OK hear me (ghost) out I enjoy their RSE designs (especially Maxie) but I thought a bit more details to look at wouldn’t hurt…

Referenced the RSE grunt/admin sprites for both of them, just to be consistent. Magma admins had the back part of their jacket things look like capes so… Maxie with a cape. Added a sash to Archie to make him feel more pirate-y without going full ORAS

Made these yesterday, redesigned younger versions of them :)

been working on redesigning the elemental monkeys just to try and see what makes them hated in comparison to any other monkey pokemon

i think they just look very un-monkey like in proportion but they also just lack the vibes that make monkeys charming and that’s probably the issue idk

along with not looking different enough from each other so i plan on giving them all different shapes and proportions

also used beta simisage’s tail because i like it better
