Jinx x Disabled!reader Headcanons

Warnings: swearing, fluff, jinx being an absolute doll when it comes to taking care of the person she loves

Jinx would absolutely build you a customized cane/ prosthetic/walker/wheel chair

If you already have one, you can expect her to frequently doodle on it when the two of you are relaxing

You'd smile every time you saw the messy blue and pink sketches of smiley faces

If you were ever in pain, she'd have your medication in hand before you could even ask

If you didn't take medication or were simply out she'd massage wherever you were experiencing discomfort

If you took baths to help relax she would join you at any chance she got

"What'cha doooin'?" She'd drawl as she sat on the edge of the bathtub you were resided in

Her braids dangling into the water

The steam in the room from the scalding water causing her eyeshadow to smear and her hair baby hairs frazzled

After undressing she'd tell you to "Scooch"

Where she would then sit behind you in the tub, your back to her chest as she absent-mindedly played with your hair or ran her nails lightly along your back

If you used a wheelchair she would ask to push you around if you wanted, often resulting in her yelling "Full steam ahead, baby!" Anytime someone blocked the path you were taking

If you used a cane she would give you a knowing look anytime Sevika came to pester the two of you

To which you gladly handed it over

And she would either attempt to trip Sevika or make a wack at her shins

Jinx never saw your disability as something to be ashamed of while in a relationship with you despite what others may say

God's help anyone who would attempt to insult you for your disability

"Bold words coming from an ableist, now fuck off" As she flicked the offenders forhead

Where she would then skip away, laughing and waiting for the ticking of the paint bomb she placed on the dumbasses back to go off

She wouldn't deter her eccentric energy from you

If anything, you encouraged her hyper-ness

You hated when people saw you as fragile, a piece of delicate glassware ready to break

And she made sure to not treat you, or allow anyone else to treat you as such on a daily basis

You were strong despite what limitations you may face and she admired it

She often struggled with her own issues and the two of you would bounce encouragement off each other

You were still capable of so much and she never saw you as anything less than normal.

misc. masterlist

-spontaneous three am dates to graffiti some random building in zaun or even piltover if you two are feeling bold, she'll teach all her stealthy and artistic ways to get things done lol

-laying your head on her lap or shoulder while she works on her newest creations, she will pat your head and throw a big grin your way every once in a while

-she might be loud and outspoken but in a relationship she is a bit shy at first with asking for affection and letting you know what goes on in her mind, though once she gets comfortable she'll talk your ear off about how much she thinks about you

-if you are also into tinkering and building things (she'll be glad to teach you if you don't!) she will treat these moments together as dates and will love every single second of it

-doesn't sleep much but when she does she is knocked out, this means good luck getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night because she will have a strong grip on you and won't let go until she wakes up

-dance parties where you two simply rock out to each other's favorite songs for hours, it's one of her favorite ways to decompress with you!; though she might not consider herself a great dancer by any means she still seems to move perfectly along to the music playing

-needs constant reassurance from you that you won't leave her and that you actually love her, she knows already but just let her know that the voices/hallucinations are wrong about your intentions

-finding random little gifts and trinkets in your space that she left for you, loves to give you surprise gifts of things she's made or stole from up top; sometimes you will find yourself hiding a surprise gift for her, meanwhile she's doing the same, it's like your minds are connected lol
