Some more good news my film will be screening in Ghana on August 18th as part of the “Chale Wote 2016!” This means a lot to me, though I was fortunate enough to screen at festivals around the world, it’s now playing in my homeland for the first time! So I’m very grateful for this honor:)

Hi! Some of my work will be featured this Sunday at the Roux (17 Frost Gallery 1-5 pm) in Brooklyn for their celebration of Black Art. I made this piece based on an Afrofuturism concept by the dance choreographer/performing artists Celine-Niara Sakho and Sarafina Beck which will later be made into a dance performance by them. There will be lots of great artist and music at the exhibit too. Hope to see y'all there! Hi, Here Are A Few Pieces That I Had In The UZURI Art Show In Harlem On February 19th For Black History

Hi, here are a few pieces that I had in the UZURI art show in Harlem on February 19th for Black History Month. It was my first time in an art show and it was a blast! Shout out to all the other artists and their awesome work!

The second, “Songs of the Ancients/Godstone Temple” will also be published in an Art Book by the great Meryl Rosner coming out in August called “Drawing with Dynamic Perspective: Art for Animation and Live-Action Film” (http://allworth.com/allworth?catid=0&id=12312) each is part of the world of my comic “Phoenix Quest” Thanks! I’ll post more work from the show soon!

Hey! I wanted to share some good news...I recently got word that my film Orisha's Journey will be screening this year at the Hiroshima International Animation Festival in their "Educational Film Market" section, which is where they showcase student animated films they picked from around the globe. Its an honor to be screening there and since Hiroshima is one of the biggest Animation festivals in the world its also a great opportunity. I wanna thank my loving family and friends that helped me with my project. (This is the poster I sent to Japan) -Abdul

It's an honor to be screening there with the amazing Ghanaian animator Comfort Arthur @lady_comfy and all the other filmmakers from across the continent.
