October can’t come soon enough

Today is Friday, June 19th, 2020, which means it is the 250 day anniversary of the premiere of “The Magic Within.” In honor of that I created this sonnet:

Two hundred and fifty days it has been Full of waiting and thinking and moping Since the premier of The Magic Within All that I have been doing is hoping

Hoping that the plot threads will all end well Even though current prospects look quite bleak How the future will go, no one can tell And I can hardly wait another week

When will Carla be released from the jail And when will Victor be brought back from stone Will they forgive Esteban’s betrayal They may not, the answer is still unknown

But in a month, new episodes will start So I will be patient and not lose heart

I was re-watching “A Spy in the Palace” and noticed two things which I hadn't noticed before.

First of all this is adorable.

Second of all, isn’t it weird that Victor just happened to have this picture of Queen Lucia’s tiara in his coat?

Now it doesn't seem like something that he could have just found in the palace when he went there, or gotten from someone in town. It also seems unlikely that Shuriki had it, because why would she store a picture of the tiara in some secret place to retrieve later, when she could have just done the same with tiara itself.

So my theory is that Victor drew this himself. (It would explain where Carla got her artistic talent from).

It is definitely a very good drawing (In some ways, it's more detailed  than the actual tiara)

That’s an amazing chart you have of everybody’s tomborita colors! Though would Victor and Carla’s tamborita colors have changed since they now practice good magic instead of dark magic?

      Thank you! And about their magic colours, well we cannot truly know for certain.      The only spells that we see them do after they switch to good magic is that sparkly flourish spell they cast along with Gabe and Mateo at the end of The Lightning Warrior, and the spell that Victor cast in the finale at Ash. For the first one, I don't think it really counts towards showing their true magic colour because some spells like Conglari are always the same colour no matter who casts them, and that was probably one of those kinds of spells (I mean none of them even had to say anything before they cast it so it was probably just for show).       The spell that Victor does in Coronation Day is still that dark blue/purple colour that he normally uses (Although out of all the tamborita users his colour seems to be the one that fluctuates the most). But we never got to see Carla cast another spell so we can't really be sure whether it was just a coincidence or not.

     In my personal opinion though, I headcannon that they stayed the same. I like to think that there aren't really any colours that truly mean good or evil. It’s how the person decides to use their own magic, whatever color it may be, that makes it good or evil.

I think you make a good point about Carla giving up her life on land. I’d say the same thing for anybody who ships Marzel with Elena or Naomi. They also have hobbies, friends and family that they would miss. Unlike Ariel, the girls never show dissatisfaction with their lives on land. Ariel can be transformed into a mermaid to visit her friends and family under the sea whenever. If one of the girls chose to give up their legs, they would become a Sirena permanently.

Exactly. Plus, they have Master Royal Wizard Mateo, who I believe would 1000% be able to create a shapeshifting spell/object that was only temporary if it were so desired.

It's interesting you bring up “The Little Mermaid,” I believe Ariel would have chosen to live a life on land whether she had a crush on Eric or not. It's just that everyone both in and outside of the movie assumes that she ONLY did it for the romance, which just isn't true.

It features Roland II and Miranda having a conversation about something that they definitely needed to talk about eventually, and what better place to do it then there? (Trying not to give spoilers but I did put tag warnings on it just in case, because there are some heavy topics discussed).

Victor Delgado Headcannon

(I originally posted this on the Elena of Avalor Discord but I wanted to share it here) 

In the episode “Sister of Invention” Gabe says this about Victor to Elena: “He says he'll talk but only to you.”

This Implies that Gabe and/or other guards tried to interview Victor but didn't get any useful information out of him. I like to headcanon that Victor trolled them massively when they tried to interview him.

Every interrogation would go something like this:

Gabe: All right Victor, it’s time that you start talking.

Rico: Tell us what Ash and Carla are planning!

Victor: Well.. I could tell you, but you might not understand… 

Gabe: Just explain it to us, we will be able to understand!

Victor: Well...It depends, how many Star Wars  movies have you seen?

Gabe: ...I've seen all 9 main movies...

Rico: I've only seen A New Hope, but I'm planning on watching The Empire Strikes Back this weekend.

Victor: Okay then can you understand it when I say…  that Darth Vader's actually Luke's father! 

Rico: WHAT, no way, that can't be true, you're just saying that! 

Victor: Am I just saying that Nunez?

Gabe: Well errr... this has nothing to do with anything, tell us about Ash and Carla!

Victor: Alright, I'll tell you...  that Princess Leia is Luke's sister!

Rico: What, NO!

Victor: And You'll never guess what happened in Avengers Endgame! Time's up! Here's what happened...

Gabe: THAT’S IT! THIS INTERVIEW IS OVER!

I got the idea for this fanfiction back in June 2020, but now I was finally able to finish it!✨

What is it about? Well let's just say that it’s about Esteban and Isabel saving the world together. (Any things that may seem odd at first in the story are cleared up by the end).

I love the lace on these dresses, and when I remembered that I had fabric with baby ducks and turtles on it I couldn't resist making a dress out of it. 🐢
