Being heroic is a phenomenon that surpasses collectivity, it has to do with personal overcoming of boundaries or obstacles, as well as the process of individuation. Self knowledge and the heroic element go hand in hand as it seems. Each trial or new feat demands a further expansion of the self. And who is more representative of this prototype than Hercules? Hercules is complex, multidimensional, his grandeur is shown early on but his ego doesn’t trap him, he doesn’t become self-conceited; he endures new tests and challenges no matter what, he accepts aids, he doesn’t stay fixed in what he already knows about himself, he evolves. What is less known about Hercules is that before he becomes a hero inside the Greek mythical lore he was known as a spirit who belonged to the family of the enigmatic demons called Dactyls (that means fingers).
NEVER GIVE UP No matter what is going on Never give up Develop the heart Too much energy in your country Is spent developing the mind Instead of the heart Be compassionate Not just to your friends But to everyone Be compassionate Work for peace In your heart and in the world Work for peace And I say again Never give up No matter what is going on around you Never give up

1. Have a plan for your day, week, month and life. If you know where you’re going and what it will take, you have an easy reason to turn others down.
2. Recognise what it will cost if you give in and say “yes”. Saying “yes” once or twice may not push you to the edge. But those “yeses” sure add up...
