Kirbtober day 21 : Rival

Of course, the two best frennemies for today ! I tried to use color pencils to achieve a more comic book effect for this one. I like the result, althought I coudn't make the background as smooth as with watercolors. Maybe I sould try to mix the two next time ?

Kirbtober day 27 : Control

At first, I wasn't planning on making gijinkas for the kirbtober, but this image was stuck in my head, and I had to let it out. I love imagining the master crown's spirit his a little evil gremlin.

Just a little Zelda from Echoes of wisdom ! I actually started drawing it before the game was released, and I finised it just now. Haven't played the game yet.

Kirbtober day 28 : Final boss

No matter what you're drawing, if it has a black background, it become instantly 10 time cooler. And I added some glitter too ! The real fight for me was to no put it everywhere in my room

Kirbtober day 26 : Moon

It's tarot card day ! I made a list of wich kirby character should be associated with wich tarot arcana a while ago, and it's finaly time to use it. Meannings and interpretation of the card under the cut !

The arcana of the moon means dream, inconscious and illusions. I associated it with the dark matter species, with the idea of inners fears and darkness. It's not the most fitting card, but it's actually hard to find an arcana that's only negative in the tarot system. So, here it is, if you have others ideas, feel free to share !

Also, this card is usually connected with the second major arcana, the hight prietress. She is supposed to be the guardian of the secrets of the moon. In my kirby tarot interpretation, she is represented by the fairy queen... Who is precisely hiding the fact that she's possed by 02. (She has other connections with this arcana, but i think this post is long enough has it already is.).

Maybe I'll do the rest of the cards someday, but first, I'll finish the kirbtober !

Adult Ath from Radiant Historia (Perfect Chronology)

I've finished the game recently, and I really liked it ! I've seen lot of flaws in it too, including the sexualisation of female characters. Like. Come on. Ath is 9 ! Can you just give her a shirt ?

So here's a redesign, imagining her older, more dressed, and with a red scarf that remind her of a certain someone...

I wanted a poster of Land of the lustrous, but I didn't knew where to find one... So I made it ! I think the mix between watecolors and acrylics for the white and the gold worked pretty well

So, a while ago, I was listening to the theme of 02 with lyrics made by @manontheinternet. I really liked the lyrics, so I decided to adapt it in a comic form ! And with gijinkas, because why not.

Since it's a song, I decided not to use any panel, or at least not conventional ones (like in the 3rd page). It's actually a really good composition exercise ! All was made with thin marker, watercolors and acrylics for the black parts and the whites texts.

I have some other pages finished, some in progress. Hopefully I'll have the motivation to do the whole song !

Philo classes can be boring, right ? So during that loooong time, I drew this. The stained glass style was fitting well for this character, and it make it a cool poster. The colors turned out incredibly smooth, despite being color pencils. It was really fun to put as many references to Void as possible.

I have another one based on Taranza and Sectonia in stock but incomplete, I sould finish it someday !
