No but to be serious guys i didnt expect that movie to be that kind of good. I expected great fights. I expected complicated morals. I did not expect that movie to say i know everything seems hopeless but you dont get a choice, you have to try. I did not expect that movie to say when we are up against an impossible, unjust threat the only way through is freely given kindness and forgiveness. I did not expext that movie to say the real way villans win is by preying on those we’ve already decided are hopeless. I did not expect that movie to say we all have to believe we can get better. Please believe me we can all get better. Oh my god.

Author Note: This is very poorly written cause it was kinda just a passing midnight thought where I just happened to have access to my laptop. Also, I don't encourage any toxic implications of shit like this in real life, my intention was not to glorify or romanticize toxic relationships IRL, This is just supposed to be a horror fic. This is kinda the darkest thing I've written so far, which doesn't really say a lot of interesting stuff about me.

Eryn startled a bit as she was lifted up.

"Sorry! Sorry. I thought this was abandoned. I'd been looking at the history 'n stuff and wanted to explore. I didn't know it was still inhabited. Sorry, sir," she replies, trying to hide the confusion that still lingered as she rubbed the back of her aching head. Wait. Hold on a minute. Though it was hard to see, there was a clock in the back, reading 11:14. That was close to when she arrived. Things slowly started to click together in her head as she recalled the comment made about hitting her head. She'd been unconscious, and none of the things with Phantom and the violent interaction with Natemare hadn't happened. It was one hell of a mindfuck, but it did make sense.

Eryn doesn't know how long she sleeps for, but she finds herself slowly stirring a while later. She keeps her eyes closed, rolling over and hoping to go back to sleep.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

It may have been 3am, but that didn't mean Eryn's guard was any less vigilant, standing stock-still just a few feet away, sword still in her hand. In the time the teen had slept, several more souls had come into the room, all of them with the same palpable tension as Callithie, though none of them had chosen to arm themselves. The only light came from Tobias now, softly glowing through the darkness, the flickering, shimmering quality of his flames making the light dance. Tap. Tap. Tap. Every single soul tensed, straightening slightly - in one case sitting up from where they'd been half-laying in the curve of an aerial hoop - looking around for the source. Callithie raised her blade a little higher. "...if shit hits the fan, protect the kid," murmured a soft, southern-accented voice. Lilia shifted slightly, pulling blonde curls up into a more combat-ready ponytail. "None of us can die... she 'ain't so safe from whatever's comin'..."
