I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s been thinking about the ramifications of Victor being a statue for a year. Victor and Ixlan missed out on so much in their own lives and the lives of their loved ones. This will probably take time to process, and they would be abl to empathize with each other in a way that everybody else wouldn’t. I like your idea of Victor and Carla developing relationships with others. For Carla, I think Naomi might be an interesting dynamic. And Elena too.

Oh definitely, I agree. I can only imagine how shocked he must have been when he learned that it hadn't just been days but months since he'd last been conscious. And we don't even know if Ixlan was unconscious the entire time she was locked away or not but she'd most likely been locked away for at least a couple hundred years so that would take some getting used to. Not to mention that Ixlan missed the deaths of all her loved ones too. Well except for the Sunbirds anyway. I guess Elena and the royal family would also be able to empathise but the problem is they do seem to have some tension with them that Victor and Ixlan wouldn't have with each other (seeing as it’s mentioned outside the show that Ixlan is a princess and that means her family used to be the royal family).

Yes, give Carla all the relationships! It would be interesting to see, considering everything, especially the whole spy in the palace thing, because we know how Naomi and Elena can both be quite forgiving so I’m sure they’d become friends, even if it takes a while. Naomi and Carla could make snarky remarks about things to each other, and I imagine that Carla could be a pretty good sparring partner for Elena.

👑 - Favorite character? Victor Delgado. (He's the character I draw and think about the most, so logic dictates that he's probably my favourite). At first he seems like just a mildly threatening/fun villain, but as the show progressed you start to really care about him. Mainly because he's a good dad, that is a very important thing. But I don't think he really became my favourite character until “The Magic Within,” because as the old saying goes: When you can't have something, it just makes you want to have it more.

🌼 - Favorite episode? There are quite a few episodes that I really enjoyed. So just like Elena has more than one best friend, I have more than one favourite episode. But this time I think I'll talk about “Crash Course.” Bronzino’s song was great, the subplot was good at developing Dona Paloma, and it was really cute to see the guard squad together! But the heart of this episode was Gabe and Mateo’s relationship. From them sassing each other, to their fight, to them making up and sharing their insecurities with each other, and then working together to save the day, it was great!

👸🏽- If you could write a 4th season of the show, what would you have in store for elena’s future?

Elena must have a much greater scope of political abilities unlocked now that she has been crowned Queen, so would be interesting to see some of those. I also want to see her deal with a super serious political issue the outcome of which could determine the fate of the Kingdom. Like trying to stop a corrupt kingdom/organization from going to war with Avalor. (They do have a lot of powerful magical resources,  I could easily see an unscrupulous evil ruler wanting to get their hands on them). And then Elena has to use her political negotiation skills to stop them! If all else fails she could deploy the royal guard against them and see how that goes.

Speaking of the royal guard I would want to see more of General Núñez (He probably has some extra executive powers now too) truly leading them to be the best Royal Guard they can be. Maybe there's a bit of a fallout from Coronation Day, because even though the guards had learned magic by that point they weren't able to protect the palace and the town from the shades. Maybe Gabe has to build back up their morale. And after that they train more and become strong enough to actually defeat magical monsters and criminals. Or maybe they have to fight off an attack from that corrupt Kingdom, and save the Avalor in the process. (Also I wouldn't want to see any of the guards die per se, but if one of them got seriously injured it would be interesting to see how Gabe would react to that as well…) (I could talk about this all day but this answer is getting a bit long, but if anyone wants to ask me more about it I'd definitely keep expanding my ideas on this, or what I think other characters would be doing...)

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed my story! 🤩 I do have some headcanons about how they met and how their relationship grew, here they are (I use they/them pronouns for Ixlan here):

The first time that Antonia saw Ixlan was during that scene in “The Lightning Warrior” episode when Victor and Carla apologize to Elena. (We can see briefly that the guard that led them in was Antonia, so logically that was the first time she saw Ixlan.) When most of them leave to go talk to Quita Moz, Antonia begins to ask the Delgados about Ixlan. (“What is Ixlan like? How strong are they? How are they so amazingly good looking?”). The two tell her what they can, but suggest she go and introduce herself and get to know them personally. Antonia is too nervous to do it that day.

She doesn't get to formally meet them until a guard training session a few days later, when Ixlan came by to see how strong the guards were. They are not very impressed by the guards drills, and decide it would be best to test a guard’s strength in one-on-one combat.

Everyone is intimidated by Ixlan’s strength and personality, but Antonia accepts the challenge. Ixlan is impressed by her tenacity and fights her fists vs sword.

The fight goes on for longer than expected, Antonia is able to hold her own with the sword and make clever quips during the fight. Eventually, though, Ixlan is able to disarm her, but is quite happy to have found a worthy opponent (Plus some of those quips were quite…intriguing to the Lightning Warrior, they definitely wanted to get to know Antonia better now).

They start having regular meetings whenever Antonia is not on guard duty. They do things like talking a bit about their cultures, sparring, and having witty banter with each other, enjoying spending time together

Antonia began to see the depths of emotion and wit within the Lightning Warrior. They weren't just good looking, they had a noble heart, and strength of will. Antonia's feelings grew much deeper than just a crush.

Occasionally Ixlan spoke about their past to Antonia. Previously they were able to work out some of their feelings of grief and regret with Quita Moz, but having Antonia leaning beside them listening to everything warmed Ixlan’s heart. She said such comforting things and even in the times where they were bott quiet it felt reassuring. Ixlan hadn't felt that in a long time. That's when Ixlan began to consider asking Antonia if they'd like to be their girlfriend.

But in the end it's Antonia who decides to finally ask Ixlan if they could maybe start dating each other. They respond:

“Isn't that what we were already doing?” “No, I mean like not just friendship dates, but romantic dates.” “Oh yes, I was going to ask you that myself.” Antonia laughed, “Well, it looks like I've just stolen your thunder.” Ixlan smiled.

From that point on, they were a couple.

Favorite thing about them: The fact that he can get away with so much hilarious crime on a kids show. (Also the fact that despite his gruff exterior and questionable morals, he has a heart of gold, and would do anything for his family).

Least favorite thing about them: Sometimes he's a bit too gruff with people. (but hey he's going through some things!)

I loved reading “The Choas Codex of Ultimate Doom”! It was so cute once you understand that these were Isabel, Esteban, Elena and Victor playing together as children! And I was just smirking at all the irony and foreshadowing. Little do those four children know just how many real, magical adventures they’ll all have together in the future. I hope you’ll write more young Flores cousins and Victor fics! They’re all just too cute!

I'm glad you enjoyed the cuteness as well as the irony, it was fun to balance those out.

I do have a couple other ideas for possible childhood stories, so hopefully I'll get around to making those in the future.

I did the the “Six Fanarts” challenge again, this time using recommendations given to me by my friend, @lilystar244 ! I had a lot of fun drawing this one, and technically it's a crossover because they're all wearing Mabel-made sweaters.
