When sorrow and difficulties strike hard, hope becomes the lone star in the dark sky. This is the story of Amira, a 23-year-old girl who found herself bearing the burden of her family after her father's death three years ago due to the coronavirus.
After my father's passing, I found myself taking care of my family, consisting of my mother, sister Noor, and brother Abdulrahman. My mother, suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, faces health problems that further complicate their situation. But courage and determination drive Amira forward.
I worked as a teaching assistant at the university while pursuing a master's degree in data science, and also worked as a programmer in a company. My life was going smoothly until war came and destroyed everything.
My university, workplace, and home were completely destroyed, forcing them to flee south in search of a safe haven. Now, I and my family live in tents for displaced people in Deir al-Balah, where they suffer from water shortages and the spread of diseases, posing an additional challenge, especially for my immunocompromised mother.
i drew some ssm stuff to accomodate my headcanon post from last night.
this is like a weird au thing? ock kidnaps peter w/ the help of carnage (long story, i might elaborate) in an attempt to get to spider-man. peter reveals himself to be His Father's Son and otto is full on "please let me adopt you"
baby pete n' his father, richard. obviously i need baby pete to be obsessed with otto and him being like "aw cool im besties with this baby :) what an innocent creature :) i could never declare my undying hatred for this thing :)" because angst.
connected so much to the first one except infinitely less :). very much just Typical Spider-Man Fan Takes Joy In Peter's Suffering.
that's all for now, kids :)
Hello,my name is Kholood Smeer, and I am reaching out to you with an urgent plea to help my family escape the horrors we are facing in Gaza. I am a 29-year-old physiotherapist, currently living in northern Gaza with my husband Khaled, a dedicated paramedic, our two-year-old daughter Amira, my mother, and my younger brother. I gave birth to a baby a week ago, and each day here is a fight for survival. Shortly after, our home was reduced to rubble in a bombing, and our lives were shattered. Now, we are left with nothing—no home, no security, and no way out on our own.
Plz if u can reed my story on my campaign
That we need to put first goal 5000
Inshallah we can achieve it quickly 🙏

okay all of these are just thoughts in my noggin that i want to get out.
this is basically all spoiler territory for the entire series.
Peter and Eddie's fathers (Dr. Richard Parker and Dr. Carl Brock) worked together with Dr. Otto Octavius at Oscorp in a "developmental" laboratory, right around when it first became a military contractor. They offered for Octavius to join them at their new lab, which he declined.
Dr. Octavius definitely met a young Peter and Eddie. Granted, they likely don't remember ever meeting him. Aunt May, however, does remember him, and was shocked to see him as Doc Ock.
(if) Spider-Man's identity was revealed to Doc Ock, he would instantly recognize him. Peter's basically the spitting image of his father. It would send him spiraling to see at his greatest enemy that he's tried to kill on several occasions is actually his late friend's only son.
It's not just Peter, he's familiar with Eddie Brock as well. He actually remembers Eddie better, as he was a pretty talkative child who would come into the lab and constantly ask questions about what he was working on. Otto actually offered to mentor Eddie in robotics. When Eddie politely declined the offer because he wanted to study genetics, Otto wrote him a sparkling letter of recommendation to the Conners.
(if) Venom's identity was revealed to Doc Ock, I think he'd be more sad than shocked. He remembers Eddie Brock as a talkative, excitable child and an intelligent, confident young man, not as the violent, moody wreck of a man he sees. It makes him really self-reflective, and he tries to reach out to him to see if he can help.
Unfortunately, the help wouldn't be totally welcome. Still fixated on creating "super-mercenaries," he'd eventually discover that symbiotes reproduce asexually and exploit Eddie's connection to the symbiote to create genetically-enhanced symbiotes (see: "Lethal Protector" 1993), leading to a whole new mess.
(if) Black Cat ever met Peter Parker, she wouldn't recognize him at all. "This dweeb? This little fucking scrumblo nerd who couldn't stop stuttering and blushing? You're saying he's Spider-Man? No."
Mary Jane Watson Is Bisexual. She likes men and women. Proof? She asked Glory to a date at the formal. She and Peter are Both Bisexual Together.
