My Son... Must Hold. (Thanks You To My Friend For Getting Me This For My Bdayyyyyyy!)

Prolly gonna post a ton for the first couple days since I don’t know how this is sposed to work, then not post at all, then post, then make another account for the comic I’ve wanted to make since forever... The cycle is endless and painless. But I am really damn proud of this Toxita art :)

It’s been a year and this is still one of the best shitposts I’ve EVER made.  

This was a dare from one of my friends on discord and I think just because it came out way better than I was expecting it to and this was also when I was beginning to truly enhance my art style, this silly doodle is surprisingly near and dear to my heart.

I had to play for a minute with the Christmas present I got for my bf...

OMG I finally finished this design an ETERNITY ago and never posted smh... 

Here is Adrian’s completed design with her doc oc arms and all! I had both a challenge and and BLAST deciding how I was gonna make everything look and be octopus themed so here’s a rundown: 

 Bike helmet looks like a beak since octopi have beaks but most people don’t really know about that. The shading was hard as hell but I was eventually able to make it look like oil or mayhaps some ink? 

Her mask: Meant to mimic Japanese diving mask that inhale water and then allow you to breath the oxygen in the water.  (Still don’t know the exact science behind it all lol) Like with her ankle braces and wrist tubes from my last post those little knobs on the sides of her face mask are indicators of her oxygen levels.  The brighter, the better her circulation and flow is goingSince her blood is her weapon of choice aside from normal combat and her tentacle powers, she’s going to be needing a lot of air if she wants to last long in a fight. I also tried to make the actual shape if the filter on the mask look like a filter in a fish tank or the gates to Poseidon’s castle. Take your pick!

Her visor: Meant to look like a squid when their skin is at a more neutral glow rather than their invisibility when camouflaged. The actual shape is also very similar to an octopi or squids eyes.

Her hands: Grab attack! Injector fingers adding a little more weight to the idea of “if this character gets a hold of you- Its game over..” the more she grabs onto you, the faster the fight is going to go but this doesn’t mean it doesn’t tire her out a bit either. It IS still her blood after all.

And finally I’v got a nice showing of what the back of her suit looks like and where the tentacles are positioned on her back! If any of you have constructive criticisms or advice I’d be happy to hear it! so far this is my favorite out of the fighting character designs I’ve come up with and I’m very proud of myself for what I was able to accomplish with it.

Welp, I haven't slept in two days... But I DID finish what I think its gonna be a hell of a good gift for my one-year anniversary with my bf today! He's OBSESSED with the overhaul arc and I've had this poster idea in my head for MONTHS so, why not? Hope he likes it... Either way, I'm so so happy with how this came out and even happier to have the person I made it for!

WOOOOOOO! Another character design! I don’t make detailed outfits nor machinery very often so I am SO damn proud of myself rn!!! 

Her name is Adrian and after many scientific endevours and failures, she now has the ability to attack enemies with her poisenous blood that is filtered through the suction cup motifs on her wrists ankles and Tony stark esque chest (also as its coming straight from her heart and is going to need oxygen and circulation IMMEDIATLY as she's using her own lifeforce to attack enemies. Her fingers with more suction cup details (I forgot to mention her design is based on deep sea and blue ringed octupi as she also has tentacles in place of extra arms but i haven't designed them yet) These suckers however have little needle barbs inside so if she grabs you she can inject you in that way as well (yes i was VERY inspired by Toga from MHA for this idea and i don't even really like Toga that much. Don't touch my son you creep.) You can also assume she has these on the bottom of her very diver like shoes (I also tried to give her a swimmers body type and make her hair look like a scuba suit) Her hair and skin are also meant to look the way a persons does when they drown or freeze to death and moss grows on hair as it decays/skin changes color as it looses air.  I think i still need to fix up her suction circulators on her wrists and chest so that they look less plopped on and more like they actually look as well as put more detail onto her splatoon style vials on her back but hey, machines/mechanics are NOT my forte and I'm still VERY happy with this design even if its not complete!

I’m so SO happy with how both the piece and final video came out especially when working with Hayden who runs the channel as aside from being an incredible voice actor he is also just the biggest sweetheart. Hopefully, whatever bs rift will inevitably be put between these sweethearts in season 2 won't be too tedious... part of me is hoping they cover interracial relationships since it was kiiiiiiinda hinted at but I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

We then went on to have a LOVELY conversation about the art of making burgers on people’s heads and see how long it takes them to notice.

After finding out that Darreth has a crush on Gale, I actually thought it was really cute and of course my mind took off on itself and imagined a bunch of scenarios for these two to be together or situations where I think their personalities would work well off one another.  In other words, I ship this now and since I don’t think anyone else does and there isn't a name for said ship: Are ya’ll ok with dubbing this “Chocolate Gossip” mayhaps~? 

I also included Vinny because that scene where he fanboys over Garmedon is SO damn cute relatable and honestly makes me want him to have his own episode now....
