What does this mean? It means, if you buy an ebook from Amazon and you want to use a different ereader, you will not be able to download the file onto your computer, remove its DRM using Calibre, and transfer the book to any device of your choice. After February 26, youâll be locked to Amazonâs ecosystem indefinitely. Books will only be transferable between Amazon devices and apps. You do not own the ebooks you buy. Amazon can (and has) remove ebooks from your library.
Download them now and use the Calibre to remove the DRM. I highly suggest buying ebooks from other places from now on. Links to resources below.

If youâre like me, you have a kindle and youâre not financially in the position to buy a new $130 ereader from a different brand. So what are you to do? The best thing you can do is use Libby/Overdrive. Itâs very simple. The Libby app has an option to link your Amazon account to the app and so when you borrow a book from your library, itâll automatically go to your kindle.
You can also sideload books onto your kindle if the file is compatible and DRM free. Hereâs an article listing DRM free book sources.
Now this is where things get tricky. Most indie authors make the bulk of their sales on Amazon. Itâs awful, but thatâs the nature of the beast. Use your own discretion when buying indie books from Amazon. Check and see if that author sells their books on other platforms or buy their book physically (if the option is available) so that you actually own the book you buy.
Honestly the third arc was worst arc. I hate it every time i reread it. The group of apprentices (That being the three, Berrynose and his siblings, and cinderpelt and her sisters) were a bit fun but their personalities were pretty boring and they would have like one or two good scenes with the three and then never do anything again. Like Poppyfrost. She was brought back to life by Jayfeather, but for the rest of the arc she just does standard background character stuff. Honeyfern is just Berrynose's love interest the whole arc, and Berrynose's siblings, Hazeltail and Mousewhisker don't do anything. I think Musewhisker flirts with a Riverclan cat but thats it. I can't think of a single thing that hazeltail did that was important. It was like three plots in a trench coat, Sol was there for a bit, Tigerstar trained Lionblaze, they went to the Mountains, but it didn't come together well. Also Lionblaze is the most basic character ever they should have made Tigerstar train Hollyleaf or even Jayfeather. Also the Leafpool being their mom thing came from out of no where. In the first book they kind of hint to her being their mom because they mention how she would always visit them in the nursery and she was really nice to Hollyleaf when she was training her to be a med cat, but she's just so uncharacteristically mean to Jayfeather. In the scene when cinderheart's leg is hurt leafpool says how she can't be a medicine cat again and Jayfeather points out that he's a medicine cat because he's disabled and questions why it would be so bad if she was medicine cat. And she just says, something like, You're blind you have to be a med cat and he is just so hurt by that. Also when the secret is revealed, crowfeather gets basically no punishment but Leafpool can't be a med cat anymore, like he broke the code too by being mates with her, he should be held accountable. But yeah all the parts about the third arc are Hollyleaf related.
(Edit) Also I forgot to say, controversial opinion, but Third arc Jayfeather sucks. He just complains about being blind and is super rude to Brightheart and longtail. Fourth arc jayfeather is my favorite jayfeather because he's not complaining all the time.
it all feels so fake
"Joel is the first one to win without betraying his allies and going crazy" "actually scott did it first" did we watch the same series ? The one where Grian flat out refused to kill his ally even after he gave him permission to do so ? The same ally he spent all season with even though he did not have to ? And that he killed in a fair fight they both agreed on ?? In the home they shared ??????
Guys.
