could serve as an idea for someone else, or maybe Iām about to get roasted. I donāt really know.
Either way, thanks for reading āŗļø
My husband gave me permission to share a picture of this special offering vessel that he made to propitiate his Kiln Spirit when working on ceramics.
I love it SO much.

āSet my *ss on Fire!āĀ Productivity and Anti-Procrastination Spell (with Ginger)
Three orange candles
Yellow string
Fresh GingerĀ
Iām the worst procrastinator under the sun, so a productivity spell for me has to be powerful - hence the ginger :) lemon oil just wonāt do the trickā¦
1) Use orange candles for energy and determination. String them together with a yellow string, envisioning your success and concentration. Additionally I like to write what I want on a piece of paper and tie it to the candles.
2) Make three knots, saying the words: My Wish, My Power, My Future.Ā
3) Cut open your fresh ginger and run it over the top of the candles, thus rubbing in its essence. I sayĀ āSet my ass on fire!ā to every candle (have I mentioned that I need my ass kicked⦠if youāre only a mild procrastinator, you might find a nicer phraseā¦).
4) Light the candles. Let the candles burn while you do your work.Ā
5) Cut a few pieces off the ginger and pour boiling water over it to make ginger tea (if you donāt have any allergies). Itās refreshing and energizing. You can stir in honey, which represents industry and success, if you want to sweeten the tea (of course, stir clockwise).
6) Get off your ass and do it! :)
