Isabel:

Favorite thing about them: She tries to be cautious and find logical solutions to her problems. And sometimes her anxiety can overwhelm her but in the end she still carries on and succeeds.

Least favorite thing about them: The pink and yellow dress she wears as a formal dress in some of the earlier episodes, some people like it but for me the colours just really seemed to clash with each other on it.

BrOTP: Her friend group and her sister. Also Catarina.

Random headcanon: After the coronation day she starts a part time music band with Christina, Amara, Quique, and Olivia. She sings lead vocals and plays lead guitar(dion). Everyone just expected that it would be a cute little band that plays really happy songs but they surprised everyone when they instead played intense emotional ballads of angst. They were a huge hit. (Her family is concerned about this, but then she pointed out that it's her way of letting off steam as a teenager instead of doing something like overthrowing the kingdom or obsessive revenge. Esteban and Elena felt very called out but also couldn't disagree with her).

Unpopular opinion: Not so much about her personally but I believe that her first invention for moving the rocks in Class Act up the mountain (the crane) was a much better idea than just launching them at the top of the mountain. If there are any workers on top of the mountain while they are launching rocks then people could get seriously hurt, not to mention the shrapnel from the rocks splitting apart. And if they miss the shot at the top of the mountain then the rocks are going to end up flying off to who-knows-where including the town.

Favorite thing about them: She's very determined and is also a bit of a perfectionist. (Which I can relate to)

Random headcanon: One of her main hobbies is sailing and she's so good at it that she often steers the ship when her family goes out on the ocean. (She and Naomi would become fast friends if they met).

Song I associate with them: I don’t have a specific song, but if I did it would probably be a clarinet song since she can play it.

Favorite picture of them: I was looking for my screenshots of the finale and I don't know, something about this one just really stands out to me.

@saraahsapphire Was the one who came up with the Original AU idea, and it was so cute I just had to draw it. After we re-watched “Realm Of The Jaquins” together she said: “What if Victor and Carla became friends with Marimonda?” To which I replied “YES!” and drew this.

They are either plotting to take over the world with plants and friendship, or they have been reformed by this point, who knows?

Here are some bat plushies I made earlier this year! The light pink one with the rose wings was the first one I made. After that I made the Pinkie Pie bat. These are the first plushies I've made using fleece fabric and I think they turned out really well.

Hi there! You said you associate some songs with Carla. Well this is the song I associate with her. "Born without a heart" by Faouzia. I just feel like the song fits Carla so well, I don't know why.

Okay I just listened to it and yeah it does give me some Carla vibes as well. Maybe the overall somber yet defiant tone of the song? Or the acknowledgement that nurture rather than birth is a bigger factor in a person's sense of empathy and morality? There's a certain sense of regret and a slight hope of becoming better in the future that the song gives off that would fit with her too.

When do you think Carla's birthday is? I headcannon that her birthday is on February 11

Nice headcanon! I guess I've always thought it would be somewhere between October 1st and before March 1st (Which is a time your headcanon would fall into). Although there's nothing in the show to indicate exactly when it could be.

Side note, I've always found it a bit peculiar that the EverRealm uses the Gregorian calendar to divide it's years. I can accept that they have the same kind of moon and the same type of sun as Earth while being in a completely different solar system. And it seems like Earth has influenced the EverRealm seeing that they do have models of Earth, and there are just so many things in EverRealm culture that seem like they would have had to have come from Earth. But the fact that they would decide to split up the year in the exact same way...I don't know, it just seems noticeably weird to me for some reason (Even if their years are still 365 days long).

👑 - Favorite character?

(I've already answered with my favourite human before so...) My favourite jaquin character is Luna. She's sassy, she's clever, and she has some of the best lines. Her song absolutely rocks. Her arc, though not the biggest one in the show, was enjoyable. Plus her colours and design work really well, you don't normally see pink and orange together if they're not accompanied by other colours, but she really pulled it off. 

🌼 - Favorite episode?

For this one I'm going to go with “The Sceptre Of Night.” I haven't really been keeping track but it's probably the episode I’ve re-watched the most. It's always great to see a team Avalor adventure episode! They were all particularly good in this one, and we got all four main jaquins as well. Mateo’s song is just amazing, one of the best songs in the series. The humour in it is fantastic, all of Fiero and Victor's interactions are just perfection. (Plus I could personally relate to how Victor snuck up on Fiero. I used to do that all the time to my friends, until I realized that I needed to stop that or else I wouldn't have any friends). And I love how the episode showed it's lesson not only with Mateo, but with Victor as well. Both of them were so caught up in trying to find the Sceptre first, more for their own personal reasons than the good of the group’s, that they stepped on the rest of the group's toes and caused major issues. So that was an interesting parallel. Overall a solid episode and my favorite one in that arc.

I like your thoughts! No matter who somebody ships Carla with, she literally saw the unfolding of terrible, toxic relationship between her own parents. I think it’s an interesting topic to explore how bearing witnesses to the disastrous relationship between her own parents would effect her. There are various ways in which a child witnessing a toxic or abusive relationship might effect them when getting into a relationship. And she was 18-19 years old, old enough to understand what was going on.

Yes exactly! Even though Victor and Ash faked a ‘good’ relationship whenever she was around (for her sake), I feel like she started to catch on near the end of it. And she was really distressed when she saw how reluctant Ash was to actually go back to free him. Who knows if Victor actually admitted that they were having relationship troubles when he and Carla were briefly held in the dungeon together, but either way no one was expecting what happened in ‘The Magic Within.’

Now we don't know what their relationship was like before Ash went off to malvago training, but it's implied that it was okay beforehand. Even so, that wouldn't make up for how it crashed and burned in the end.

In short, I feel like Carla would need some time (and therapy) before she was ready for her own romantic relationship.

Sooo in honor of (the last few minutes of) Valentine's Day, I wanted to share this little wip of a fantastic couple that I fell in love with despite of how little we saw of them.
