I've never cared about Harry Potter or JK Rowling that much, but the fact that people were announcing that they were removing Harry Potter tattoos over her opinions, or boycotting a game and shaming anyone who didn't, or even burning books should have been what woke me up years ago. I have not heard of HP Lovecraft or worse authors getting as much hate as she has, to the point where even liking any of her work is met with scrutiny. Apparently separating the author from their work can only work if the author isn't even gently pressing against a certain dogma.

Not much of an update. I haven't touched this project since the last one.

I've been thinking of taking off a couple of rows to make it a shorter skirt. I live in the Caribbean and this skirt is warmer than expected 😖 🔥

While I contemplate that, I'll finally be working on the waistband. I'm going to do it with double crochet and do decreases to bring it to the size of my waist.

Wish me luck, because I'm doing this with no reference whatsoever!

i know we all love our perfectly evil Ghost Investigation Ward, but i was rewatching the second Men in Black movie with my dad a while ago and I couldn’t help but feel like an AU in which the Guys in White’s motivations and morality more closely resembled their namesake could be really interesting … i’d love to see a fic in which danny works alongside the ghost police/border patrol/detective squad instead of being kidnapped and tortured by them

I don't really talk about being a Christian on here, because ever since reading the Bible in full for the first time ever, I realised that I knew nothing about the faith that I was born into.

I don't want to be out here saying wrong stuff that would lead people to the devil instead of God.
