I Was Finally Able To Catch A Year Of The Echidna Prompt, And For This Week's Prompt I Had Two Ideas.

The only way I could see writing needing AI is if you're researching something with ChatGPT or something (and even then, like, you could Google it, or go onto some website about it, or even possibly find a book of it!) But like... actually writing something? Writing is so fun, so I agree that I don't understand why lol. Plus, like, the AI usually gets details wrong (even if it's real life and not some fantasy world fact lmho)

a writing competition i was going to participate in again this year has announced that they now allow AI generated content to be submitted

their reasoning being that "we couldn't ban it even if we wanted to, every writer already uses it anyway"

Been working on drawing Sonic characters (because I'm obsessed with these guys), and today I finished my first colored drawing.

Here's Knuckles (my drawing is on the left)

It's kinda messy, but I'm happy with it :3

Here's the thing about being a part of both the Pokémon and Sonic the Hedgehog fandoms:

I was thinking about Knuckles and Shadow's relationship dynamic, and I'm imagining that these two are the ones that can go from having some deep and meaningful conversation to ten minutes later they're both suspiciously quiet and you go back and find them doing something dumb but innocent (with that childhood innocence that they never had much opportunity to embrace as little kids) (also the activity is probably something that even Tails is too old to be thought doing, but they're equally invested in whatever it is - I don't have any examples so I'm explaining it like this lol).

Then the next day they're sparring over the last cookie. (Of course, they probably end up forgetting the cookie in favor of just continuing to spar, and probably—as usual—ends with them snuggling)

I love these two so much lmho

I ran out of time to finish the other idea I had, so I'm gonna go with this. Admittedly I forgot about reposting this with the tag until now, so I apologize that it's late, @year-of-the-echidna

I was finally able to catch a Year of the Echidna prompt, and for this week's prompt I had two ideas.

So here we have the first of my ideas;

Since the prompt for this week was "Moon," one of my ideas was a scene from Won the Battle (Lost the War) on Ao3 by Graves_Yard

After looking back and rereading the portion to get the quote exact, I realize that my mental image may be a bit different to how the story described it, but this just my interpretation of the scene (as far as positioning goes).

(I don't know if this'll be the one I go with, but I figured I'd share and decide from there later on!)

(also I'm very happy that I seem to have successfully unlocked Movie-Style Knuckles in my drawing arsenal!)
