Hi guys, it's just me, finally coming out of my shell to thank you all. Yes, THANK YOU:) to every single one of you who's been reading what I write, and for the likes and sweet words- comments are always welcome ^-^

So I can't help but notice that a few of you @why-am-i-on-this-website-anyway @kaiwewi @midnightmadnesss @bigmoth16 (if I've missed anyone else, I'm terribly sorry, but pls know that you're greatly appreciated <3) have been so kind to take the time and read through almost everything I've written on my page, then liked it and I can't say how happy it made me feel. So a special thank you to you all:)

The conflict and emotions in this one, lovely 🥺❤

Beautiful Lies

“It pains me to see my hero that way.” The villain said after a moment of silence.

And, oh god, didn’t that sound too soft? Too sad? So unlike the venomous words that usually dripped from the villain’s lips, burning themselves into the hero’s mind as if they were acid.

This seemed so different, so alien.

A flawless impression of sincere concern. Almost like the villain had actually meant it. Oh, it would have been so easy to believe those words. So tempting to trust a voice like the promise of a comforting embrace, a soothing touch.

Such beautiful lies,

but lies nonetheless.

This was wrong.

“I’m not yours!” The hero shot back, clutching at the anger churning up searing hot inside of them like it was their one and only lifeline. At least it was far more welcome than any of the other emotions currently coursing through them.

They didn’t want to have to deal with the villain right now.

They didn’t want this conversation.

They didn’t want these feelings.

All of this was so very wrong!

Years of experience in the field and a long acquaintance with the other had taught the hero better than to foolishly fall for any of that.

And yet nothing could have prepared them for how the villain’s face twisted into that pitiful frown they were now wearing. For how the villain’s hand flew to their own chest, clawed at the fabric of their shirt. How their voice cracked when they spoke.

“In my heart, we’ve always been each other’s.”

Oh, dear.

The hero had been mistaken, hadn’t they?

With all that burning fury so suddenly forgotten, an icy shiver crept down their spine as they recognised the villain’s words for what they truly were.

Not a beautiful lie,

but an ugly truth.

Hello! Can you please do something with a female hero and a female villain who are dating but pretend to be enemies around everyone else please? Thank you!

yes of course!  sorry this is a bit short

“Sierra!!  Stop fucking around!”

Sierra sighed.  Did she want to fight Quinn? Of course not.  Was her boss currently giving her a death stare because she hadn’t hit Quinn yet?  Maybe.

Sierra and Quinn had a very.. complicated relationship.  Sierra was a superhero, and Quinn was a villain.  They first met when Quinn was hijacking a bank, and Sierra had been sent to stop her.  Sierra remembered the first thing she thought was ‘Wow. She’s beautiful’.  A grave injury and a blurted-out confession later, the two of them were happily dating.

But, no one knew about their relationship.  That was how Sierra found herself on the battlefield, being yelled at by her superior for going easy on a villain, aka her girlfriend.  She sighed, moving closer to Quinn.  “Quinn..” Sierra hissed, eyebrows raised.  Quinn’s eyes widened in comprehension.  The next thing she knew, her girlfriend was writhing on the ground, moaning in pain.

Sierra tried her best to hold back a laugh at Quinn’s horrible acting.  Quinn caught her eye and winked, causing Sierra to let out an undignified snort.  Her boss looked over at her, confusion evident on her face.  Sierra made sure her body was shielding Quinn’s before kissing her gently.  Quinn stiffened at first, but eventually relaxed and grabbed Sierra’s hand.  The kiss was far too short, in Sierra’s opinion, but there was nothing they could do about that.  Sierra was cursing all the gods above as she pulled away- her stupid boss would start wondering what was taking her so long.  Quinn looked up at her quizzically, and she felt guilt course through her chest.  “I’m sorry about this,” she whispered, caressing Quinn’s face.

“It’s okay baby,” Quinn replied.  “Just hit me,” she said, gesturing to herself.

Sierra knocked her in the jaw, a sick feeling churning in her stomach as she watched Quinn crumple to the ground.  

I was searching for angst and you just fed me with this T-T

Villain coughed, red spilling over their lips in thin rivulets. They forced their hazy vision to focus on Hero, who was kneeling at their side, desperately trying to staunch the bleeding of the gaping wound in their stomach.

They lifted a hand to brush over Hero’s tense fingers. “We....we made a good team, didn’t we?” they whispered hoarsely.

Hero pressed harder on the injury, hands stained with crimson. “No—no don’t talk like that. You’re going to make it.”

Villain managed a weak smile, knowing that they had only a few more minutes. “You need to keep going, Hero. You have to make it home. For me. For all of us.”

Hero tore off a piece of their shirt and tried to use the fabric instead of their palms, but it was drenched in a matter of seconds. “I can’t, Villain.” Their voice cracked. “Not without you. Just...just hold on for a little longer.” They threw the useless cloth off to the side in frustration and looked up at the expanse of empty terrain. “Help!! Please!! Somebody!! Anybody!”

Their cries disappeared into nothingness.

“Please...” They slumped down, a broken sob tearing out of their throat, helpless to do anything as the life slowly seeped out of their lover.

Villain reached up and brushed away one of their tears with a thumb. “It’s okay, Hero. It’s going to be okay,” they rasped. “You’re going to be okay.”

Hero swallowed thickly, grabbing Villain’s hand and holding on tight with their own blood-crusted one. “N-no I’m not,” they choked out. “You...you were everything to me, Villain.”

Villain coughed violently and shuddered, black edging the corners of their eyes. The world seemed to spin and dip and blur together—or maybe it was just their tears.

It was all happening too fast.

“Make it home,” they murmured, barely audible. A heaviness settled deeply on their chest, pulling them into the ground.

They smiled one last time.

“I love you, Hero.”

They didn’t get to hear Hero’s response before they were swiftly bundled away into the blanket of darkness around them.
