Kirk: Federation law is very clear on this
Kirk: (Proceeds to do whatever he wants anyway)
Picard: Federation law is very clear on this but I’m a very creative reader
Janeway: Guys you’re not going to believe this; Federation law has fucking NOTHING relevant to this current situation but I’m going to read 20 hours of other captain’s logs to make sure. Buckle up though because we’re probably going to do some buckwild shit after the commercial break

You ever write a really awesome sentence and then just stare at it for a while like, "Damn. I wrote that?!"
And then every other sentence ends up looking like a drunk text and you realize you've somehow offended yourself.
Gestalt: Genesis Class Crew Complement: 480 The “right hand” of the Sojourner class, Ardent is responsible for terraforming newly created planets. She carries the Location and Material Induction system that pinpoints locations suitable for star formation and transmits coordinates to Ithaca. Due to the LMI system’s extreme power requirements, Ardent is heavily shielded but carries no weapons.
In the distance, there was a gap in the glimmer of the stars. The sparks of countless more refracted off of something sleek and black. Thin veins of light traced impossible contours in layers of glowing white, and flashes of amber erupted and rippled outward when pieces of Ithaca’s wreckage got a bit too close. Another shaft of light slashed through the darkness, across the window, trained on something that streaked past Ithaca’s wing and then stopped to hover near the rubble of her bow.
A red glow bloomed from somewhere aft, and the shadow came about, close enough to take shape. Judith’s pulse thrummed in her ears. She recognized those lines. The iridescent ebony skin of the hull. The broad, hammerhead wings of the stern and the long, sleek prow that tapered into a wedge.
Ardent.
My proposed bumper sticker design in honor of Threshold Day
Can anyone recommend their favorite WLW Star Trek or Stargate fanfics I should download while I try to dissociate next week? I have seen Discovery, Voyager, Picard, and the new movies, but if it is well written I am happy to read from Star Trek series I haven't seen yet!
I primarily ship Janeway/Seven, already have Burnished Slate and Wild Horses, and all of the Just Between series.
Bonus points if it's slow burn with an action/adventure/mystery/psychological drama plot =D
Thank you ❤️
Chapter 5 is up ❤️
Fandoms: Star Trek: Voyager x Star Trek: Discovery
Relationship: Kathryn Janeway x Seven of Nine
Rating: Mature
Summary: After Captain Janeway contracts an illness during an expedition to an uninhabited planet and orders USS Voyager to leave her behind, a certain hardheaded Astrometrics officer isn't so keen on abandoning her Captain. As Janeway and Seven learn to navigate the strange new dynamic forming between them, it becomes apparent that the planet they now call home has a much deeper story to tell--one that seems to defy logic, reality, and even the natural order of time itself.
I want to see Captain Seven, dammit.
Star Trek: Picard The Star Gazer
The first time I realized Woolsey from Stargate was in Voyager I knew I was gonna love the show.
STAR TREK: VOYAGER (1995–2001)
The Ithaca Mandate: Chapter 14 [Snippet]
Judith cast her attention out the grimy freighter windows. In the distance, another vessel hovered in the gap between stars. She was so far off that she looked little more than a specter–a vestige of alabaster against velvety black, a shiver of movement in the void. The red bloom of her engines was just starting to grow, expanding as if to obscure her from the insolent violation of Judith’s gaze. Ithaca had arrived six days before Ardent to render aid to the stricken freighter, but her presence there was grudging, a sour token of compliance to her Captain’s demands. Judith could sense the great ship’s resentment in the way she loomed, her colossal impatience pulsing across the expanse in time to her engines’ ominous burgeoning glow. The red swelled until it encompassed her entirely, and then with a violent flare Ithaca was gone, snapped out of existence as though she had never been there at all. Her departure seemed almost petulant, her sudden absence so striking it stole the air from Judith’s lungs and returned it to them molten. She stared at the empty place where Ithaca had been, blistered and breathless, unsettled by an instinct she couldn’t define.
Ordered my Star Trek: Discovery Blu-rays because I've gotten into collecting physical media again and my internet out here drops a lot, and honestly I don't even know why I bothered buying all 5 seasons since 3 and 4 are dead to me and the only reason I liked 5 was because they brought Airiam back for 15 minutes when they could have spent 3 seasons with her as a major villain and let her try to torch the Federation while possessed by an evil AI that had access to her memories and everything she knew about Starfleet and Discovery as a Lieutenant Commander...😭
Anyway, I ordered some Blu-rays so now I can be mad even without internet.
