- when ren got home that day, he did what any angry chronically online teenager in that era and beyond would do and created ‘ghidorastan64’ as a means to take out his frustration on others, its worth noting the internet was a very different place than it is today, with that being said, he frequently targeted monarch pages, pro titan pages, vivienne graham in particular, and later went on to troll real life lolcows such as chris chan.

- ren DID NOT know ghidorah was a real thing when he created the username, to him, it was an evil creature from mythology and he had no idea said creature would fuck him over.

- nowadays, the ghidorastan64 account became so infamous several people began to use the handle— this means ren wasn’t the only one trolling bernie and a few copycat trolls came along down the line. even nearly 20 years after the account was made, controller x!ren considers this his biggest secret and feels true fear whenever someone refers to him as ghidorastan64 as opposed to X.

What have ghidorah and ren taught eachother abt life as a titan and life as a human respectively?

considering ren and ghidorahs dynamic in ‘ghidorahs voice’ is very much ‘an enemy of my enemy.. is my friend’ dynamic, ren couldn’t give less of a shit abt ghidorahs worldviews and iirc in the gvk novelization, ren was content w enslaving the remaining titans once godzilla fell, so had ghidorah been there, he prolly wouldve enslaved ghidorah wo batting an eye.

ghidorah has taught ren that his own humanity is holding him back and imprinted several of his worldviews onto ren (the gvk novelization implies ren was further corrupted by his repeated exposure to ghidorahs remnants) hell, ghidorah taught ren not to feel any guilt abt leveling hong kong and indirectly killing 4000 people, rather taught ren to feel ashamed he was caught and could very well end up in prison.

on the other hand, ren has taught ghidorah a big skill— patience. ren, among other things, dealt with walter simmons for over a decade and his resentment towards the world in general built up, ren waited his whole life to get revenge and ghidorah (ni and san more specifically) learned that revenge is a dish best served cold, additionally, ichi and ni pretty much agree w all of rens views on social, political, economical stuff because they havent been introduced to anything else meanwhile san accessed the worldwide web during his brief time as mechagodzilla.

theres so many ways to explore how ghidorah ‘possessed’ ren since possession is such a big umbrella, but lately ive been thinking of a ‘gold fever’ au that diverges from canon after rens initial test run where he tore skullcrawler no.10 up, he becomes patient zero to the gold fever! im thinking a hivemind thing connected to ghidorah, i havent rlly thought of the basics of this disease since all i know is he goes on to infect walter— who as an extremely influential figure uses his platform to infect others through a screen (or mechagodzilla serves as a broadcast to infect the ppl of hong kong, kind of like how in DCeased the zombies started via a cellphone virus) g-team consisting of madison, josh, and bernie are also infected at some point which leaves the unsuspecting team kong in for a surprise when they return to the surface, and maybe maia even learns empathy after seeing whats become of her father!