Peter is outed to Sandman (Flint Marko) as Spider-Man because Flint took a job as the janitor at his school. He recognized him by his voice, as Peter was shoved into a locker and Flint couldn't see him. Flint had an entire redemption arc in those 10 seconds of horrified eye contact as he realized he'd been trying to kill an actual child this entire time. He was also fucking infuriated that he'd been getting foiled by a literal child for MONTHS but that's beside the point.
Really like both ideas
*steps on stage nervously*
Uhh.. umm. Uhhhhh
Spidey Academy AU!!
Like Xavier's School for Gifted Children, Miguel - a Spider-person fond of kids, opened a Spidey-Science Academy, for the Spidey-people of the universe
It's not like a high school. There's five years and the years are not really sorted by age - but by experience.
So Hobie would be a year 3 - a middleclass-man
Pavitr is a year 1 - a freshman
And the classes, are all based on honing your Spider-powers and senses.
There's assignments, things you have to take home and do.
They're give you a fake evil Doc Ock chip and have you decode it and make it good again (like Peter in No Way Home).
Or they ask you to stop a petty robbery without using your webs. You have to bring in the Daily Bugles article on you the next day and they grade you on that.
(Hey say what you want but Jonah reports the facts he just talks a lot of shit)
Any class a Spider-person needs, they have.
You name it-
Home Ec? No. Sewing and Suit Repair Class
Gym? No. Swinging & Strength Endurance
Science? ALL ADVANCED. Freshmen's take Advanced Spider-biology and have to learn ALL the different Spider-variations and illnesses Spider-people can get. Multiversal Physics.
All of the honor classes are FULL.
There's also other helpful ones like Firefighting Training and Sign Language (both mandatory), hence how Insomniac!Miles is completely fluent in ASL.
Oh - also. Because Miguel is such a tight-ass -
UNIFORMS. Sweater vests over pants or shorts. (No skirts cause they still be upsidedown and shit)
You have to bring your mask everyday. It's like your ID card
y'all ever had that? Like y'all needed an ID to get into school and if you didn't have it they charged you? Like money? My school did that we also had metal detectors like the airport I'm so deadass this was just a normal public school - I'm getting distracted, anyway-
Of COURSE Ms.Jessica Drew is Assistant Principal. OF COURSE she also teaches Advanced Combat and Strategies class.
And YES she's a hard-ass grader. Has never given a 100% in her life. On some 'This was the best thing I've read in my entire teaching career but you forgot to indent on paragraph 5 so 99%'
She doesn't give a fuck about your GPA!!!
Unlike Mr.Peter B. Parker.
He makes people call him 'Professor PB'. He wants to be the cool teacher.
His classroom is SO FUN during lunch time. Probably runs the anime and manga club. He's that really nerdy teacher that you don't expect to be like "I know what anime is! I grew up on Dragon Ball 😁
His class are always fun but SO chaotic. Still wears sweatpants sometimes. He's the Science teacher.
And every year they take class photos and there's a Spidey homecoming where everyone parties on the walls in cute outfits.
CAN YOU SEE IT?
Swinging Team instead of Track and Field???
CAN YOU IMAGINE IT?

I'm Anas Basil, a recent high school graduate with dreams of pursuing a degree in e-business management and building a career. However, due to my family's financial hardships, I enrolled at Khan Younis Training College (KYTC), affiliated with UNRWA. Sadly, the war has turned the college, once a beacon of hope and education, into a shelter for displaced families, stripping it of its educational purpose.
I completed high school with a 93% average, filled with excitement about continuing my education and securing a job to support my family. But like so many others, the war has shattered those dreams.
My younger brother, Ahmad, is 14 years old and currently in the third grade of preparatory school. We’ve always called him "Doctor of the Future" because of his intelligence and natural talent in mathematics. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing war, he has been deprived of schooling for the second consecutive year. In addition to his academic abilities, Ahmad has a passion for football and used to win tournaments.
Our Life in Displacement: The war forced our family to flee to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for several months. Each day, my brother and I would wake up to fetch water, gather wood, and light a fire to prepare food. Survival became our daily task, but we never gave up hope. The conflict affected us deeply, but it did not extinguish our dreams of education and a better future.
