Honestly though, I love all of the happy theories where Zag is just living his best life in the sequel, but so busy with something else he can't be the main character of the game. But at the same time I also want some angst to start with and then have the happy Zag and Mel sibling moments. (Feel free to use and expand any of these ideas. I like your thoughts! No matter who somebody ships Carla with, she literally saw the unfolding of terrible, toxic relationship between her own parents. I think it’s an interesting topic to explore how bearing witnesses to the disastrous relationship between her own parents would effect her. There are various ways in which a child witnessing a toxic or abusive relationship might effect them when getting into a relationship. And she was 18-19 years old, old enough to understand what was going on.

Yes exactly! Even though Victor and Ash faked a ‘good’ relationship whenever she was around (for her sake), I feel like she started to catch on near the end of it. And she was really distressed when she saw how reluctant Ash was to actually go back to free him. Who knows if Victor actually admitted that they were having relationship troubles when he and Carla were briefly held in the dungeon together, but either way no one was expecting what happened in ‘The Magic Within.’

Now we don't know what their relationship was like before Ash went off to malvago training, but it's implied that it was okay beforehand. Even so, that wouldn't make up for how it crashed and burned in the end.

In short, I feel like Carla would need some time (and therapy) before she was ready for her own romantic relationship.

I always liked the idea of Corrin giving Dragon rides to all their various siblings/family members so I decided to draw a picture of all 11 of them together! Dragon!Corrin is bigger than in cannon here because I always imagined that Corrin would get bigger eventually (considering what their father looks like).

It took me a long time to make this and it’s not even fully coloured but I think it's good enough to post, so I might finish colouring it one day.

I don't know if I have mentioned this one before (bad memory) but you know how Aunt Tilly takes Queen Miranda inside to explain her what being a Protector is about? Well I hc that Queen Miranda straight up lost it during that conversation and gave her a whole mouthful for putting Sofia into so much danger and not seeing anything wrong with making a literal child a Storykeeper/Protector. And of course I also hc that their relationship was quite strained after that conversation.

Have you ever eaten Lilac flowers? They are edible!!

Really? Oh wow I did not know that, I do eat a lot of edible flowers, leaves, and berries that I pick when I’m outside. So next time I have the opportunity, I might just try that out.

I loved reading “The Petting Zoo” that was such acute story! Carla abd Mateo are such cute kids! I loved the irony, such as Carla not getting Mateo’s name right:) If there are any other instances of dramatic irony I missed in this comment, feel free to point them out to me! It’s unsurprising the memory faded away (they were only 5 after all) but as it did on that day, fate had more plans for them to meet in the future:) Though why didn’t the parents remember? What a pleasure to read!

   Well irony is somewhat subjective, so there could be instances of it that even I didn't notice. Although I believe the other main instance is Victor teaching Mateo a magic trick, considering the end of season 3.

   They the parents actually may have remembered. They didn’t remember who the other was at the time, but they may have remembered later, but it wouldn’t have been relevant enough to mention to anyone. I mean mentioning it during the “Spy in the Place” arc and the arcs following would have  only make each kid upset. After the reformation, who knows? Or one/both forgot because it was only one day and they both have my so many other things going on in their lives that they didn’t dwell on it. It’s up to interpretation.