We are seeking €29,000 to help Ahmed and me leave Gaza, continue our education. More importantly, it will allow us to support our family, who have been deeply affected by the harsh conditions and skyrocketing costs of living due to the ongoing war in Gaza.
We've outlined how your donations will make this possible. You can find all the details in the campaign link below.
Your contribution will not only help us escape the war-torn reality we live in but also give us the opportunity to rebuild our futures.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to our goal.
With deepest gratitude, Anas & Ahmed

I am Kawthar Zeyad Ramadan from Gaza, I am 29 years old.
I live every day war, destruction and fear, a feeling that can only be described by those who live it.
War is not easy, as I lost part of my family, my home and my work.
I graduated from university with a high grade and worked as a fashion designer and opened my own project because it was my hobby from the beginning.
I developed and succeeded in my field, but the war came and I lost everything in a moment.
My work was my source of livelihood for my family, so because of it there was no longer any source of income.
Also, my mother has been suffering from kidney failure for years and needs dialysis 3 times a week.
Because of the war, she suffered from going to the hospital in danger and long distances.
Also, the lack of adequate care caused her severe fatigue and hospitals became an unhealthy place because of the large numbers who needed treatment.
I had many ambitions and dreams that I wanted to achieve and succeed and become a famous fashion designer.
All we wanted was to survive the war. We were forced to be displaced more than 10 times at least.
We suffer a lot from the tent as we lived the summer with its extreme heat as it is made of poor quality nylon
And from insects and diseases
And now winter has come and we are drowning in the tents and the extreme cold
We fear death every day, we love life
Your help by donating even a small amount is able to save my life and my family's from death
Every €15 or €20 will contribute to saving
my family

Hello, my name is Aya, I am 26 years old, currently living in the northern part of Gaza City, and I am a mother of two children. My oldest is my daughter, Sanaa, who is 5 years old, and my youngest is my son, Wasfi, who is 3.
Since the morning of October 7th, 2023, our lives have been turned upside down. We have lived through the hardest days of our lives, facing displacement and homelessness. We have been forced to leave our home more than ten times since the war began. We would leave without knowing where to go.
We sought refuge in schools and relatives' homes, hoping we could return home and that this nightmare would end. But our house was bombed, and our dreams were destroyed. We became homeless and displaced.
Every day, we wake up to the sound of bombs and rockets. I lived in constant fear and terror with my children, especially when my family's house was bombed while we were taking shelter there.
We are experiencing a real famine in Gaza. I’ve gone to bed with my children many nights without dinner because there is no food available. We have had to eat animal and bird feed due to the high cost of flour just to fill the hunger of my young children. Even after eating it, we all suffered from diarrhea and severe stomach pain. My children developed rashes on their bodies due to the spread of viruses and the accumulation of garbage. There is also a severe shortage of water, and even when we find it, it's not safe to drink.
My children cry, asking for vegetables, fruits, and eggs, but we can’t afford them because we have no income. The gas shortage has forced us to use fire for everything—cooking and baking—using plastic and pipes because firewood is so hard to find.
My children also developed jaundice, and I struggled a lot to get them better because there was no access to vegetables, fruits, or medicine. I even feared that my son might have developed polio because he already had leg problems before the war, and they worsened due to malnutrition.
Winter is coming, and we have nothing for it. I need clothes and shoes for my children to keep them warm, but I can’t buy them because they are so expensive.
For this reason, I beg of you and hope that you can support me, even with the smallest contribution, so I can provide my children with the most basic necessities of life.
I was displaced with my children to my family's house, tears in my eyes. On the way, Salah Al-Din Street was bombed, and the Israeli occupation committed horrific massacres. By the grace of God, we survived for the first time. We lived in terror and fear. A few days later, my family's house was bombed, and we were pulled out from under the rubble, miraculously surviving for the second time.
When my husband heard the news that we had died, he came to bid us farewell, only to find us alive by God's grace. We returned with him, but as the situation worsened and the fire belts in our area increased, we started to flee again and again, not knowing where to go next.
I beg of you to share my story and help me continue to live.
So, you know all those angsty stories revolving around ID reveal and truth serum for Peter? Well, what if instead all the truth serum did was make him sass his baddies harder and explain how stupid they all are? Like, straight up no filter for how little he thinks of them intellectually and morally.
